My results were discouraging, I had a very low AMH level of 0.15, and they also found a cyst caused by an ovarian endometrioma on my left ovary due to endometriosis. No question is too dumb and no request too annoying for her...she was always willing to take the time to make sure we felt comfortable and armed with knowledge and resources. She was supportive and respectful of my pregnancy and birth/delivery wishes, even when they changed. She was quick to adapt to continue to support my needs at every point. Seeing her throughout my pregnancy felt like hanging out with a friend who also happened to be a medical expert! I have recommended multiple friends to start seeing Dr. Fuller and they've all loved her as well. In my postpartum care, she makes check-ups and annuals feel like a breeze. Because it was so serious, and because of her behavior - unfriendly and edging sideways toward the door while talking to me, obviously trying to leave as soon as possible - I went to other doctors to get a second & third opinion. I've seen three other doctors - all highly regarded professionals, two affiliated with the UCLA medical system and one in private practice - and all of them emphatically confirmed I do NOT have that condition. I would never trust Dr. Vu. The whole experience with her was unpleasant, topped by a frightening diagnosis of a serious condition that was discredited by three other physicians.

This first visit, my BP read at stage 2 hypertension (i was later informed). Dr. Toni Vu entered the room with 2 students who were shadowing her. She didn't warn me or ask me if I was okay with the student doctors she just came in very arrogantly and didn't seem to care about my feelings. I asked her a series of questions, which she answered reluctantly as if she were annoyed with all of them. I asked her if my prenatals were good, and I tried showing her the ingredients, and she didn't even give it the time of day she just dismissed me and said yeah yeah they're fine. For most of the visit, she sat in a chair, and she didn't write anything down she let the students write everything. She told me everything looked good and didn't bring up my history of hypertension, which was on her chart since I've been a patient of Care for Womens for years now. She also didn't point out to me that my BP reading at this particular visit was really high, especially for pregnant women. She put on my visit that my medical history was non-contributory... now that I know more, i realize my medical history, my age, and it being my 1st pregnancy was the utmost contributor. She didn't bring up any of this to me. I'm not sure if the OBs discriminate against insurance or even against race, but looking back, i did not get good treatment from Dr. TONI VU from the getgo. I should have run from this establishment and never looked back. She was rude and lacked compassion. She also put all these notes for this visit that she checked all these physical things on me, which she didn't. Thanks for no help, Dr. TONI Vu, I hope you're proud of how you provided guidance to me and my baby who didn't survive. What is the point of going to doctors when they don't want to guide their patients properly, or they just treat you like a number? Then they wonder why people are always doing their own research nowadays.
