The C lights on my 2019 OB went out, it's so dumb SOA fix is new headlights which are easily $1k+ for a pair so I took a stab at upgrading with the Diode Dynamics LED C light and added the halos since what the heck. If I didn't like it, new lights are due anyways. Glad I did, it gives the DRL a more substantial look. I only wish I started off with a newer lens. I have used evil headlights about 7 years ago in the past and thought the workmanship was going to be outstanding as it was before to work on my Nissan R34 Skyline Headlights. Moving forward to now, the quality, labor, and communication was an absolute nightmare, especially from a standpoint when I am overseas and can't really do anything about it. PROS: Parts are good, that's honestly about it CONS: -Took about 4 months to finish due to him going on vacation about 3 times before finishing after paying 1.9K that is now down the drain. - Couldnt find a bracket to hold projectors and ended up rigging up something he made, which came back completely broken and now having to be redone by another company local to me in japan (picture attached) - left debris inside of lens which makes gives the assumption of rushed labor, diminishing his attention to detail.(pictures attached) - Blinker cover came back completely off as it was not mounted back appropriately to where, again, im needing to go through a local company to me on getting it fixed (picture attached). - communication was only 1 way to where I had to constantly ask and wonder when he'd ever contact me ever for the whole 4 months it took. - Company agreed to refund labor, yet has been 3 weeks and still no signs of any refunds (picture attached) OVERALL: If you are local to this company you may not have all the problems as i have. But I HIGHLY ADVISE against using this company to ship your lights as this companys quality has definitely diminished through the years. This is not another "complaint" review. I contacted Francisco ages ago for another project but finally hooked up with him for my 4Runner and boy was I happy to do it. I wanted to make an overland project that wasn't too obnoxious yet legit for nighttime duties. The last thing I wanted was a lot of wind noise from a roof mounted light bar so the plan was to upgrade the headlights to be great for rural roads and while off-roading. He suggested changing to HID low beams while supplementing the high beams with a bright LED setup. I said okay and the finished project is absolutely perfect for my needs. I currently own a 2018 wrx premium with stock halogen projectors including fogs. Couldn't stand that Subaru didn't include hid let alone the led c lights from their limited model trims so I decided for some cheaper alternative using diode dynamics parts. I was referred to Evil by some friends and fellow Subaru enthusiasts on Facebook. I messaged and emailed him for a quote on parts and labor. He was very reasonable for an out the door price and since he also had some diode dynamics in stock he was more than glad to help. From there we agreed on an appointment time for me to drop off my wrx. It only took him about 4 hours to black out the projector housing, add a 5500k hid kit, Diode Dynamics c light, and paint the foglight housings with yellow anodized paint.
