I started the weight-loss program a few months ago and have also been coming regularly for booster shots and facials. So, I came here for my very first colonic last Friday. It was an experience!…read more For those that don't know, a colonic aka "colon hydrotherapy" shoots water into your colon to clean you out and can reach your large intestine where a long time of buildup and toxins reside. I've done many enemas, but an enema can't reach that far up. The process takes about 45 minutes. A tube is inserted into your rectum where the water comes out. You will be laying down on a table with a "sink" for waste which has tubes for the waste to flow out. I had purchased a groupon which includes a sauna before your treatment. It is recommended to have at least 3 treatments within a week your first time because it can take a while to blast and wash away that toxic buildup. Toni Lane is a wealth of knowledge and I highly recommend talking to her about any questions or concerns you may have. Going for my second colonic today!

Upon entering, I was immediately greeted, offered water, or tea, and was made comfortable while I waited. The room I was taken to was clean, private, and personal somehow. The owner explained the process, offered me a blanket to cover myself, socks for my feet, a hand-held massager for my stomach, and a heating-massage pad for my back. Even though I was nervous, and felt awkward, she made me feel at ease, and comfortable. The entire process was easier than I thought, and because of this, I will be a customer for life.

I had the oxygen colonic for the first time and it is probably the one that made the most significance. These colonics saved my life as sometimes it takes time to get your bowel habits back to normal after certain medical procedures and medications given during surgery. All I can tell you, if enemas don't work, this is a great second step before running to a doctor and thinking something is wrong. It will take a few days to get regulated after your treatment, be patient. I didn't return to regular habits for 3 days after which is normal so don't fret!
