Luke, the owner, talks a good game (confident salesman) but if you get other estimates you'll find that he is SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive (40% in one case) than his competitors. He claims this is because he uses a "better product" but I saw the product he uses in his truck (manufacturer label) and it was the EXACT same product the other competitors quoted. Plus he DOES NOT have a valid contractor license, nor is he insures. Buyer beware. read more

Look, I know you don't know me, but I'm gonna need you to trust me. :-) Luke and his team are AWESOME!!! Hiring him is the best decision you'll make all day, all month, maybe even all year. In July 2023 he re-did my ugly sunburned pool deck/patio and turned it into a stunning backyard that I am absolutely thrilled about. All along the way he demonstrated clear communication, met and matched all time/job commits and did what and when he said he was going to do. All for a fair price. He helps with color selection and uses his artistic talent to deliver you exactly what you didn't even know was possible. I definitely recommend Luke!! P.S. I live in Folsom... not San Francisco, Not sure why it says I am there. (shrug) P.P.S. - I just read other reviews and want to make one additional point. Power washing is a dirty job. The dirt goes EVERYWHERE. As much as they try to tape off your yard, they can't protect everything. To avoid any surprises... here are a few things to keep in mind... 1. Move everything off your patio and move it far, far away. Power wash spray travels a long way. 2. Plants on the edges of your project will take a beating. Perhaps place an upside down plastic bucket, or 5 gal nursery can or something similar to protect any plants that you don't want battered to death. Even a large trash can for larger plants, or wrap in frost cloth. In my case, I am learning the hard way - I have some plants that are victims of the power spray. They will die. Can't be helped. I don't blame Luke in the slightest - I should have predicted this and protected them. 3. Your pool is going to get funky. Dirt and paint will get in there, Can't be helped. After you let your project dry, you will need to scrub all the dirt down to the bottom for your robot vacuum to clear and run your filters for hours (maybe even days) to get it clean again. Nothing you can do about it - that's just the way it is. If that bothers you, maybe look into getting a cheap cut-to-shape bubble pool cover that you can lay on top, and then throw away after the job. 4. If your project also means washing a flagstone or rock patio that has polymetric sand in the joints - well - power washing removes big chunks of it. Nothing you can do to prevent that. I'm planning on refilling after it is all dry. Luke is a GREAT guy and you will not be sorry you hired him to make your home look beautiful! read more

We hired Everlasting design guys to stain our concrete. I wish I would read other reviews before we hired them. They are not fake as I figured now. Luke sounds like nice guy, who loves what he does, but unfortunately they were not able to meet our expectations. They gave as a quote that was 60% -70% higher that market rate and it was not worth it as we will hire another company to redo it. While they pressure washed the concrete, everything else around including outdoor furniture got dirty as they did not cover it. While they sealed it my plants were not covered. This should not be like that. When I came to check out the work and looked through the window, I thought that they didn't even start the job. I am attaching picture to show the final result with 8 layer coating that they applied to it. My concrete didn't change much and is not smooth at all after the job was done. I am still wondering what Luke meant when he said that our backyard will look beautiful? Unfortunately It did not turned out this way. read more

To be fair, the work they did looks good and I've been 95% happy with the way it turned out. My issue, and the reason I'm leaving this review is the way I was handled after the job was done. Luke was super nice, fast, and accommodating before and during the work. When I contacted him after it was done with some questions and concerns, that's when things broke down. I noticed a couple of spots on the driveway where the stain had lifted off. I contacted Luke to see if he would do something to come out and do some touch up. He originally told me the stain would last several years, but the spots appeared after less then one. NO PROBLEM! I understand things happen. I wasn't even upset. Based on Luke's attitude before the work was done, I fully expected a "no problem, I'll get out there." I think a "freebee" touch up is reasonable, but would likely have paid to have it made right again. I'm easy! Luke gave me the "no problem," but only after a few calls and texts. He was slower and slower to reply and then just didn't do anything. He told me he would send someone out, but didn't. He stopped calling or texting me back. I rarely leave a bad Yelp, but I found Luke on here and chose him based on his good reviews. It would have been nice to have a review like this one to give me the whole possible picture. read more

We had approximately 8,000 sq.ft. of stamped concrete that was peeling and looking horrible. Luke and his crew did a fantastic job restoring everything to better than new condition and added anti-slip into the mix for the area around our pool and areas with a slope. Luke used top of the line materials and applied many coats to achieve the excellent finished product and leave us with a lasting finish. I have never seen a crew work this hard to get a job done in a timely manner. They arrived on time, kept in communications with us so that we knew the status of the project, and protected our plants, structures, etc by masking off and wrapping the areas. read more

Unhappy with their work. Unsure how my review was changed to positive words. Many years later, tile in our pool is still stained because of their lack of care. In addition, they were not careful with spray in front driveway and sprayed our front door. The chrome handle & door has a layer of the stain that we cannot take off. We had asked them to come back & fix these things, and one guy came back for 30 minutes. He told us he would be back and we never saw him again. read more

He was a very slick fast talker and when I asked about product application all he could do is say I volunteered at church as you can trust me. He applied a small amount to show me and I was very clear it was absolutely the WRONG color and I said no. He said he would fix and we could review. He came back and did one large area and said it's the only way I can do it, it will fade out in a few years. He left and someone else in his crew did the job. The next day Luke returned in muddy boots and walk in my main area leaving muddy foot prints that took off the color. So these foot prints are part of my patio. He said I'll fix it in a few weeks then never answered my calls. Next time I was able reach him he said I'm in Hawaii and your job is not something I can fix so don't call me. I asked for a refund and never got any response. My paint began to fade and peel almost immediately and I was not ever having him back. Meanwhile he went onAngie's list and wrote a review and signed my name I couldn't get them to take it down. This guy Luke, does not deserve your business. Even though his mail box was full and did call me back. However, I found Luke to be rude and unwilling to hear fully what I wanted to say. Any business would at least hear out what a potential client would want even if they were initially wanting to do a DIY project but has reservations in doing it themselves. Luke gave me no chance to explain other than asking me point blank if I wanted to do the project myself. I replied that I would like to but didn't have a chance to finish before Luke told me to go talk to someone else and get the information from them. Luke did not even hint at letting me know what his service could do or offer to me. From a sales standpoint I have met several people who would love to do a project themselves but neither has the means or the knowhow to do so. This guy may have the market even cornered on a design in the Sacramento area, I just don't know but he does not control the word of mouth and who else this complaint gets out to. Luke Williams appears to know what he is doing. However, his work does not last. He refinished the concrete in my back yard about a month ago. It is peeling everywhere. To date he has not returned any of my phone calls. He takes cash only, which should have been a red flag for me. I looked further into his business and discovered he does not have a contractor's license as required by law in California. He also does not possess general liability insurance so if one of his workers gets hurt on your property, you are liable. We had our concrete redone by this company. The owner came out and was very courteous but there were problems from day one. Our concrete had splotches which we were told was related to smoke in the air when it dried. To there credit they came and redid a few of the patches. Unfortunately with the first rain the splotches came back. On top of it the sealer they use makes the concrete very slick when wet...scary slick. We have called multiple times with no call back. We had a great experience with Luke and Jim staining and sealing our driveway and front walk. They were incredibly friendly, first of all, and aimed to please, to do exactly what we wanted them to do. Luke created a sample square so we would be comfortable with the color.
