Khan den beef good I would give owner a chance to make a good dish for yo! Was fresh and good ! Good service

Came in on a really slow Sunday. Buffet was at a minimum. I also got here close to closing time. Definitely want to try it at a better time. Ordered my favorites to go. Fried rice, egg rolls, and Lo Mein. I think it'll be good. Update in a bit. Looks pretty good! Well simple explanations. Fresh rice, crispy egg rolls and wontons. Really tasty. Filled my craving. I look forward to trying their buffet. Good spot! I'll be back. read more

I ordered the egg drop soup and the beef fried rice. Both were tasteless and the rice were dry with a very few pieces of beef. And considering the cost of $19 way overprice for what I had. Yep inflation has hit and quality of food went way down. There isn't a star for this except to say a negative 2. Don't be fooled by the writing on the window. It's the Everspring. Lesson learned. read more

Food was exceptional. Pot stickers were very good. My fave was the General Tsao chicken. Sauce was excellent. Service okay. Ambience okay. 5 stars because food was so good. read more

Smells bad. Food listed on menu not actually available. Food served on styrofoam plates despite dining in. Tasteless. Slow service. read more

Terrible food. Orange chicken was just heat up frozen chicken with sauce over it. Pepper steak had no flavor and it looked like they used minute rice. read more

Everspring Chinese Buffet - Terrible food - Chinese Near Me - Artesia, New Mexico

I'm so upset over going to this place! My bestie and I drove from Roswell to Artesia for lunch. We were practically the only customers in there and it took extremely long to be waited on. Even when we did order our food it took a very long time. The worse part about the whole experience is we were served on STYROFOAM PLATES! STYROFOAM PLATES! I would never ever recommend this place. Oh and my bill for two plates, two egg rolls and wonton, $50! Omg! Not worth the time energy or money! I could have got a better meal from Panda Express! read more

Went to get Togo beef fried rice for my husband & I, got back to our motel, started eating before he got home, found atleast 3 hairs in my food. Just got back from getting other dinner options. I should've listened to the reviews. read more

Everspring Chinese Buffet - a person holding a fork - Chinese Near Me - Artesia, New Mexico

asked for fried rice got white and then the sesame chicken is like a soup not even syrup like and yea place is not what it says it is

My friend and I came to eat here. We chose the buffet and served ourselves. We weren't done with half of our first plate, when my friend found several hairs in his food. We both stopped eating, we were disgusted. The owner apologized, but when it was time to pay, I got charged full price and my buddy didn't get charged. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

I wish I could leave ZERO stars, they messed ip my order pretty much all the way. The food is overpriced dog food, $60 for 3 entrees and has to be the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Do Not Eat Here! read more

Always clean with great service and good food. The building is older but the family that runs this restaurant are wonderful people and I'm happy to support their business. A small locally owned restaurant worthy of trying. read more

This has got to be the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten at. We came in on a Sunday and had the buffet (which was overpriced). There was no seasoning on any of the food and everything was old. You can tell the food has been sitting out for hours. It caused the meats to be rubbery. Don't even waste your time eating the buffet. read more

Staff is friendly and they make great food to go I would recommend ordering off the menu very fresh veggies I will definitely be returning to this special restaurant read more

A delicious Chinese buffet with a lot of vegetarian choices, plus a gracious host who ran us through the entire buffet spread to tell what we could or couldn't eat and then went onto make a fresh tofu side from the dinner menu complimentary since we couldn't eat all the meat on the buffet. It definitely made our day! Service : ***** Food: **** read more

Have tried this place 3 times! The staff is very sweet and wants to please. It's so unfortunate that the restaurant is dirty (I was scared to know what the smears on the wall next to our table were) and the food is poor quality. All 3 visits have yielded everspringing diarrhea. They do have a Buffett area where you can choose your own cold ingredients and have them fried up Mongolian style. It's a long long wait when it goes into the kitchen, but the wait might balance out the after affect, considering it's freshly cooked up. read more

Gave this place 2 stars because the wait staff were very friendly and were extremely attentive. Unfortunately the food was not so great. The food seemed old and the orange chicken was hard and dry as a rock. This place needs a whole new menu and restaurant make over. All the meat selections were fried and the fried rice was just white rice with speckles of carrot, what the heck?? I was looking for some teriyaki chicken but none to be found. Once I got my plate I was scared to eat more. $12 for lunch? Here? Waaay over priced! About an hour after eating, bubble guts to the max.....yay...not fun. Save your hard earned money and dine somewhere else. I ignored the other reviews and now regret it. read more

Food was wonderful. Not a fan of buffets but this is where our group picked for dinner. I was very surprised with all the meet choices, lots of shrimp. They also had Mongolian BBQ, wow was that hot. Good thing the tea was flowing. Plates were removed as soon as we were done and the drinks tea kept coming. Great service. read more

This is one of our favorite places to order takeout! We enjoyed the General Tso's and the lemon chicken. We also get the fried dumplings extra crispy. We haven't eaten in the restaurant but we really enjoy the food! read more

With all things considered, this town is extremely small and there are very few decent restaurants. With that said do you to the geographic location of this venue, the stars have increased in retrospect with major cities like Dallas, NYC, LA. Overall the food is decent. The venue decor is very basic to none. The staff is polite and quiet. Quick to seat. Always seats open when you go on. Buffet is $12 or so all you can eat. Open everyday except Saturday's (odd) No bugs found Never gotten sick read more

Under new ownership. Now Kwan Den Restaurant. Food much, much better. Clean and smells clean. Varied menu includes fresh and hot buffet and menu items available. Only thing I wished they had is a Mongolian Grill for custom made dishes. Oh well, the good buffet makes up for it!!! read more

Food was undercooked and pretty sure it was still moving...threw up blood after. I'm literally at a loss for words

So not sure what the name of the restaurant is anymore, Kwan Den or Eversprings. Either way DO NOT come in after lunch time, not that I think lunch time would be any better. The food on the buffet is cold and old. When my wife asked the owner if she could bring out some fresh food the owner said "it's not lunch time anymore, and if you want fresh food order off the menu." We came in at 1:30, so not to far after lunch. It's a shame, but we will not be coming back to this place EVER. read more

Everspring Chinese Buffet - Old and cold - Chinese Near Me - Artesia, New Mexico

This place rocks! This is a Chinese Buffett that is actually hot, fresh, and of high-quality no matter when you get there, unlike some in the world where if you don't arrive when the steam table is first set-out you get some older food. The Onion Shrimp is awesome. Actually, pretty much to die-for, if you ask me. They have all the chicken dishes you can think of, BBQ beef (Bulgogi-style), ribs, noodle dishes, veggie dishes, everything you need. Fish dishes too, for those fans of the sea. The only thing wrong with this restaurant is that it's located 450 miles from me, but you can bet I'll be back whenever I'm in Artesia, NM again. read more

Yesterday for dinner, food was not hot, only warm, and mostly not very tasty, price for two was $26.50. Won't go back. Waitress wasa pleasant, but that didn't help the food. read more

Aside from the food being terrible, they only offer limited choices. Everything was poor quality. I tried giving it a chance but I could not find a single item I could at least tolerate. Go elsewhere! read more

Frankly I was underwhelmed, but it's hard to judge since we got there so late - all the food had clearly been sitting around for a while. Frankly it was a bit gross, but they were open late and they get points for that. The service was a little abrupt but always there when we needed it. I can't say for sure, but it seems like the food could have been quite good 6 hours earlier when it was made. For this reason I give 4 stars instead of 3. A nice dessert selection is an unexpected and nice addition. read more

During Christmas, most of the restaurants are generally closed and we usually have a tough time getting food (& that too vegetarian diet!) during our outings. Luckily, for us, we were very glad to see this place open on that day. They had a buffet with many non-vegetarian items, but the owner was really very kind and gracious to make us a vegetarian dishes and that too for no additional charge!! She spent time with us going over every item in the buffet and pointing us to the ones that were indeed veggie. I would say the veggie options we tried was really very good. They were spring rolls, potato fry, Chinese donuts, bread, flat noodles, rice, thin noodles, boiled egg and the special tofu dish that she prepared for us. Everything was really yummy - i just loved the Chinese donuts, potatoes and the bread - simply delicious. For desserts, there was a chocolate mousse, cake, jelly and banana coated in a sweet sauce. The desserts were simply the best - so tasty that you just can't resist all that sugar!! A big thanks to the lady who helped us that day - your customer service is excellent!! read more

One of the best tasting chinese buffets I've experienced, and I have been to several buffets in San Diego, Los Angeles, and most recently Tucson, Az.. Not a great variety of dishes but good quality for the few they do have. Probably the best dining experience you'll have in all of Artesia especially, if your from out of town. read more

Food had a smoky flavor like burnt copper. Atmosphere creepy. Service unremarkable. First time yelp has steered me completely wrong in NM. Don't do it. read more

The service is really great. The food is worth a try. It's a standard buffet. I can't say that it wowed me but it's nice to have some variety in artesia. I had the broccoli beef and the orange chicken. Both were good. I liked their rice and the crab Rangoon was good. Nothing fabulous but I liked it. No complaints. read more

I live in Artesia this was a fairly decent Chinese restaurant a few years ago but it kind of went downhill now under new management the people that used to own a different Chinese restaurant that was located at the Pecos inn we know them they closed the restaurant at the Pecos inn we did not know what happened but it had something to do with the hotel they have really good food and they were very hard-working people and we respect them we are very happy that they have taken over everspring and are looking forward to eating there regularly read more

Omg....DO NOT EAT HERE! Fair warning, food poisoning! I thought it was just my meal but it wasnt. My coworker had gotten it as well in the same day. Never again will I eat here. No sanitation. read more

I don't know what I just ate but it was not Chinese food! I was cold, hungry and desperate as I traveled the long New Mexico roads this rainy night looking for some kind of restaurant to sit and eat. And there it was, an "open" sign in an otherwise dark and closed Main Street. "A beacon of hope", I thought as I pulled in imagining all familiar Chinese dishes I thought were impossible to mess up. But as I entered I realized I was wrong for the fist time that night, but I was too tired to retreat back to my car and I figured this had to at least be better than fast food? I mean really how can you mess up Chinese? This would be the second time I was wrong tonight. The food was old, cold and a sad imitation of its once proud heritage; much like I was when I left the establishment. I'm also 60% sure there was a fly in my egg drop soup. I would soon understand my third mistake of the night as I sulked back to my car to continue on my drive, full of mistakes and shame or as I'm sure the restaurant owners would call "food", I saw my ultimate punishment a few blocks on the same street. An IHOP stood there bright and clear as only hindsight could present it. Basically the short if it is: Skip this place there's an IHOP down the ways! read more

While it's not terrible, I would say that it is not the best chinese place in Artesia. The food is usually in large quantity and hot, but the flavors are lacking. Evidently they get a good price on shrimp because there is an over proportionate amount of shrimp dishes than chicken, beef or pork. While I like shrimp, it's almost too much. I would agree with a previous poster that the onion shrimp is definitely a good choice, and their crab wontons are pretty tasty too. We eat there, but I prefer the other choice in Artesia for chinese. read more

Just ate take out from this place. I ordered the General Tso chicken with fried rice and egg rolls. The chicken and egg rolls were really good! The fried rice still needed some additional frying time...the flavor could have been a bit better with a little more frying time. Overall, I would definitely eat here again! read more

Ugh. Had to leave because everything on buffet was lukewarm at best. Looked like food had been there since lunch but I was there for dinner :( I've never left a restaurant without eating, but was afraid of the bacteria that had to be breeding due to improper food temps. read more

Honestly, I feel terrible for writing a one-star review but if any place in Artesia deserves it, it's this place. I came in with a friend about 2:30-ish last weekend and there was only one employee to serve us. Not that that was a big deal, since there were only about four or five other couples/families in the entire place. However, the food had been left out for at least a couple of hours. None of it looked appetizing, but it was a Sunday, and there weren't too many other options in Artesia. Also, I was starving. So I got a heaping scoop of rice on my place, a veggie spring roll, mashed potatoes (weird, right?), and a plethora of other Chinese and definitely non-Chinese food piled onto my plate. I probably only ate a few bites before I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. We left and I paid for us, and the total was around $25-30, which I didn't complain about in person, but jeez, $15 each for only a few bites each? I will not be going back. read more
