Shelly and Rick helped create an environment in which our wedding was beyond a dream. They felt…read morelike a part of the family. They were there when we needed them, they let us have control when we needed them, and were behind the scenes making sure everything went perfectly. I could not have asked for a better venue or a better team supporting us. When you book them, you get the whole weekend to set up, have the wedding, and clean up. Shelly gives unrestricted access to her rooms full of decorations, direction on where to go to get everything you need for the big day, and makes sure to help fill in any gaps you may have missed. She is like a second wedding planner but knows when to back off if she is not needed. Rick helped coordinate the ceremony and got the ball moving whenever it was time for each step to take place. He was irreplaceable during our rehearsal and our wedding would not have gone as smoothly without him. Would not recommend any one else to support you during your big day!

We were so excited to have the same server from the night before because she rocks & now I'm bummed that we can't recall her name. But everyone loved their food. I got the Country Benny & my husband got the Benny Madame. We also shared a caraffe of cranberry mimosas. So so so good! When she did finally look up she didn't say I'm sorry for the delay, or apologize or anything. Just looked at us like we were just an annoyance in her life at that time. She had an attitude and was NOT friendly at all! She didn't smile and was very rude! My friend asked her what time would the bar open? Her response was NEVER, again friend asked will it ever open and her response was NOPE. I will never stay there again. Honestly, we went in and out a lot and not once did we see her smile in the 2 days of staying there. It would probably be in your best interest for your hotel by getting rid of her. I didn't catch her name because she didn't have a badge on. She was working the desk on Monday the 23rd of March at 4:00 in the afternoon. I could give a description of her but maybe you can figure out who she was by the date and time. Also, if you advertise a bar it should be open. Ridiculous!!!! I'm sure this will never make it to the right people because it looks like there are a lot of complaints about the check in process.

Not only is it located perfectly off I-27 but it is the PERFECT place to have a wedding. It was like a large cottage (in my opinion) with huge ceilings that brought in the Texas sun from different angles during the day, large OPEN space that was turned from guest seating, aisle, etc to a dining hall! Again how convenient! Beautiful white tapestries that graced the floor- such an airy feeling..it literally was whimsical. The area that the bridesmaid got ready (back area) was the perfect nook for a large crowd of women & then some to get ready so you know it was a huge space! Let's talk restrooms-BEAUTIFUL! And more than 1 stall! Lol I couldn't have been more pleased and in awe of the space provided for the event and each detail matched perfectly to the wedding plans. I didn't have much interaction with any staff -they allowed the wedding coordinator to do her thang but I did see them and their smiles were so warm so If I needed to ask anything they would have gracious and willing to assist. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to each couple's needs. It is the largest in the area, so the event can easily be moved inside when the weather is a bit uncooperative. Don't normally write bad reviews unless it's an absolute horrible experience, so here we go…read more First: Checkin took 30 min, the clerk seemed confused. Said my room type was oversold and asked if I could be flexible to change, so I agreed. Second: was on the 8th floor, and only 1 of 3 elevators worked. Needless to say that wait was forever, every day. Third: On my third night, the only working elevator was in "test" mode, according to the manager and was off limits, with no answer of when testing would be completed. So I walked 8 flights of stairs.....got my steps in! Fourth: received my bill via email on the morning I checked out, when I was already at my office and was overcharged by $300, due to the room type change. That was not explained to me when the room type was changed at check-in. And what is more odd as the fact that the room type was a downgrade, and I was still charged more! Fifth: I tried calling the hotel to work out. The wrong charges in the hotel. Phone line was busy, just received a busy signal. So I had to go back to the hotel in person to dispute the charges. Sixth: the hotel manager listen to my explanation and honored my original charge, which was the right thing to do. After I went ahead and told her the other issues of the hotel, she said she would just get those fixed and never apologized. The entire time I was here with all of the challenges not one staff member actually said "I'm sorry". I will never stay here and I would never recommend anyone to stay here. It's not harsh for me to say that this place operates like a joke.
