Was just reading the latest review from Angela M. and I was in the store at the time. This "Karen" is the problem with society right now. She apparently doesn't understand how things work and I felt sorry for the workers behind the counter having to be kind to this individual. If you read through her review, you can see the gapping holes in her problem. Everything Bagels is one of the very few Mom and Pop shops around and they have been apart of this area for a long time. I used to love this establishment but after todays experience with Abby I will not be back. 1st here is the definition of substitute: a person or thing acting or serving in place of another. When order 2 signature sandwiches, that clearly says comes with bagel chips I asked if I could substitute bagel chips for Kettle chips. Abby says certainly. When I looked at my receipt she had charged me 1.50 for Kettle chips. I went back and said since I was charged for the Kettle chips do you mind throwing in the Kettle chips that came with my sandwich? I was told no because I asked to substitute. I asked how much is Kettle chips normally and was told 1.50. I could not make that girl understand that I was paying for the Kettle chips and was owed the bagel chips. I asked to speak with the manager and she told me she was the manager. She was very rude and was determined I was not going to get her free chips that comes with the meal. Abby needs to learn the meaning of substitution and but even more than that remember kindness is a game changer. read more

Except for the actual bagels, most everything used is processed garbage making it no better than any other fast food chain (i.e. Starbucks, McDonald's). Also the microwaved sandwich makes the locally famous bagel taste like rubber bands. I dont see what uss is about. read more

I have been going to Everything Bagels for years, for their Chicken Salad bagel.... The last 2 visits the Chicken salad was terrible... They change their supplier and or their recipe.... Where do I begin?! These seriously are the best bagels in Cincinnati. Anyone who tells you any different is probably lying. I've had Marx a hundred times, Brugger, you name it, I've had it. Everything is the best. I'd put it up there with the 20 bagels places I've tried in NYC. The staff is so friendly. The food comes out fast and exactly how you want it. We went to this little bagel shop this morning and it did not disappoint! I got a sausage, Egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it was delicious. It was about $4. I also got a vanilla latte. The latte was good, but the medium cup was only filled about 3/4 of the way so I felt a little gyped since I paid as much for my coffee as I did for my food. My only complaint is that there were no breakfast sides to order. At our usual bagel spot, they also serve breakfast potatoes, sides of bacon, etc. I wish this place did the same. Other than that, I enjoyed the breakfast and will definitely return. Also a side note, we went over Veterans Day weekend, and they had a POW MIA display set up which myself and my family really appreciated! So props to Everything Bagels on their patriotism and appreciation for our military! read more

What you've heard is true. And if you are in the area and contemplating stopping, DO IT. First off, finding a local business to eat at in this area is few and far between. I used to work over here and the choices are mostly fast food: Sonic, Pizza hut, mcdonalds, O'Charley's etc. A co-worker of mine discovered this place and it spread like wildfire. Sooner or later we were putting in mass orders of 20 at a time for lunch. And here's why - they offer healthy alternatives in an otherwise saturated fast food area. You can get deli sammies, sandwiches or wraps all with fresh REAL food. As far as the bagels go, this place is pretty fantastic. I am a simple bacon, egg and cheese girl no matter what time of day it is. Real bacon, a real egg, and real cheese. Now when I say "real" you are probably thinking as opposed to fake? YES. I hate those places that slap a weird, sitting in water warming, circular egg on your sammie. Yuck. Not this place. Also their prices are very reasonable! For a 12 pack of bagels it's only around 9 or 10 bucks. A BEC will only run you $4. And a lunch sammie around $5. For fresh food! Like other's have mentioned they do offer a wide variety of bagel options and cream cheese options so no matter if you are looking for savory or sweet, you will be able to find something you like here and even get a little creative. Combining the fact that I'm a college student constantly craving new bagel creations, being a manager at the McDonald's across the street from this place will be the death of me. Seriously. Don't tell my doctor; she told me to stay away from spicy things because of acid reflux...but I eat these way more often than I should. And don't even THINK about me getting me started on cinnamon rolls! As a high schooler, I frequented Bruegger's bagels. Bagels are my love. I would move to New York City simply to eat bagels every morning. However, Everything Bagels makes me want to stay home and eat bacon, egg & provolone bagels every morning for the rest of my life.
