George greeted us I entered the spa and offered me a choice of Water, Hot Tea or Champagne. All good choices but after a full day of traveling I opted for the bubbly beverage while they preparred the room. George asked me how much pressure I would prefer and the areas to focus on. I had been sitting on a plane and carrying luggage so my entire back was stressed and in need of work. George stretched my back muscles and proceeded to relieve the tension that had built up. He seemed to know every muscle in detail and knew exactly the right pressure and technique that was required to complete the task at hand. I heard joints popping and oils being applied to my tired muscles all while relaxing on a warm massage table with comfy sheets and headrest. The music playing in the background was soft and relaxing. I was handled professionally from the beginning and got a same day appointment which is not easy in this business. Most folks don't realize that good therapists have many customers in various locations and scheduling appointments takes some flexibility. Not too mention many customers are flaky and don't show up when they say they will.....and guess what, we don't get paid when we show up and you don't. Anyway, the massage office is comfortable and relaxed. I like to talk as I see this as part of the therapy. Darla worked around my chatter and asked me all the time if I was feeling better and if I wanted this or that, heat or pressure or so forth. She is caring and skilled. I for one will be going to her again, as I said being a therapist myself, she understands where I hurt.
