So my wifes screen was craked on her phone, we wanted to avoid waiting for the insurance company to send us a new one so we figure we just pay and get the screen replaced. Note that the phone was tested before starting the repairs the technician tested it and we called it to show phone is activated and functioning. Technician said half hour. We came back 45 min later and he was wrapping it up. I paid the guy name Mark then I began to inspect the phone which I should have done first. The phone ended up not having no reception. I showed the guy and he kept saying because the phone needed to reset back to its available towers. That's dumb and a lie, he was inventing things as he talked. He asked that I contact Verizon duo they can reset the phone I did so while staying in the store because it was 15 min past closing. Mark at this point just wanted me to leave. I left phone talked to these people 5 times and they give me lies that are obvious, also spoke to Helen the manager/owner and she yelled at me yes yelled at me saying that it is my fault for breaking the screen that the technician is working on it. Called today an they said technician says its because my phone does not have latest update. Its an iphone 4 with 6.1 working like this for a year no prob and now its an update issue (DUMB) talk about inexperienced people. I didn't allow them to update phone. So mark replies that the technician wants two more days then. Hehe I don't know what hell do that he couldn't have done in the past 5 days. I recently had an iphone unlocked by this store on referral by the t-mobile store also located at the block. First, the customer service was non-existent, they barely wanted to give me a time frame when the services would be completed. I was told it might take a day or two and they'd call when my phone was ready. When I didn't hear anything later the next day I called and was told "uh yeah, looks like it's ready". When I picked up the phone and asked if there was anything I needed to know about having it unlocked I was told no it's unlocked. I have never used an iphone before and know nothing about how they operate. Once the Sim card was switched I hooked the phone up to my computer where it began updating the software. It would appear once you have a phone unlocked you cannot update the software or it re-locks the phone and you again cannot use it anymore. I called Everything Cellular and was referred to their owner Helen (who would not give me her last name because it's difficult to translate???). I spoke with Helen about my problem and all she had to say is that it's not her job to tell me how to use my phone. I pointed out that I had asked her employee if there was anything I needed to know about the phone once it was unlocked and he said no. Helen advised that they never tell anybody about what they can and cannot do with their phones. I asked her if she thinks that it's good business to mislead her customers and not answer questions when they are asked and her response was to grunt and tell me to bring the phone to her to look at and then hung up on me. It is sad that a business with such disrespect for their customers can continue to operate. My recommendation to anyone looking to have their cellular products fixed would be to avoid this store and find a more trustworthy establishment. read more

I took my Itouch to have the cracked screen repaired and when they replaced the new screen they left fingerprint smudges on the inside and it wasn't flush like before. I just figured that was because it had been tampered with. Well a couple of weeks later I had a headphone jack repaired, I wasn't going to take it to same location so I went to game geeks. It turns out the work that was performed was very sloppy and I had to have it re-done. I would not take anything for repairs at everything cellular anymore. read more

This place is lucky to even receive one star if I could give it a negative star I would. I knew someone who use to work here and she said it was the worst place ever. All of the employees are trained to lie to customers so they can take your money. The products are super cheap and the prices are ridiculous. The owner, Helen, is a filthy liar and will say anything to try and get your money. She'll say she can fix the phone within 2-3 days but often time it would take several weeks or in some extreme cases, several months. My son took his WORKING IPhone to the Everything Cellular Shop at the Promenade Mall to have his cracked screen fixed. They kept it for 40 minutes and then returned it to him NOT working and the screen even more cracked! The tech said he couldn't fix it and offered a free case for breaking the phone! I dropped off my two cellular smart phones for both charger ports to be replaced and a broken power button to be fixed. Grand total 174.00 USD. They said it would be 3-5 days. I then called on the 5th day to see if the phones were ready and they said "Oh we need to order the parts." At this point I was thinking 'it takes them 5 days to notice that the phones were there, I wonder how long it would have to took if I had not called them.' I called the manager and he explained that the parts were being ordered from New York, that my phone was old, (which is not true since it is a Palm Pre Plus that came out a little over a year ago. and is still selling for 400.00 USD retail.) He then said it would be ready in a week. I called back, they said the technician hasnt started working on it. I called Manager and asked for discount, but said that it was expensive to ship!!! Uh hello charger ports and a power button weigh less than 2 half dollars!!!! And said it would be ready in a few days. okay called the day he said it would be ready which was on a monday... the guys that work there said the technician hasnt started on them!. Oh my gosh! okay, called the next 2 days later said one phone was ready but power button on the other phone still needed to get fix and that it would be 1-2 days. Called 2nd day later and said that the phone wasnt in shop. then I called Manager David he said that the phones were ready (lying!) and to call shop and confirm they were there. Called, confirmed, had my sister pick it up for me and turns out they didnt fix the power button! All of this took 2 and a half weeks. And about nine or more polite phone calls. Im very upset because out of those nine calls the manager did not even have the gall to apologize. Second some man in front of me asked one of the guys that worked there for a discount and he said "sure man" while when I asked on of those employees he said "im not authorized to give a discount only the manager does that". Lies. In all fairness one of those employees did apologize and was nice after weeks of calling. Secondly they do not charge you a high price. In concusion, this business is rediculously understaffed, rude, discriminative, and does not value customers. Save yourself the headaches and stress. read more

Terrible terrible experience. All I needed was a battery switched out of iPhone and it turned into almost a week long dilemma, in which I came to find out I was greatly over charged for it. It took them 3 days to get my phone back (they originally told me 2) and when I got it back it wasn't put back together correctly and wouldn't turn on! Of course they had to send it back out to their technician, which took two more days, again I was told it'd be less. Meanwhile I was without an extremely important tool to my work. It was clear there was a severe lack of communication in their company chain and no one knew what they were doing or talking about. Also I found both times I went in to pick up my phone, other customers were ahead of me giving them an ear-full, feeling as frustrated as I was. What's more they offered no concession for their shortcomings, simply stupefied looks. Then it turns out they replaced my battery with a malfunctioning one to boot! It was a terrible, unreal experience. Please save yourself the hassle, not 50 feet away is a place called "idoctors" who were able to help me, switching out my battery in less than 15 minutes on the spot. would give no stars if i could. i never review, so the fact that i am, should say something. this place's prices are a JOKE! their cost per item is 4 to 6 times more expensive than amazon.com. i bought a case, against my gut which was telling me to wait. went home to check amazon. the case at EC was $30, on amazon $5! i did not see the tiny sign that said "no exchange/no refund" to the right of the register, but when i checked my receipt, i saw it written in tiny words at the bottom. i thought they certainly could not stand by their policy for a product that was marked up to that degree. i returned that night and spoke with the salesperson. she begrudgingly and hastily wrote out a handwritten "store credit" for $30. she asked if i needed anything else. i was also pricing a backup charger for my purse on amazon and saw some with large battery capacity, the size of a lipstick tube, for $10-$15 on amazon, so i thought i'd ask the woman at EC if they had something like that. she brought over an item that was twice the size but only a fraction of the battery capacity. i thought maybe i could deal with it. i asked her what it cost. she said $37! i was aghast! i told her the pricing i saw online. she tried to tell me her products were better quality and that is why they cost more, which i know for a fact is ridiculous. i am now stuck with this stupid store credit, which i am certain i will end up having to buy something i know is ridiculously overpriced, just to get it off my hands. i may try to appeal to the Outlet of Orange business manager to see if they stand by their stores ripping people off to that degree. these low ratings on yelp should speak volumes. read more

This place sucks! First they told me they didn't have anymore black covers for my cracked phone, I was okay with that, it wasn't a big deal. I decided to go with white, then they say they don't know how to fix it! Later they started saying it wasn't working because apparently I jail-broke my phone. I have never jail-broken my phone! Now that I have my phone with this crappy cover that feels extremely awkward, i felt like looking through my photos, only to figure out that the asshole who "fixed" my phone, also deleted my photos and videos as well. I'm never buying anything from here. I hope they go out of business soon. read more

Terrible experience My cell phone was not charging so I brought it to everything cellular for repair. He made a call with someone somewhere then said it is due to a charger port and will cost 85 $. I gave him the phone then came back a few days later to take it, I paid the money since it looked like it was OK and charging. I put it on charger at home but never charged. I came next day again and told him. He made a call again and said it is due to water damage, if you want it today go to "cell phone repair pros" and will need to pay another 40 $. I tried to argue but discovered that they never repair phones, they rather send them to another terrible store "cell phone repair pros" in westminister and charge people very high costs. I went to the other store myself, they refused to fix it unless I sign a contract to pay 40 $. Finally I did, since I was in urgent need of the phone but promised to tell this awful story to people. this place does not care about customer satisfaction!! first of all, it took them more than a week to fix my phone and they said they'd call me. it took too long so finally i called them and said they just got it fixed the day before! why didn't they call me then?!?! paying 65 bucks for getting a charger port fixed was wayy too overpriced i think! but i didn't care as long as they got it fixed! but did they! when they tested the phone with me, it was working fine.. until i get home charge it again charger port was more broken than when i gave it to them! i went back and fought that lady telling them i'm giving them another chance! again they said they call me when it's ready but they didn't. i couldn't call and ask if it was because their phone is broken too!!! i just went there a week later assuming it was fixed... and guess what.. they said it was "unfixable." lastly, if they don't get ur phone fixed, they don't give you a full refund back. from the $65 i paid they only gave back $45 since i was still charged for their terrible service. this store has to close down. this was the second phone i brought to them to get fixed and neither times were successful! i don't want you to experience the same misery i went through.
