It's not the fanciest joint in the universe, sure, but this is the BEST Chinese place in Roswell if you want quick service, huge portions, and fresh food that is unbeatable in value. Me and my wife call the "Dinner" plates "Lunch, Dinner, and Late Night Snack" plates because the amount of food you get is incredible. We found this place totally on accident just looking for a place as we were passing through Roswell on a trip and we have been going back ever since. We love this spot. The portions are large and are enough for 3 adult meals. The shrimp lo mein is loaded with shrimp and is our favorite. We tried the pork fried rice and the pork was ok, some pieces were a little dry. Great customer service, great price, awesome portions. When in Roswell on a Sunday afternoon there is not many choices for vegetarian food but one - Beijing Restaurant. I thought that place had a dine in so was confused when the front door was closed after calling and being told that place is in deed open. I ended up walking to the drive through & was greeted w a huge smile & giggle from the sweetest woman. She was so giggly & genuine it immediately put a smile on my face. I ordered the veggie delight & partner ordered shrimp something. We parked in the back behind a tree & she brought the food to us within 10 minutes. Both dishes looked the same which was rice, broccoli, onions & mushrooms but his had shrimp but the amount was ginormous, I mean it felt like I had 3 lbs of food on my lap. The place looked closed and somewhat abandoned on the exterior, but I called and they were open. Their credit card machine was down necessitating a trip to an ATM on the way. The interior looked run down and was uncomfortably warm. We ordered some appetizers to go. They were okay, but the crab rangoons were very skimpy, with barely anything inside. The lady behind the counter kept sneezing, wiping her nose with her Kleenex and then not washing her hands. Visiting Roswell. Great website. Put in order. Excited and showed up to what appeared to be a totally abandoned building. Worn out signs. Chairs on tables, one old, likely broke-down car in the lot and no discernable lights on. I was grateful the website didn't require advance payment! The next day I drive by and saw the same scene with one small " open" light on a drive through side of building. Of course I wondered if I'd missed this sign and misunderstood how this small town biz operates. Perhaps someone in a back kitchen made our meals and we never picked them up! likely the locals know and someone touring through had no idea thinking it was a defunct biz. I recommend the owner be more obvious of being open, some instruction on website that is clear? A big sign on the door or in window? Keep a good light on? Never got to try the food. Looks like a run down place from outside but you HAVE to eat here. Good food, typical Chinese menu and each dish is made to order. The owners are very nice people and the portions are huge- my husband and I usually order a different meal and share and we still get 3 meals each! So we thought we'd try this place for fun, and if you're looking for a sketchy adventure, then this is what you're looking for. We weren't sure if it was open, but they were waiting for us when we walked in. The lady at the counter was super sweet and helpful, eager to serve. Food was quick and hot, but we were pretty sure the orange "chicken" and sesame "chicken" had the same sauce, but the sesame chicken did have sesame seeds on it. It was pretty bland and flavorless - not yucky, but definitely not delicious. I would compare this to a high school cafeteria fare, but that would be insulting to the high school. Only positive thing was the large portion! Restaurant was pretty dirty and run down, probably hasn't passed an inspection since 1932, and looks like it will fall down any second. This place is a hole in the wall. The sweet older woman that took our order was so sweet. Right away she knew I'd never been before! The line was super long but the food was worth the wait. Quality and quantity best describes this fast food joint. They don't have the selection or variety like panda, but the quality and quantity surpasses. I like everything on the menu. My favorite is the Happy Family, beef, chicken and shrimp with mixed vegetables.The portions are huge, enough to feed 2 people. Come with an empty stomach or take the leftovers to go. The restaurant itself does look like a blast from the past. This used to be a fosters freeze and it seems like the owner just left it that way. Tried this tonight, fyi there entrees do not come with an egg roll also learned that the fried rice offered is egg fried rice. So we ordered #1, #23 & # 27 and 3 egg rolls, it was a tons of food however both chicken dishes were exactly the same, no veggies in either, the chicken was good the rice is well rice no flavor, my husband got pepper beef he liked it,well cooked peppers and onions. Lemon Chicken and sweet and sour chicken are my favorite dishes. Because they are both all white meat, fried in a tempura batter. You get 2 dishes in one, when you order the sauce on the side. Sweet and sour and Lemon sauce....excellent.!! Lemon Chicken is the best. Don't let the rough exterior run you off. This building is old, it was a Taste Freeze in the mid 80s. The General Tso's chicken can be tough to chew through in some bites and isn't always consistent in taste. The rice is alright. I really like their egg drop soup but you might find something questionable in it. Their spring rolls are good, well portioned. We drove up and the sign post is completely rusted out. 5 gallon white buckets line the side walk. I should have turned around then. The wallpaper inside is yellowed and peeling. It's dirty and greasy inside. Nothing about the exterior or interior shows pride of ownership. The man at the counter was the only redeeming quality. He was friendly and fun. We chose to dine in. The food was served in styrofoam boxes with plastic forks. The food was plain and boring. The Asian woman cooking was yelling at her co-workers the whole time we were in there. Finally tried here and was impressed with the portion size for the price. Crab Rangoons were tasty, but sweet and sour chicken was pretty bad- sauce was good but the chicken was hard, greasy, and dry. Not burnt but really hard like it was over cooked, and the chicken inside was super dry. Even the soda was flat. But the sweet and sour sauce was good and the brown rice (was surprised it was brown) was well cleaned and didn't have the dirt taste it has in many other places. Big complaint though, which is why they get only 1 star, is that I'm quite sick from this food. Nothing like a horrible burning that's trying to escape the body by any means to give a clear sign that I will never get food from here again read more

Flys in my food, filth everywhere, furniture is stained, sticky and torn. The rice was very crunchy. I think they use vegetable oil to season instead of the traditional sesame oil. This is not the best Chinese food I've ever had but it will do in a pinch. Their fried rice is simply that; no veggies, no eggs. Their potstickers and eggrolls are really good. I was disappointed in their lemon chicken since it is just the sweet-n-sour chicken with a diiferent sauce. I usually get the pepper steak which is decent. They are open until 10 pm and have a drive thru which is a big bonus for me. Their portions are humongus. I've had three meals off one order. I have been inside the place and it's old and needs a remodel. It was obviously something else before but nothing disgusting. They've always been friendly. read more

I almost gave this restaurant three stars because the food, while decent, wasn't anything spectacular (I had the Hunan Delight and an egg roll), but I added a star for the price. I can't believe the amount of food I got for under $10. After I ate until I couldn't eat anymore, there was enough left to feed at least two more people (and I'm not known for having a small appetite). The food is good, the prices and portions are fantastic. I've been twice in the last few weeks. Both times I ordered the Happy Family, first time with an order of shrimp fried rice, which was a mistake due to the fact that I walked out with what felt like five pounds of (very tasty) food. While the place has seen some better days, the food more than makes up for it. $9 will get you 2-4 tasty meals, depending on how hungry you are, and for this kind of quality, that's very hard to beat. Although there portion size are great for the price! I think the quality of food isn't as good. I always get orange chicken and I get it delivered. They are really great with the delivery and on the weekends is when there probably the most busiest. If your thinking about switching rice for noodles they charge (I haven't been to a Chinese restaurant that charges for noodles instead of rice, but okay). Also there noodles weren't as great. There egg rolls are really good though! I definitely recommended that. I had their lemon chicken once, and it was not a traditional lemon chicken. I think it's an overall alright Chinese place to eat. Just be aware weekends you may be waiting for like an hour for your food if you want a delivery. read more
