If you like to wear more unique brands, this store carries lines from New York and L.A., including Line & Dot, Anlo and Yumi Kim. The quality is fantastic - luscious, cozy, elegant fabrics and designs - sexy & sophisticated, inspired by more than a hint of Paris, and most of the pricing is reasonable, although there are a few higher-end price tags about the store. Located just south of the Edmonton city cemetery and literally behind (north) of Oliver Square. It can be a little tricky to find the first time. I have friends that have found some fabulous treasures here in the clothing liquidations but I haven't found that hidden Easter Egg yet. The layout is kinda like a thrift store but way less organized. You need time when you come here to sort and sift through the garbage to find the gems. Also, sign up for their email online for advance notice of sales and coupons. It's a fun little liquidation warehouse but it could be improved significantly with better organization and layout.

I loved the tree at the entrance to the store used to display local jewellery! I found most of the clothing a little out of my price range - but many beautiful pieces none the less. I ended up purchasing a gorgeous little change purse after drooling over dozens and dozens of items. You can find purses here at many price points: e.g. Big Buddha (nice vegan bags) starting at around $80-ish, Christopher Kon (a montreal designer) at around $340-ish, as well as Kenneth Cole, Matt by Matt & Nat, etc. Also lots of jewelry at very reasonable prices: e.g. harriet grey, Betsy Johnson, kiko (a local designer). They also carry shoes, but I have yet to purchase those. I'm more of a get in, get out type of gal. I hate the frantic feeling of the bigger malls and I tend to avoid the hustle bustle of a big mall whenever possible. This mall has just the things ya need. A Safeway, a Dollar Store, the Roxx store (get your fill of wacky gems and wood figurines!!), a Suzy Sheer, and a bunch of lil knick knackery stores that are fun to walk passed. My favourite store in the mall is the As Seen on TV Store because I like to go in and sit in the massage chair. Tell em you're friends with KDogg and they'll let you sit there an extra couple of mins! Another thing I love about this mall is that it seems like the administration really tries to plan events and activities for families. At Easter they had a petting zoo, they have a small children's funzone and they often have lil collectors exhibits. They also have giveaways like if you spend a certain dollar amount they'll give you an eco mug or something small, but I appreciate that!! When I went before Christmas I saw an artist painting beautiful murals on the mall floor. I took his picture and he seemed so happy to be there! Also one time an older couple was playing music throughout the mall. The lady was singing while the gentlemen played an accordion. It was so beautiful and touching... I swear I almost teared up! These are the type of feel good community care things that you just aren't going to get at a big mall. So pop in, see what she's all about!!

This happened at Stitches Factory Outlet store. I gave cashier a 50$ for a $16.00 purchase. I was…read moretold they had to get the 50 verified. Someone had spilled a bottle of perfume at the counter and it took my breathe away due to my COPD. I told the cashier I would wait by the door while they got my change ready and then I would come and get it. Cashier said that was fine. While I was at the door the manager berated me saying that they would not walk my change across the store to me. I told her I didn't want that and had not requested that. The manager kept repeating herself and was forcing me to try and breathe around the fumes. I finally had to cover my nose and mouth with my shirt in order to breathe. The manager kept repeating herself and I kept replying the same thing. I didn't think she heard me because of the shirt so I raised my voice so that she could hear me. She said to me "just because you are OLD doesn't mean you can raise your voice to me". This is a clear contravention of the Alberta Human Rights Act. When I asked for her head office contact, she refused to tell me.
