My mom's passing was THE MOST devastating time of my life but Asia was so helpful and understanding during this period. I contacted her for the funeral flower arrangements about 5 days before the service. I told her the colors I wanted and look that I was going for and she easily made it happen. The day before the service I stopped by the flower shop to pick up my order. Everything was ready as planned except the casket spray arrangement. She was still working on that when I arrived but it was during busy prom season so she was working on tons of orders simultaneously. Once she finished, she hand delivered the flower arrangement to the funeral home in Decatur herself, arranged them beautifully on my mom's casket, and sent me pictures for approval. The flowers were lovely, colorful, and fresh. Afterwards I was able to dry them out and make meaningful keepsakes from the petals. On Friday, I ordered a funeral spray from my mother and a potable azalea from my family for our relatives' loved one's funeral in Fairburn on Sunday. Neither the spray nor the azalea were delivered to the funeral home in time for the Sunday visitation. During the visitation, we inquired of the funeral home regarding the spray and azalea but the flowers were not there, so we called Eve's. The man we talked to said the flowers were delivered on Saturday, and he had confirmation they delivered between 12 and 4. I asked if he had a more specific delivery confirmation time and he said no. We told the man the flowers were not there and he asked how we knew that. Ha! We said because we are at the visitation now and they are not here. He said to ask the funeral home and we told him we asked the funeral home first, and both the funeral home and us have looked for the flowers and they are not here. He continued to assure us the flowers were there. Then, ironically, two identical sprays were delivered to the funeral home AFTER the guests were seated in the chapel along with, not a potable azalea, but a peace lily...all three with the cards signed from my family and nothing from my mom. Also, the deceased loved one's name was incorrect, both the first and last name. This is unacceptable service and Eve's should be ashamed! read more

I am disappointed and embarrassed with the Mother's Day arrangement received this afternoon. I ordered early knowing it was a big holiday and specifically chose a local florist vs an online company. What was received was a tiny arrangement nowhere near the size paid for, as I purchased the deluxe version. It also was nowhere near the picture advertised. Additionally, the arrangement was supposed to include a mercury julep vase, but the recipient received a cheap dollar store glass vase. I have used this florist in the past, most recently for a sympathy arrangement which was absolutely gorgeous. It was the sole reason I entrusted Mother's Day to this florist. I understand substitutions are sometimes necessary, but this arrangement was beyond simple substitutions issues. Whoever fulfilled my order, dropped the ball significantly. I could have went to the grocery store and got a prettier and more fuller arrangement for far less! read more

I ordered a Teleflora arrangement from this shop for a friend's birthday. I specifically used this particular shop because it actually showed pictures of the three different 'levels' of choices I could pick for the arrangement. I had chosen the most expensive 'premium' option. My friend sent me a picture when she received them to thank me and to say they were lovely. I was a bit surprised as the arrangement delivered, while pretty, was not what was pictured on the florist's website. I called and spoke to her and she told me that it's not possible to put that many sunflowers together in an arrangement because of how they're shaped and that they're 'in foam' and that "you never get something that looks like the picture". That surprised me, as well - why bother showing a picture if that's not what the customer can expect to get? She told me that what I was paying for was 'the vase' and that's why it was so expensive... but the other less expensive options also had the same vase. She said she had called me to see if I wanted to go with a 'less expensive vase and have more flowers'... but what I had already paid for was that particular vase WITH more flowers. Again- the flowers were very pretty - just not what I ordered. read more

Ordered two 100.00 arrangements for a funeral neither showed at the beginning of visitation. Neither was there I called the apologized and said they would be there in 5. Waited 20 minutes called back more apologies and assured me they were delivering as we spoke. I said that wasn't acceptable and wanted a 50.00 refund thinking the were arriving. They only offered 25.00. At the end of the visitation 1.5 hours the flowers still had not showed. Don't know if the ever did. Flowers were ordered two days before the service. read more

Love this flowershop and the owners! I had traveled to Palmetto to visit (meet for the first time) one of my distant cousins. Stopped at a florist, and they were closed. Stopped at a grocery store and they had NO flowers. I asked where I could go, and they pointed out Eve's, which was right across the street. We started walking over there, and saw someone leaving the shop. By the time we got there, the shop was dark, and a gentleman was just getting ready to lock up. I told them I was trying to find flowers for my cousin and begged them to help me, as we were already running late, and I couldn't show up empty handed. Earlier today my daughter was getting married and the original florist had delivered the bouquet and other flowers for the wedding. My daughter was extremely disappointed with her bouquet so I went online to see if I could find a florist who could help in our desperate time of need. Thankfully Eve's flower shop came up and had excellent reviews. I called the number in a panic and asked if they could help. The woman on the phone assured me they could. The bouquet that Eve's made was incredible and the turnaround time unbelievable. My daughter was elated and this set the tone for what would be a beautiful, stress free wedding.
