I needed some structural repairs to my 25yr. old attached spa which was in a sad state of deterioration. The concrete wall was falling apart and the plaster was breaking up. Most of the pool service companies don't want to take on actual repair jobs on older pools. Mike at Everything Swimming pools was professional and courteous and listened to what I needed. He gave me the best quote at the best price. ESP had to completely demo the spa, rebuild the concrete retaining wall, re-plaster and re-tile the spa. Contacted the company to do a pool inspection on a new home. Followed up with a request for the company to do an initial drain / restart of the pool, filter clean and then potentially ongoing weekly maintenance. Out of three scheduled appointments, the company owner Kevin blew off every scheduled appointment. Each time he cancelled he didn't even call or return phone calls in a timely manner. When I was able to contact him, he would usually inform me that he could only do the work within the next 10 minutes, not leaving me any time to make it to the house to meet him. He does not try to work around his customers / clients schedule at all. Further, at the initial inspection he informally quoted me prices for a draining / restart and filter clean that he later inflated on the invoice. He claimed that he did not remember quoting me those prices on his first visit. I'm sure he didn't remember, because when he blew off his second appointment he gave me an excuse why he couldn't make it -- only to give me a totally different excuse the next day when he actually did show up. This guy is knowledgeable on pools, but if you value timeliness, billing based on quoted prices, and a service provider who actually works for you then this is not your company. read more

Mike estimated our project to tile our pool would be about two days. It actually took almost Five! He started later in the A.M. each day and I felt we were not his highest priority each day. His tile man was very precise in his workmanship but did spend lots of time Not working but on his cell phone! The finished work looks very good since there had never been any tile around the perimeter, ever. Pool was left very dirty as was the decking, with many areas covered in tile dust. This project is done and we are glad of it. Way too long to get it done during the hottest days of the year, so far. We contacted Mike in the Fall of 2018 to repair some major leaks in our in-ground pool. His estimate was reasonable (one of the best), and he honored the quote when we decided to make the repairs this April (2019). He spent the time to do the job properly, and even uncovered another leak that a separate leak-detection company missed. He spent 4+ additional hours to make the additional repairs to fix the new-found leak, but didn't even charge us for that work. His repairs will save us a few hundred dollars a year in water bills, so the repairs will eventually pay for themselves. My 15 year old swimming pool started to show its age as several of the pool tiles began to fall of of the bond beam in my pool. In my search to repair the tiles I found that most pool repair companies want to do a complete pool remodel and then they would fix the tiles. Mike from Everything Swimming Pools came out and looked at my pool and again I expected a bid for a complete remodel which was the case. However, In Mikes bid, he included a bid just for the tile repair. At this point in time getting the tile work repaired was the priority. Mike and I talked it over and he said his crew could take care of the repairs, and he would let me know when he could start the job. After several days Mike texted me that his crew would arrive in the late morning. Mike and crew arrived as planned and began work replacing the tiles. Mike also found several additional tiles that need repair as well. My guess would be over 20 square feet of repairs. Mike and his crew finished the work in 1 day, and unless you look at the grout work very closely, the repairs are barely noticeable.
