Wait times were reasonable, and the same-day discharge process went smoothly without unnecessary delays. The facility was clean and well-organized, and the team did a great job coordinating my care. My pain/symptoms were managed effectively, and I felt confident in the medical decisions made. She entertains questions without making you feel hurried, gets back to me with intelligent answers, compassionate and consistently thorough with the treatments. I've never tried acupuncture b4 so I really didn't know what to expect. Dr Kwon and her receptionist were very nice and helpful. She accepts most insurance and I was very pleased when she told me my Kaiser plan didn't need a referral, that it was already part of my plan. I guess if u have Kaiser most plans need a referral. Dr. Kwon talked me through the entire procedure and explained everything as she was doing it. I had a stiff and sore back for eight months, and had tried rest, physical therapy, and massage, but nothing worked. So, my doctor suggested I try acupuncture, and recommended Good Hands Community Acupuncture. He said he had been looking for a good acupuncturist for years, and that in this place he had finally found one. He was right! After 6-7 sessions, my back is almost all better! My acupuncturist, Hye Jin Kwon, is wonderful. She asked me all about my back: where it hurt, how long it had been hurting, etc., listened to my answers and asked really good follow-up questions. Then she explained her recommended course of treatment, a combination of needs, electro-stimulation, cupping, and heat. She is very careful with the needles, which really don't hurt very much at all because they are so thin, and she helped me remember to breathe as the needles are going in.
