Alice is the very best!!!…read more I've been coming to Alice since spring/summer of 2024, and now I can never go to anyone else. Seriously, the best haircuts I've ever had, that make it worth driving from the Bay Area. While at college, I had to try some other hair stylists and they just don't compare, to the point where she could tell they had done things that weren't in line with what I usually like. Her intuition for what you're looking for is spot on, and she knows how to kindly suggest what will and won't work best. Plus, when I was interested in color but am on a college student budget, she didn't hesitate to give me the best at-home suggestions. Not to mention that she's extremely personable, kind, and takes the time to really get to know you and check in on your life, no matter how long it's been since you last came in. Definition of the goat.

The color is always perfect and the cut is what I ask for. In fact, I now drive to Roseville from the Bay Area because I don't think I would find a hairstylist that I like better. I appreciate her honesty: there are times I ask if we need to redo my balayage and she says I don't need it yet. She is also very fun to talk to- for me the time with her goes by fast and I always enjoy chatting with her. I'm really glad I found Alice!

I tried several other salons in Pleasanton before I found Kelly. Unlike the other places, Kelly…read morecarefully listened to me, looked at the inspiration photos (of various long bobs) that I brought, and we talked about how my very thin, fine hair would do with each of the possible styles. She was the only person who actually listened to me, and the only person who seemed to understand that you can't do a lot of layering with very thin hair. After she cut my hair and blew it dry, she asked me to take a look, and then offered to take a little more off the back. I could see that her next client had arrived, but she took an extra few minutes on me to make the cut perfect. I really appreciate her attention to detail. And I could see that the next client didn't mind waiting 5 minutes: probably because she knew that Kelly was going to make her hair look perfect too. The cut was $45, which I think is quite reasonable. For me, the true test of any haircut is how it looks after a shower, when I've had the chance to style it myself. This cut looked great, even after my novice blow-drying. I will be back.

We had the initial consultation and I felt like she really listened. I wanted more blended cool tones and what I called "ponylights". Keema affirmed she understood what I wanted and told me I wanted lived in color. I definitely appreciated her for listening! After 4.5 hours in the chair, she miraculously transformed my hair. I also have to give her so much props for accommodating me while I was 33 weeks pregnant so she made sure I was hydrated and comfortable in the chair and at the wash station. She tightly curled my hair so that the next day, I would have loose curls for my baby shower event and one less thing to do. Thank you for the wonderful experience and can't wait for more self care sessions with Keema!

During my mid-length haircut, I showed her my inspo pic which had lots of layering and she then proceeded to tell me that my hair was not suited for layers which was my main intention for my haircut. I also have moderately wavy hair so layers would work for me. The haircut I received was long layers with a short trim which is not what I asked for. I will be coming back. During my second visit with another hairstylist, I asked for full length bangs and I instead got side bangs or curtain bangs.

This place came up, and Jay had the highest reviews, so I decided to give him a try today. I showed him a picture of the haircut I wanted.
