It looks like an abandoned shopping plaza besides the equinox at the entrance of the unnamed road and the wine and cheese place at the end. We came when the sun was setting and even though there were plenty of chargers open on the second level, it gave me a spooky feeling. We ended up walking around the entire plaza before finding the restroom lol and the restroom entrance ended up being to slight left from the second level location where we were parked at. I attached a photo of it. I remembered the code probably until half way around the block and by the time I found it, I had forgotten it and the husband had to retrieve the code in the car I was joking with him saying if I was trying to get away from a bad guy, I'd end up dying at the restroom door from not remembering the code. I was expecting the bathroom entrance to lead directly into a restroom stall. Nope, there's a small entrance, down a few steps followed by a small hallway and the restroom was at the end of the hall. Though very "temporary" in appearance, I was very thankful to even have a restroom to use while I charged. The forests and shrubbery surrounding the charging station is also kind of spooky. Needless to say, I am a city girl. Very used to having charging stations in the middle of malls and shopping plazas. Nice pit stop but... I wouldn't wanna come alone when the sun goes down.

We…read morediscovered what appeared to be a cracked black water tank - water pouring from the underbelly, sagging about 6 inches. We called every mobile RV repair service in San Diego County and everyone was booked out for weeks. We found Tom through RVhelp.com and he came out the same day. What impressed me most was how thorough and methodical Tom was. He didn't just look at the obvious symptoms - he disassembled the underbelly, drained everything, tested the water systems, and diagnosed the actual root cause. Turns out the tank had fallen off its angle iron support, not cracked. He identified that the rear support had given way and the tank was sitting at an angle. He then came back the very next morning with multiple jacks and wood cribbing to carefully lift the tank back into place. Tom also went above and beyond by communicating directly with the manufacturer's warranty representative, providing a detailed written assessment with photos. He was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly cares about doing the job right. He even flagged that the unit was missing strap supports that he typically sees on other campers - something the manufacturer needs to address. If you need mobile RV repair in the San Diego area, call Tom first. Responsive, honest, skilled, and fair. We couldn't be more grateful.

To summmarize - $380 to come out on his schedule, not have knowledge of the systems, not do any…read moreactual work or repair anything, and sign off with only a suggestion to just leave an important part off as the "fix"? That's not quality. I don't do this 1-star review lightly. Tom was recommended by the RV park where I am staying. I called him up to check the plumbing in my Class C, as the kitchen sink, when more than a little full and emptied quickly, backs up into the shower. He quoted $180 to come out plus $100/hour on top of that. He then waited to come out until he had another call at the same park (so at least 2-$180 call out fees for him, bonus), and while there called me to say he couldn't find the problem, but it worked ok if you leave the plumbing vent cap off under the bathroom sink. Folks, that is a smelly proposition. And also, is not a fix or diagnosis, to suggest I simply leave a part of the plumbing off. When I asked after other options, he responded briskly to perhaps find a different manufacturer of plumbing vents, as it might have a different flow through rate. What I learned after just 5 minutes of research is that plumbing caps come in all sorts of air flow capacities. That he did not know this staggers me. I tried caps with different flow rates and that did not work. I asked if he had snaked the plumbing vents from the roof and was told no, they had looked fine from on top. They are black tubes, how anyone could say they looked down them is beyond me. I have followed up to ask for further help, or even suggestions, and have received no constructive reply. When I told him that paying $280 for someone who didn't actually do anything (not even snake the vents), and left with no fix or diagnosis, felt unfair, and asked if he would consider finishing the job, I got radio silence. You can't command top dollar and give no service, show no knowledge, and even less customer service. You can't charge a call out fee and then come on your own schedule, just to maximize your fees on one trip out. I'd stay away, honestly. The whole interaction has left me feeling gross and taken advantage of.
