Normally I'm very hesitant when it comes to those for a variety of reasons , but this one tanned every single spot , I wasn't sticky after and I felt great after the rapid tan. The girl at the front desk waited until she had my daughter's credit card to proceed to start putting all the products she would need on the counter to give her a total of over $300 when she just wanted to sign up for a $14.95 monthly membership. Then with that all being said she charged her for something she said she did not want. When asked for an itemized receipt she admitted to charging her for something she didn't ask for and a credit was never given. Itemized receipt never given. *This review is for the spray tan booth only.* I was in need a tan for an upcoming event and after browsing the PBT website I came across a 3 for 50$ deal. The location is very clean, modern, and spacious. The employee was very patient with my 20 questions on how to properly use the machine. I ended up with a mishap on my fingers that lasted for a few days, but that was caused by user error. The deal is only good for 45 days so make sure to use up all your tans before you lose them. I would recommend the salon because the staff was friendly and the equipment is up to date and prices seemed a bit lower than the competition. read more

This is for the Spray Tan... I come here once a week cause I am a redhead and well I can't tan. They have the mystic tan which a lot of other places don't have. Which means that you can customer pick your shades where normal spray tans give you that one shade "orange" look. I use island and sun together. If I want to be extra dark I'll use 2 of each. But everyone will have a different combo based on your skin type. I suggest showering before hand and not use lotion. I use a primer and personally I see a difference when I don't use one. It seems to rub off unevenly and become spotty within days Vs a primer will make it last. Make sure to use plenty of their lotion for hands and feet so you don't look funny after. The process if 3-5min for the actual spray. Make sure to stay and dry for the full time. I get the Best results That way. The biggest tip I would say is wear loose clothing after you spray it takes 6-8 hrs to settle so I just sleep in it and shower in the morning. The next day will be the best version of the tan but it will rub off on your clothes so I Tend to not wear super tight clothes to make it last longer the first day. If it does get on your clothes it comes right out. It can be expensive, I think it's $60 for one time which is why I suggest getting a membership. You pay a monthly fee ($40-$50?) and then just buy the packets each time you use it. So after 2 uses it pays for itself. I come religiously cause I am pasty white and can't tan and don't use tanning beds. But it looks super natural and a lot of people ask me if I use the beds or been on vacation. It last for about 5 days I would say and when I am ready to go again then I just scrub it off with a sugar scrub. I've used other spray tans from their competitor but I like how this one looks more natural and I can custom make the shades. BUT... if you could please have a late night one open close to the strip it would be helpful. There are several 24 hr locations for their competitors but they don't Hard to squeeze it in sometimes cause I work crazy hours and I have friends who use you who feel the same. The beds are nice, but do yourself a favor and DO NOT put your account on hold, no matter how much they try to talk you into it. They will rip you off, the next time you try to reactivate it. If you stop tanning for the summer months, just cancel your account and then start up next season. They ended up charging me over $100.00 for services I never used and they refused to even THINK about remedying the situation. The customer service in this case was pure shit. read more

Was here a year ago and beds were good, clean and maintained. Just came back and something has changed. Bed 13 was filthy dirty and had 5-6 bulbs burned out (seee pics). Told the manager and she blamed new people working and said bulbs were new. I showed her the pics and she stuck to her story. My experiences have all been great. I was early on a Sunday and the man let me sit inside while he prepped the office. I find the machines to be clean. I never have to wait for a machine. I pay a low monthly fee that allows me to tan as often as I want and they change the bulbs often. Also I never feel that they upsell me or try to sell me annoying products. So I've tried a few tanning places in the North Las Vegas area and I actually frequented another salon for quite some time, but unfortunately they moved to Durango and 95. I like the place, but not enough for the drive. I've seen Palm Beach Tan numerous times...obviously any time I'm in that shopping center. So finally, with my old salon really far away and my skin becoming a nice shade of pale, I decided to try this place. I actually really like it. The employees are really nice, not fake nice, but genuine (I even got an email from the manager letting me know to contact her if I needed anything or had any questions). I decided I was going to try one of the beds first (mainly the stand-up, cause that's what I like) before making a commitment...smart right? Well...not when it costs $20 for a singe tan (level 2). Prices are hella expensive for singles!! BUT I ended up liking the bed...yeah, it was a level 2, but it has the power of a level 3 that I've tried in some other salons. After my lovely 12 minutes in the bed I decided I would go ahead and buy a package. To my surprise, if you use the EFT (electronic funds transfer - kinda like automatic debit) option it only costs $40 a month for unlimited tans!! WTH? So basically if I go at least three times a month I'll make my money back and then some...cool with me. You also get a couple free upgraded level bed sessions (ie. one level 3, one level 4, etc) AND you get one free spray tan session. I would definitely suggest this place if you're planning on buying a package...but would probably go elsewhere if you only need one or two tans for an event. read more

Took my time to review this place because I wanted to make sure that I had more than just 3 visits before I make my review. Been to only a handful of Palm Beach Tans. One thing in common in all is their customer service. This location is up there too. When it comes to products, I don't get that feel that they are pushing me to buy one of their high ticket lotions. Some tanning places do. I'm always treat good. Originally from Daygo, I never had to worry about getting a tan. That's because it was so easy to just go to the beach when I start to lighten up. Now that I'm here, it's too hot for me to lay out at the pool. Actually a little embarrassed that I even have to indoor tan since I'm normally a dark Pacific Islander. About this place... I've never had to wait to get on any of the beds and even their stand up's. This location is bit slower than the California location that I usually frequent. Beds and bulbs always look to be in good shape. One thing about this specific location is that it's cooled just right. I've been to other locations where I am burning up. This place has the AC on full blast. If there's one issue that I have, it's for all the Palm Beach Tans. Their rooms are small. Not many places to put your keys, wallet, and phone. This must explain why women have purses. I'm a dude, so I just leave everything in my pockets. My other issue is that I am not allowed to have someone in here with me. I don't plan of doing anything crazy in these beds, but it get's tough to get lotion on my back. read more

Good tanning place, always clean, but has one or two girls who have some attitude issues and poor customer service. Katie is pretty awful, if she is still working there, and always gabbing on the phone to someone about boys or drinking...really unprofessional. The beds are nice, although they don't have the upgraded bed that some of the other Las Vegas locations do. Although regulated by corporate, the packages are decent. I wish they would do a spray tan only package that as affordable, instead of just the UV beds at an unlimited monthly rate. I've tanned at six locations in Texas and Nevada and this one is smaller but still nice and clean. read more

Beds and most of the staff were great. Constantly trying to upswell you on products but that's fine since that's what you can expect from a Salon. The membership however is absolutely ridiculous. They make it so impossible to cancel by trying to make you come into the salon to cancel.... Refusing to cancel by phone is absolutely criminal. I called 3 weeks before my payment due date and LEFT A VOICEMAIL TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT AS IM OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND CANT GO IN STORE. Of course no one calls back. SO I CALL AGAIN TO CONFIRM, and she tells me they never received my voicemail and I had to pay the current months bills still. Absolutely ridiculous. I have been coming the the Shadow Mountain location for a while now, and I like PBT for a few reasons. The salon is always clean, and they keep the ambient temperature cool enough so you're not melting before you tan. There have been mishaps along they way with staffing, but I really like the new manager Jessica. She has been super friendly and helpful. She helped me find the best membership package for me, and also the best lotions. She is very knowledgeable about the products sold in the store and didn't mind putting in some time explaining the product benefits while I selected what was best for me. That is excellent service! The reason I didn't give 5 stars is a facility issue This may sound crazy.... but I wish the restroom situation got figured out. The locks are messed up so when someone leaves the ladies room, many times the door closes and locks behind them. This means I have to use the men's room. I don't care about that but there is a certain aroma in there I'd rather not deal with (and I don't ever experience in the Ladies' room). I think it might be a plumbing issue because the bathrooms always appear clean. Whatever it is, handling the locks on the restroom doors is an easy fix and I hope that the regional or corporate managers will take care of it soon. read more

She was extremely patient, helpful and informative when it came to educating us on services, pricing, and products. I got a mystic spray tan that came out perfectly. The customer service from the manager was in my opinion unacceptable. I walked into the Decatur location and there was a woman inquiring about a membership. She asked tons of questions and the manager slowly explained to her everything while I stood there to wait. I felt that I could have quickly been checked in and then the manager could have finished explaining everything but I had to stand there over 20 minutes waiting for her answer every question under the sun and then show her all the lotions, sign her up and show her how to use all the beds. I expressed my opinion to the manager and she said "well she was here first". I feel making me wait that long when I could have been in and out in the 20 minutes I stood there was rude. I've gone to this location 4 times now. I am a new tanner and have literally no experience or knowledge about tanning beds. Girls are always really sweet and helpful. Shayyane is the one who signed me up and has been helping me to know how long to tan in the bed. She is very knowledgeable and has been extremely helpful in explaining how the beds work and the different lotions. Ac is always on so it's nice and cool. I do believe they work on commission so they are a little pushy about trying to sell you the lotions. But no way I'm gonna buy a 90$ tanning lotion. I've bought them on amazon for a quarter of the price and they work just fine. read more

I registered for the one spray tan a month $14.95. I believe I had it for 10 months at this point and have gotten a total of 3 sprays. The payments continue to come out but I no longer live near a palm beach tan. I was in the area, so I went in. I found out that I would not be able to tan because for some reason a payment did not go through in July. The girl could not tell me why it didn't go through. I didn't bring anything with me except my cell phone. They could not process they payment on the computer which I have already signed for and they do not offer Apple Pay. I have not one email of communicating this nor a phone call. How was I to know I owed them $15. My payments have gone through every month after July. This is December. That's an entire 5 months I have not been in they have collected $75 and I did not use one tan. Not very accommodating for someone they collect money from, and not providing any service to. I cannot cancel my month to month no contract automatic payments until they collect their $15. Which is exactly what I'm going to do. read more

I didn't have any complaints when I was regularly coming here to tan, membership prices aren't bad and I always showed up before the line ever got crazy long. Once my work schedule got busy I had to pause my membership, pay $7-8 a month which builds up credit for when you come back I guess. The only thing that sucks about pausing or canceling is you have to physically come to the store. I was pretty annoyed but you gotta do what you gotta do. Well last weekend I decided to cancel my membership (no real reason except to save a few bucks and didn't need to tan).. so I walk into the store and requested to cancel. Wasn't given any grief, but here's what I don't like: I asked how much credit I had built up ($30). So I ask how many sessions I can do. The girl didn't understand what I meant, so I asked how much is each session so I can use my $30 credit. She said that once I cancel, I can't tan anymore and the credit is gone. I'm sure it's in the contract somewhere, but after I told her I'm not letting $30 go to waste, she said the only way is to buy something from the store.... so I ask for lotion. After her showing me 2 different lotions I say ok to one and ask how much it is.. $36. At this point I'm already annoyed at this whole situation and there's a line behind me so I just say ok. I hand her a $20 bill, which she said she was expecting a card.. and before even opening the register she says "let me check if I have change in my wallet".. so I ask if she wants me to pay with my card and she asked if I could. I complied and then got the hell out of there. Long story short, if you're cancelling, use up whatever credit you have before you decide to cancel because not being able to use your credit on a tanning session is dumb. I don't need a $36 bottle of tanning lotion. Pros: the salon is clean, the ladies at the front are friendly. read more
