The best acupuncture experience. They are 40 minutes sessions. Each session includes acupuncture, suction cupping, and acupressure. The doctor listens to your needs and adjusts the treatment for them. The need for acupuncture is so great for me, I literally have to go every 2 weeks. I swear by this place and I am so grateful for what they do. This place is super busy so I book my appointments a month in advance, but they will ALWAYS try to squeeze you in especially if they have a cancellation, they will call you back to let you know! They receptionist and the doctor make a great team to get you in n out in a timely manner. They also offer a discounted rate for customers who pay cash and they work with most insurances. I have been meaning to make this review for a while now. My back goes out in me once in a while were it's hard to move around without feeling pain . This doctor was recommended so I gave him a try. He uses acupuncture to help you be able to have a better life without pain. Let me tell you that he is amazing. He knows exactly the location that you're having issues with and when you leave you leave 100% better then what you came in at. The dr will tell you if you need any more treatments or if you should just come back for maintenance. They have soft music playing in the background that relaxes you. The place is always clean and comfortable. They're very nice and friendly there. I go at least once a month but more frequently if I need. I have had piriformis syndrome since January 2025 that was causing me severe sciatica. My regular doctor pretty much ignored the piriformis and concentrated on my back (compressed disks between L4-L5 and L5-S1) and was not able to relieve my sciatic pain for seven months. Dr. Yang is one of the most compassionate and skilled doctors I've ever met! I came to see Dr. Yang once a month prior to my IVF frozen embryo transfer and happy to report that I am pregnant!! While doing research about acupuncture and IVF treatment I came across very greedy doctors who said to come see them several times a week for MONTHS before my transfer and that was highly inaccurate. Dr. Yang explained that a month prior and once a week would be sufficient and I couldn't be happier that I came across his office. The best part is that he does other things (cupping/massage) after the acupuncture for circulation and I truly felt like it helped with the success of my transfer. If you are hesitant or scared of trying acupuncture don't be! I have been suffering from upper and lower back pain for so long now. And have been taking muscle relaxers for the pain that have made no difference. I couldn't sleep, sit, lean against anything comfortably for a while now. At work my pain was worse. So I decided to finally make an appointment. Fortunately, they take my insurance (IEHP) not many places do. He did a quick assessment and got to work. Not painful at all. I felt a difference that night! I hadn't slept that well in a while. I woke up so very grateful. I still feel some pain but from what it was I definitely notice a difference. I suffered from positional vertigo for seven months I took motion sickness pills a patch behind my ear I went to an ear specialist and did the Epley exercise nothing worked I was so dizzy when I would lay flat or exercising was difficult I saw Dr. Yang with one visit, my vertigo is gone!!!! Back/Hip area was sore and in pain. Made arrangements to come see Dr. Yang. Prior to coming, I gave my insurance info to the front lady. Came in to do the treatment, and paid a minimal $45. After a few days, I check my insurance mobile app and I find they claimed over $1000 for the treatment that they did to my back : Accupunture/Cupping. Is this really that costly in Insurance Terms? I would assume a small surgery procedure would be about that much.... However, a simple back pain fix costs that much? Pretty sketchy here... I will be checking other places to see how much they normally charge to me and to my insurance company. If you want to get rid of your pain and finally find relief in your condition this is the place to go. Dr. Yang is amazing, I was really disappointed after my old acupuncturist retired and skeptical of going to anyone new. However, after many recommendations from our neighbors, we decided to give Dr. Yang a try once we heard all of the positive reviews. Dr. Yang and his office staff are incredibly friendly and communicative. His wife also works there and is really friendly and knowledgeable. On my first appointment I was a little nervous but she was very kind and warm and immediately put me at ease. Dr. Yang is also very friendly and caring. He frequently checks to see if you're ok and to ask how you're feeling throughout the appointment. He's very humble, every time I tell what's bothering me, he'll just say, "I'll try" very sweetly and within a few days I'm feeling 100% better. The man knows his stuff! Recently, I've been experiencing tmj pain and was feeling pretty down, I was unable to open my mouth, yawn, brush my teeth/floss, eat without pain and ibuprofen was doing nothing for me. After 2 weeks of popping ibuprofen and hoping it would eventually go away on it's own, I went to Dr. Yang for treatment. I honestly didn't know if you could treat tmj with acupuncture but we're in a pandemic so the last place I wanted to go was a doctors office. So I made an appointment with Dr. Yang and hoped for the best! My pain was at a 7 when I first went in and once again he very nicely said, "I'll give it a try", once again the man worked miracles! I figured... what do I have to lose. After 20 years of volleyball, my knees are feeling the pain. Horrible experience... Called and spoke to Dr. Yang he gave me options and quoted me a price. I called back to set up an appt based on the price he gave me. His secretary first said I was lying. So I asked to speak with him, and he didn't even let me get a word out before he started yelling at me too. He even went so far as to say he never even spoke to me. Usually a person can chalk it up as a small misunderstanding, I mean we weren't talking about hundreds of dollars in difference. But once they started yelling and screaming at me over the phone, I felt like I was getting jumped. It's sad... It could've been handled so much differently, especially since I never even got the service yet, so nobody lost anything. We could've figured out where the misunderstanding was and moved forward. After about 10 minutes of yelling at me, I finally hung up on both of them. My phone records everything, so I played our conversation back and sure enough, he says hes Dr. Yang, and offers me the price I stated. I know the person below me, is trying to be Yelp police and monitor everyone's review. He apparently got mad at the other person for reviewing how Dr. yang handled his payment. Dr. Yang is one of the best Doctor's and the only one I will trust with acupuncture. I have gone in for my very bad vertigo, sleep issues and stress and I feel drastically better only after 3 sessions. My vertigo was getting so bad that I ended up at urgent care because I was so nauseous. After tests, I was prescribed pills. The pills was way too strong for me and caused me to feel so sleepy so I went to Dr. Yang and felt so much pressure lifted. I went to my third session today and it just keeps getting better. I use to wake up so many times during the night but after one session, I have been having better sleep. I am so thankful and happy. I even feel that the stress and pressure has reduced a bunch to me. I was dealing with some sciatic nerve pain that I had never had before. Went to my chiropractor twice and I felt that it aggravated it, so I was in more pain. When you first walk in, you can tell he loves golf. The office is simply decorated & clean. The front desk was very friendly and kind. I didn't have to wait. I was there for an hour. I would not recommend Acupuncture Plus to a friend. Dr. Yang took very little time to listen to my pain. I've had chronic back pain for two years, but Dr. Yang basically gave me a "one-size-fits-all" treatment. I asked for him to be very gentle, but he tried to use a high-power massager on me. He then rubbed a "muscle cream" on me without first asking, and when he was done said "you're done," then shut the door and walked away. I spent the next few hours in pain.
