They took over all the Body Heat Tanning stores and closed six of them and fired amazing employees. We will miss Body Heat Tanning and this really stinksI would never recommend this place! They are honoring our memberships that we had except of course they'll take our $11 every month. The happy hour on the weekend is gone! Do not visit these establishments or give them your business. Waiting for the lady at the front desk to acknowledge me and get off the phone, I'm the only one here, waited about 5 minutes. Listened to her explain to someone on the phone, I'm guessing g management about which items were going to be testers, new arrivals, and how another person called out because of a roommate situations. Will see if this gets any better. So once I was greeted, lady was knowledgeable and able to explain the set-up. The whole education and check-in took less time then the phone call. My suggestion would be acknowledged the customer immediately, and if it is the employer on the phone, explain a customer just walked in and end the call unless it was life threatening or a dyer crisis. I came here to sign up the other day and the girls working were SO nice. The amount of times I've gone to tanning salons and I feel so unwelcome. Here they were the best and informative. I signed up for the membership and the girls walked me through everything. And I left looking and feeling hot. I love Palm Beach tan on 1725 N Rainbow 89108. All the staff are experts with the knowledge of the products that they sell there. They are all trained yes they went to training for this. These products are only sold here, I have a couple and YES they do work. The location is perfect the cleanliness of it is impeccable. They have great packages that everyone can afford. You can tan on the best sun tan beds I've ever been on, music, light spray of refreshing atomizer while tanning. Your relaxed and feel wonderful when your all done. I look forward to it every time. I came in at 9:40 pm and the girl sent me home because they stop allowing spray tans at 9:30 pm. No where on the website or the door does it say this. I was pleasantly surprised that the new owners have other locations in can use along with free perks to members that show loyalty. A definite step up from the last owners. I will start by saying I have an unlimited spray tan membership and it's crazy cheap because I signed up during a June special for $39/month. Logan is amazing here, so is Alexandria! (I believe is her name) the machines are always clean, the rooms are always stocked with foot covers, blending cream, etc. The girls are super nice and aren't too pushy when it comes to sales (which I love. I buy lots of shit, just don't be pushy lol) My only complaint is that they always seem to be out of island kyssed triple & the shades medium & light. I assume those are the most popular, but if you're running out of those same shades every single month you should probably start accounting for that. I've never gone to a tanning salon because I've always heard crazy stories or people have looked weird with the fake tans, but after trying out Palm Beach Tan on North Rainbow, I'm hooked! Savanah was the girl that helped me with my first tanning experience and it was so simple! She explained all the different products, what they do and helped me choose the best ones for myself. I ended up doing a cocktail tan and the spray tan part was a little confusing but Savanah made sure I had it all down. I was really happy with my results and I ended up getting a Platinum Membership! Very clean and organized store, the manager Chantel is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about everything tanning and gives great recommendations on memberships and lotions etc. She goes the extra mile to make customers happy and wants help, Not to mention she's always in a good mood and happy/bubbly, which is always a good demeanor to have working for your company so other managers around Vegas take notes! I used to tan only at bodyheat, I've never really been anywhere else. However bodyheat has unreasonable prices on spray tans and not really ever any specials on anything. So I stopped in here, I was pleasantly surprised about all of the specials! The man at the front desk really knew what he was talking about, and he took me on a tour and showed me everything. Absolutely awful service. I was paying a monthly membership for spray tans, went in religiously every month for like 6 months, no one ever once mentioned to me that they expire? So I went in today, June 1st to use my one for May because I PAID for it and hadn't had time to get in yet, ONE day past May. They refused me and basically said tough shit ‍ I froze my account after May because I am going to be spending lots of time outside and won't be needing it again until fall. They did nothing but handed me corporate's number. I said well then I'd like my money back from May and they again said nothing they can do. The worst tanning and customer service experience ever! I saw the sign on the window of the salon that they have 14.95 "monthly" tanning special I decided to check it out. When I asked for details the lady who works there just handed me a spreadsheet with all the tanning booths they have. When I said I wanna try their special she looked kinda disappointed. She took my card and first thing she did was change me 35$ and said " ok and I'm gonna go ahead and add a tanning lotion to your total which comes up to 110$ today for the level 1 monthly tanning and the lotion" I was shocked I was gonna spend 14.95 but not a hundred dollars! She didn't tell me about 20$ sign up fee that you have to pay. I asked her to cancel everything and give me my card back. She said she already started the process and can't cancel it without charging me. Anyway, she took off my 85$ lotion and I payed 35$ for 30 days (like she said) unlimited tannings. After she realized she was not gonna upsell me and she is not gonna get any commission of stupid lotion she transferred me to another girl to continue signing up. That one looked at my ID really weird and asked " so which one is your first name?" I was like REALLY? I was already annoyed with that place but whatever they got me for 35$. After that none of the girls made an afford to show me the tanning booth and explain how everything works. After 3 tannings I didn't see any changes and my last time I tan for 15 min. So the lamps are so week that it doesn't make any sense to go tan. I signed up on January 23 and when I came back in February they said that my membership has expired! I told the lady at the front desk that I was told that it's 14.95$ for 30 days. She apologized for the misunderstanding and asked how I wanna pay today! Omg really! It was the most useless and expensive tanning I ever experienced! Those guys are scam artists. I visited this location a few weeks ago and was totally disappointed... The lack of good customer service is rare. I normally just let things go but this one I couldnt and the reason for me canceling my membership. I had paid for a upgrade for 90 days and thought it would end on the 9th, I was sadly disappointed when I was told it already ended. The managers name if I recall is Serena. I really didn't mind too much that it ended, but how she told me. When I walked in she had no smile or pleasant greeting at all, she made me feel like I was bother. There was a another worker there that was extremely nice and if I had gone to her i probably wouldn't be writing this. I've been going there for over a year and never ever had to deal with someone so unpleasant. All the other girls are really nice there...When I said I will cancel my membership and walked away, she said "excuse me miss I need you to sign your cancellation" with no care at all and never asked why because she knew how rude she was and again a very no smile, cold look on her face.. My necklace fell behind the electricity box. I know there's hooks to put your stuff on but I placed it there because I could tell the employee was in a rush to get out of there since I went in right before closing. It had fallen and it took 2 weeks for someone to get back to me to see how we could get it out. Justin the district manager told me that they would not pay anyone to come get my necklace that I should have placed it on the hooks and that it's not their responsibility. I get it's a business but you guys run off us clients. If it wasn't for us you guys wouldn't have a job. I was told that I would have to pay to have someone come remove that electricity box. I've never felt so let down by a company and I am disgusted at the customer service you guys need to work on it ASAP. Whether it cost money or not you guys should do what's best for the client. I'm a paying customer and I have a lot of friends that go there I haven't told anyone my story but I sure will now after what this company said to me.
