I started off by bringing my two French Bulldogs, my Pug, and an occasional friend's French Bulldog there to have their nails trimmed. I couldn't help noticing all the terrific looking dogs that left the shop with their coats positively sparkling and decided I wanted the same look for my crew. Once was enough to make me a believer - my little rough and tumble dogs came out as soft and smooth as velvet, and as an added bonus, the Pug didn't leave fur all over my house for at least two weeks. It was amazing! I've already been back for a second round (all three of my dogs and an extra dog)... and I'll certainly be back again. If you think that short haired dogs won't benefit from the services of a professional groomer, think again. And this shop has a very upbeat, dog loving staff that treat their clients with respect and care. Go there, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. They're okay. I was happy with them at first, but there was a day when I think the groomers took on too many dogs (so many that they forgot that my dog was even there). I took him in, in the morning (first thing). By 3 pm, I had heard nothing. I called and finally got someone on the phone (yes, there were times when you couldn't get through). the voice said "oh, he's been done for hours. Didn't I call you?" No. I replied. They didn't even apologize for keeping my elderly dog unecessarily and all day long like that. It's very sad that, that was his last hair cut. He passed away shortly thereafter. I'm giving them 3 stars because they do an excellent job grooming the dog, but more care has to be given to the dog and the owner. read more

We have been grooming our dogs, Collies and Pomeranians, for nearly fifteen years (maybe more) with them and, obviously we could not be any happier with our experience! Shellie and her staff are careful, attentive and listen to our preferences.....whatever we want the length or cut to be, we get...short or long, when we drop them off, she always asks" what look do you want?". Our pets always enjoy being there, her Irish Setters are in the shop and our pets seem to really enjoy being there with them. She always presents us with a perfect looking critter or critters! they look terrific in every instance. she is careful when clipping nails, giving them little bows and making them perfect in every aspect. She also asks if you want to set the next appointment, picks a convenient date and gives a reminder card. . We have had a few " uncooperative" dogs in the mix but they handle them perfectly.... DO NOT BRING YOUR POMERANIAN HERE. They were great with getting me in but when I arrived to drop off my Pomeranian. We talked over what I was looking for, I mentioned that I just wanted a trim about a inch off and even showed and pointed out how short I wanted it to be (my pom had at least 3.5-4inches of hair) as I loved her fluffy and specifically said I DO NOT want her shaved at all. Please just trim her face area as well. they then told me it was a 3-4 hours which I didn't expect as a first time pup owner. Before I left my pup with them I asked if she worked with poms before and she said yes, I left with confidence that she will come out beautiful. When I saw my pup after 4 hours, I almost started crying because all of her beautiful hair I maintain on a daily basis was all gone to about a inch left. I think the girl noticed that I kept looking at my pups hair and said oh yeah, I used the longest trimmer and this is what it came out as. (Then what was the point of asking me and showing you where I wanted her hair length?!) I was so upset that I didn't know what to say at that point and I paid and left. Shelly was very condescending and made references that I lied about the condition of my dog so she could go ahead and overcharge me without first getting permission from me. The regular price was $100.00 and she added on an extra $50 for extra brushing!! $150 to groom my dog!!! Also, I dropped my dog off at 1pm and did not get her until 7pm. My dog is a large breed, great Pyrenees female who gets groomed every 8 weeks. She was in good condition considering we had missed a month because of Covid. To overcharge because it's a large breed and needed extra brushing is absurd. read more

This groomers has consistently sent our poor puppy home hurt, in pain, and neglected EVERY SINGLE TIME WE HAVE BROUGHT HIM. We have given them the benefit of the doubt numerous times due to the fact that she does a decent job at cutting his hair for his breed. This past time he was sent home bloody... posting photos so you all can see for yourselves. On other occasions he has come home limping & refusing to go to the bathroom. I wasn't quite sure what to do but I explain to them what I wanted and they did exactly what I was hoping for. This is my first time taking Zeke to the groomer and it's my first time dealing with this he's a rescue and they were so accommodating. Other places I called were booking out into the next month and they were able to squeeze me in at the end they are so helpful and kind. Shelly and Jackie are amazing and are so good with the puppers. I am sorry, I generally do not write reviews but I feel as though I need to. We made an appointment and brought our dog in for grooming. We dropped her off at noon on a saturday and were told to pick her up in three hours, which seemed kind of odd at first as three hours is a little long, but we went with it. This basically consumed our entire day, having to pick her up three hours later. In we walked three hours later and were told that her haircut had not begun and to come back in another hour. Keep in mind we live 30 minutes from this place. If you are not going to start the haircut for three hours please make the appointment for three hours after you originally would have. From Milton Ma.--WE WILL NOT RETURN: We used DGG for our previous dog and were happy. We brought our puppy for a pre-visit in August, then for a real cut in October 2022. They estimated 3 -4 hours. At 3 hours we called to see how much longer and they said that they hadn't begun! Then they charged more because he was "difficult" . They did not set up our puppy for success and then had the audacity to charge us for it. We decided to try one more time. At drop off we asked for a time estimate and were told 3-4 hours and he was second in line for services. (We set it up this way based on the previous experience). At 4.5 hours we called and were told that he wasn't done and they had no idea how much longer it would be! Their tone was rude. Again they complained that he was difficult. We felt that he was unsafe there and went to get him. The body was done choppy and too short. The head, paws, and under-belly were not even started. They were equally rude at pick up. Not pleased at all. Dropped off at 10:30am on a Saturday and told it would be a few hours...they called us 6 hours later!! Of course I called before that and was told he was taking a long time to dry. When I picked him up he was still wet under his neck and despite me specifically asking them to clean his ears they weren't even touched. Very frustrated with this place. I had booked an appointment a month in advance then I asked the guy to call me a day prior for a reminder. I wrote in my calendar to drop of my dog between 9:30-10 because that's what we agreed on. The day of appointment I was told they had us for 8:30. I never got a call a day earlier to remind us or to tell us that the schedule had changed and I was already late for our appointment and cannot take us. Then I rescheduled for another day, I was told to drop of my dog between 9-9:30 because I told her that I have to drop off my son first and he has to be in school at 9.I again asked to call us a day prior just to make sure that the schedule did not change. I never got a call the day prior and I got there at 9:07 and waited and called until around 9:20 but the place remained closed. I called an hour later to see what happened and I was told that they had me down for 9:30 and that she "told me last week that she'll be dropping her son first and will be open at 9:30" which I never recalled her saying. I'm very organized and I always write things down the way I was told as it is part of my job. I just felt that they did not have any respect for my time at all. read more

Thought that was strange but hey I'm a new dog owner. He came out pretty good (minus the mysterious cut on his belly) and since this place is conveniently right next to my house, I gave it a second shot. HUGE mistake. The second time I made an appointment, I was told to bring him in at 12. I called 4 hours later asking the time frame and they said they hadn't even got him in the tub yet. 6 hours later, I come in and he is STILL not ready. The groomer rudely said, "oh I'm still not done," while continuing to tell me I own the most uncooperative dog and that she "doesn't have time for this".
