The BEST place ever. First off, I am extremely picky about where and who my dogs go to when I travel (which is often). It's a must that I have somewhere for my dogs to go for the weekend that allows me to actually relax and enjoy my trip without worrying about if my dogs are okay. The place is super clean and I LOVE that whenever I walk in, whoever is working that day is so excited to see the dogs. It's even better that my dogs get so excited to get inside of the facility because it assures me that they have a great time there. They are also so accommodating! There's been a couple of times where I either have to book a last minute daycare day or a last minute weekend boarding. It's never an issue. They really go out of their way to help out in any way that they can. They really go above and beyond to make sure your dogs are taken care of and that you're not stressed out about finding care. I use Everything Dog for daycare, boarding, and even for grooming. The dogs love it, I love it, and it's a place that I rave about to my friends. I'm so lucky to have found this place! Don't take your dog here if you have a big "aggressive breed" because they will discriminate against it. I dropped off my German Shepherd and not even 10 minutes later they told me I needed to come pick him up, which was funny because he had been to the groomer many times before with no issues but after moving, I needed to find a new one. So after doing tons of research, I found another place nearby with great reviews and what would you know they had no issue with my dog at all. The issue was not my dog. It was their groomers. Not to mention the passive aggressive comment they made when I was picking him up, asking if "he let me brush him at home". He lets everyone brush him and loves to be brushed, but he also is a good judge of character and maybe that was the issue. If I could give no stars I would! Walked in with my 6 month old golden doodle who was just bathed and groomed 5 weeks ago by a different groomer but this would be his second time coming to Everything dog. The front desk tells me the groomer would come out to talk to me. Instantly after seeing my dog she has a rude tone telling me she'll have to shave him down I tell her I did not want that then she proceeds to tell me that his hair is matted and she can't fix the work others didn't do and that she would have to charge me and that she didn't know my budget. This is my second dog bringing to this place and I've never even asked for price I just pay tip and go. It was her energy from the beginning she did not want to groom my dog and her energy gave that as soon as she opened her mouth. I attached a picture of my "matted" golden doodle. NEVER AGAIN. I would like to preface this by saying I have never written a bad review for any business, let alone a dog groomer, but unfortunately there is not a choice in this situation. If you have a double-coated or long-haired dog, do NOT take them here. Had my American Eskimo here today and they returned him almost completely shaved (pictured in image). He did have some matting, particularly on his belly and on his bum, which we do typically have shaved. The rest of his fur was long, but absolutely not "extremely matted" as they tried to tell us he was. They called us a few hours after he had been there to tell us they needed to do some "corrective grooming" to his fur. We had assumed this meant they would be cutting him shorter than usual - we assumed with shears or something - but absolutely nowhere in the conversation did they tell us they would be shaving him or taking clippers to his whole body, nor did we ask them to do so. For those who don't know, you can NOT shave a dog with a double coat as this is their protective layer. Doing so can cause irreversible damage to the coat and it may never grow back in the same way. It also leaves them prone to sun damage, wind, etc. There is almost never a reason to shave a double-coated dog. My dog's fur is now coarse, brittle, and he can't be outside for more than 10 minutes without shivering (he's a winter dog and usually loves the cold/snow). Not to mention the shave isn't even uniform; it's different lengths in all places and just looks awful. Because of this groomer, his undercoat may not grow back fully for up to a YEAR, and may never be the same. My dog has quite a bit of fur, and I understand there is more effort that goes into grooming him than other dogs. We also would've understood if the groomer was not capable of finishing the entire process in one day and needed to return him to us with longer fur, or simply asked us to bring him back another time as they close at 3 on Saturdays. But for them to shave our dog without asking or consulting us is deplorable and completely negligent practice for double-coated, long-haired dogs. This is even more confusing because we've taken our dog to this groomer before - when he's had even longer fur and more matting on the belly and legs - and they've done a beautiful job (you can see in the other image here). Maybe the groomer had plans this Saturday night and wanted to leave work, but this has now resulted in my dog having potentially permanent damage to his previously beautiful coat. If you want to spend nearly $200 for your dog to be hacked and shaved WITHOUT permission, go ahead and bring them to Everything Dog in Canton. Otherwise, take your money and your dog elsewhere. read more

My dog Lucy loves everything dog! She always is so excited to go for daycare or boarding. The staff is amazing and truly makes me feel like Lucy is family. I never have to worry about her when she is there. On hot days they have small pools out back and give frozen watermelon treats. How could she resist! My dog absolutely loves going to day care! He's there about 4 days a week. Every morning we are greeted so kindly by a front person. The owner and staff are always so nice. He's a high energy puppy and they make sure he gets all of that energy out. By the end of day he's so calm and happy from his fun-filled day with the staff and other puppies. I worked there for a couple of weeks they have no clue how to run the place. What they do is all by guessing ,they also leave the place filthy wile I was working there I told them that there was poop on the floor were they house the grooming dogs the poop stayed there for 2 days .I was constantly telling them the place should be cleaned better .they also let the workers get high all day long , finally I had too much and quit they still haven't payed me the last of the money they owe me I'll be seeking damages in court ! This place saved our thanksgiving! My dog got sprayed by a skunk the night before and I tried to get the skunk out but my attempts failed. I went to Walgreens and bought the ingredients for what the internet recommended: baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, & dish soap. On my way back to our hotel I was armed but doubtful when I saw some cars in the driveway at this place I decided to stop and see if they could help. The staff was super nice and made an exception to help my dog even though they weren't taking grooming appointments on thanksgiving day. Thanks so much to Nicole for such a great job and getting the skunk smell out. Our dog smelled so nice and she even gave us a cute bandana. I brought my dog for a grooming when I arrived to pick him up I was outside the establishment on a personal phone call trying to respect the lobby of this place and I was rudely interrupted by MIKE property owner he says. As I talked on my call outside he interrupted me not asking me if I needed any help, but rudely asking WHAT YOU NEED, WHAT YOU WANT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE. REALLY! I'm a man of color and I really wonder if he does this with people arriving to conduct business I say this because I actually parked close by when I left and saw 4 different customers arrive and not once he came out to say anything including a person smoking outside this place. All on video! Then when I went to pay they tried charging me more than the $75 that was quoted by Jim in my initial detailed information registration of our dog and the grooming was horrible!I will never bring my beloved dog there again. He actually said that he asked me WHAT I WANTED because he owned the BLDG. and he's had issues with break ins. so if you're dark in color expect Mike to think you're there to break in not pick up your dog never once he came outside when other people were there to conduct business including 2 that hung out outside one ended up going in after his cigarette. Disgusting! and like I told him that he's an idiot on top of being singled out because I'm a man of color. The young lady that works there apologized for Mikes behavior and apologetic over the whole thing including the price change with no explanation.
