So glad we found Rain Proof Roofing. Although our situation was really no big deal(cover to attic), I suggested to my husband to hire someone to do the work because when my husband last fixed the problem, it didn't hold up, apparent the guys who fixed and cleaned our roof last year didn't nail it down either, and the strong wind we had for a minute yesterday tore it up, and flew off. So he made an appointment for someone to come out today. We're sure having a professional fix our problem it'll stay on for sure. The review on yelp were also promising. So our appt was with Matt. While my husband was interacting with Matt, he wore his mask, social distanced himself, and totally professional. I was watching via our cameras. Matt basically just went up the roof, fixed the problem in seconds. He didn't charge us because he felt it was an easy fix. What integrity! In how the World is today we need more people, businesses like this. So now we look no further whenever we need work done to our roof, or need a new one. Thanks Matt!

I could tell you how he -- completely unsolicited --offered to walk through the report in person with me whenever I got into Washington for the home sale. But Y'ALL. Let me tell you instead how I called this guy nearly TWO YEARS AFTER THE INSPECTION in a panic during the last big freeze when an exterior hose bib failed. Why? Because a) the water company had come through and updated the water meter, changing the look of the main shut-off (rendering my limited experience with the valve totally useless), and b) no plumber would come out, since they were responding to 19,383,629 other freeze-related emergencies. I expected NOTHING from this guy at this point: it was the hailiest of Hail Mary's. Instead, I got a quick "I'm on my way" from him. WHAT?!? When he got there, found another shut-off, and kept me from going without water (and my house from floating away on its own plumbing-failure river), my shriveled little Grinchy heart DID grow three sizes that day! J is good people doing good work. I will never work with anyone else for home inspections.

Orca was NOT the cheapest option nor the most expensive option, they ended up being middle of the road. I decided to go with them because Chris was VERY THOROUGH and explained EVERYTHING to me. The crew came out and knocked it out of the park, literally took them 2.5 days and it was done. This was back in June 2025, we are currently in the heart of winter and have had some serious rainy days and EVERYTHING's been GREAT, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES! Fast forward to February 2026, I was so impressed by their service and workmanship I called them when the roof at my own house started to leak. (The leak was NOT because of age but the shotty workmanship from our builder Connor Homes.) I spoke to Chris again and he set me up with Peter. Peter and crew came out and temporarily covered my roof until they are able to get me in the books. Peter and crew came back in about a week and took care of my roof. The entire process took about 2 days and literally 3 days after they were done we had a crazy rain storm. Once again, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES. Orca Roofing is 2 for 2 with me, priced right and took care of my roof issues. There are not too many trustworthy businesses these days but I can honestly vouch for these guys. Thank you for taking care of my roof issues and now I can actually sleep at night.
