    Liberty station...
    Jerry M.

Great location at the Liberty Station market. Lots of restaurants, shopping and its just a pretty scenic place to go for a stroll while you charge. 12 Fast 250kw chargers here too. There are also lots of non Tesla chargers sprinkled around the immediate area as well. On the negative side it was very crowded and expect there to be 3-4 Teslas ahead of you. There is no handicapped Tesla charging option. They could probably double the number of chargers here and there would still be a wait. Also the particular row where the superchargers are located is narrow and seems to be a natural streaming pedestrian route so be extra careful backing into your spot. Its also kind of pricey to charge here. Good place to charge because of the fast chargers and shopping on one hand, but on the other hand its a bit stressful with the charging backlog and relentless pedestrian traffic around the superchargers.

    Nice new chargers

Super fast charging. Can't locate what version these are but they worked super well. Depending on time can be pricy - .68¢ when I visited. Was headed this way from Coronado so made sense to fill up here as there's zero Tesla support on Coronado island.

Solid superchargers, the newer versions. Luckily there is plenty to do in the area so you don't have to wait in your car.

    Liberty Station

Liberty Station, Loma Portal, Point Loma

Liberty Station is one of my favorite spots in Point Loma. I used to work nearby at the naval base,…read moreso I was here ALL the time grabbing Trader Joe's snacks on my break, walking along the water, or meeting up with friends at the parks. Every corner has history: old Navy buildings, statues, memorials, even ships, sailors, and men and women in uniform. Afterall, it is a military town. What to do? Plenty!! For free you can just walk the waterfront, hang at NTC Park, people-watch, bring your furry friends, and kids can play on the open lawns. There's water sports like paddleboarding, kayaking and weekend activities. I've been to many picnics, birthday gatherings, all kinds of celebrations, and even just to soak up the sun while strolling. What to eat? As a vegan, the Liberty Public Market has something for everyone. I've had vegan bowls, veggie dishes, and sweet treats. Fig Tree Cafe has plant-based options and Nekter Juice bar is perfect for a quick juice or smoothie. Mama Made Thai, Slurp, Berry Fresh, and Mia Sorella Chimney Cakes has vegan options as well! WOOT! And YES, Trader Joe's is right there for snack emergencies! When to go? Mornings are more calm and afternoons are lively. Evenings are beautiful and can be a spot for a romantic date night. Parking is usually fine unless it's a summer weekend because it has become very touristy. The vibes? San Diego weather never misses! Nine times out of ten you have blue skies, ocean breeze, and sunshine. This spot feels good all year-round! Overall, Liberty Station is a go-to spot for food, views, history, and relaxing energy. As a local, it's a regular spot. For tourists, it's definitely worth a visit.

And the ambience is really good. They also have a park as well. The last thing I would say is that it be easy to get lost. It is so big, with so many different sections. They have an area for young toddlers, to toddlers, to kids. I was so impressed with how much books they have. In addition to that, they have CDs, DVDs, magazines, pretty much anything you can think of. There are a couple of different areas where they can sit and learn. I do love how there were different types of seats as well, for instance, for the younger kids they have the little balanced chairs. There is lots of play area for the kids to have sensory play. They have educational computers, there was four. They have a little area for kids to play with toys and use their imagination, so many good items. There are puzzles, coloring, pages, arts and crafts. I was really blown away with how great this library is. The staff who helped me, I did not get her name, but she was so friendly and answering, and all my questions. They have so many activities also throughout the week, such as reading time and other arts and crafts that you can do amongst other peers. I am so looking forward to bringing my child here so that he can have more socialization with other kids. And mind you, this is all free, which is so amazing. I mean, obviously we have tax dollars that goes toward this. . But yeah, you can check out their schedule for what they offer for the kids. Yeah I think this is the best library so far that I've been to for the kids in San Diego. You can also park underground. Just make sure you take your parking validation upstairs so you do get the first two hours free when validated. After that, I believe it's $1.25 per hour or something like that. Which is very reasonable for downtown. Just remember if there's any events, like the baseball games or anything like that, there might be a surcharge, for example when comic con comes on as well. This is definitely a great learning spot for young children. And if you or someone you know, doesn't have the financial means to do arts and crafts, buy so many books, or have enough space to even how all of these things, this is great that this library has it all for free. I have taken my son to the little play area where we pay like $15 an hour for him to run around and it's further up in Mira Mesa. This is just another great alternative for a fraction of the cost. Sorry I just love this so much. We are definitely coming back here and also exploring as many different libraries as we can.

Boasting a total of 9 levels, there's an art gallery, bookstore, and even a high school here! If you're looking for gorgeous views of the city while you read, work, or study, head up to levels 8 and 9. Everyone here is super friendly and there's plenty of spacious seating options with outlets! However, if you're planning to visit, you should know that quite a few homeless folks utilize this place to rest and sleep. They're very respectful and keep to themselves, so it didn't bother me personally. Note: They have a parking garage underground and they validate up to 2 hours!

He's been dead, but his memory is still alive here. New orcas, dolphins, sea otters etc. existed. My friend and I came here since his father owns a timeshare 5 minutes away from Seaworld and we both had vacation time. We were at the Marriott hotel in downtown San Diego where the parking structure was on the top floor, unusual for sure, but necessary in order to park there due to the poor surrounding environment. A lot of places nearby including the boat museum maritime. Seaworld, changed! In the most interesting and good way possible. New rides, more things to do. Last time I went to Seaworld there were only shows involving orcas swimming in a pool of water splashing guests as the highlight, it still is there as usual, which I loved by the way and was enjoyable to witness. Rides: 1. Emperor - 5/5 amazing 90 degree drop dive coaster, with ejector air time and intense g forces, my favorite ride due to having a fresh breeze of the ocean air at the top and a beautiful view of the park. 2. Electric Eel - 5/5 bizarre coaster with a launch and a positive g roll at the top. Not that intense unfortunately, fun and intimidating, but enjoyable to go on with a friend. I enjoyed it. 3. Atlantis - 5/5 intense hybrid water ride and coaster. Two drops, the water drop was meh, but the coaster drop after was taller and more intense g forces on the drop and swivel loop below. My personal favorite tier with emperor 4. Manta - 5/5 most intense coaster there, super fun, launch coaster with strong g forces throughout. Shockingly the most intense ride at the park with the intense factor of the launches and ejector air time and speed. 5. Arctic Rescue - 5/5 super cool ice ride, it's near the penguins in the back and has a bike you sit on that has great launches and strong positive g forces on the launch, not as good as manta, but super fun, went on it more than once and enjoyed it the most. Theming of the ocean from the start before the launch was cool. 6. Skytower/skyride - admission fee rides, very relaxing, $6 per person, the skyride was fun, you sit in a carriage and observe the scenery of the ocean with a slight breeze. The skytower is a tall swiveling cylindrical seated container that overlooks sea world. 7. Closed attractions - dolphin show was closed, looks promising but was not open during spring for whatever reason, roaring rapids ride was closed in spring reopens in summer, the sea otter show closed due to renovation. Food was very nice, I enjoyed it, I got a vegetarian salad wrap at the cafeteria near the orca show. They had pretzels, fried foods, pizza and sandwiches, burgers that looked and smelled good. I saw some people with turkey leg and they had other foods at the food court. My friend liked touching the small fishies that eat dead skin near the entrance. Place is good for older kids and young adults who have children. Not as family friendly as Disneyland and Legoland due to the intensity of the attractions, especially that emperor and manta. Those two rides are more intense than any of the rides at Disneyland, better off comparing those to magic mountain and knotts berry farm level of intense. Outside of the top 2 mentioned (manta and emperor) the other three were relatively good rides with strong intensity (electric eel, Atlantis and arctic rescue) that Atlantis ride was closed for like 6 hours which was annoying and the wait time was long too maybe 2 hours, so rode that ride last just before going home. We were there right when it opened and left before the place closed. I bought a dolphin souvenir t shirt at the shop and I love it. Overall a solid 5/5 for entertainment, ambiance and overall experience. It had great themes and a beautiful environment similar to universal studios but sea based. The orca show was nice, cute host for the show and the little kids sea lion show was relatively meh. I would come back again. I enjoyed it but it is so far Southern California. Unless you live in San Diego, this place is a treat.

I also observed that there were alot of reserved signs placed on the tables pool-side so this would be a cool date night/ girls night out place .. I also saw there was a large projector screen so I'd love to do more research about that since it peaked my curiosity.. The only thing that would worry me next time around is parking but if you leave early enough to make happy hour on time/plan it out I'm sure things would run smoothly We willl definitely be back!!
