They were there when we needed them, they let us have control when we needed them, and were behind the scenes making sure everything went perfectly. I could not have asked for a better venue or a better team supporting us. When you book them, you get the whole weekend to set up, have the wedding, and clean up. Shelly gives unrestricted access to her rooms full of decorations, direction on where to go to get everything you need for the big day, and makes sure to help fill in any gaps you may have missed. She is like a second wedding planner but knows when to back off if she is not needed. Rick helped coordinate the ceremony and got the ball moving whenever it was time for each step to take place. He was irreplaceable during our rehearsal and our wedding would not have gone as smoothly without him. Would not recommend any one else to support you during your big day!

This is the 2nd time I have made reservations here. This has been a few years apart because the…read morefirst was awful. The food was circling with fruit flies, gnats or whatever they were. I thought well maybe it's a one time, so I pushed my fork and knife in and moved my food a bit when I did that and they just seemed to multiply right out of my food. I got so nauseous that I had to use their facilities to vomit because I seriously got sick. It's very dim and I guess it would be nice as a romantic ambiance, but it bothers me to think it's to cover up what you can see. Idk. Pricey to have that happen. I really was hoping for a better experience since it was for a graduation dinner for my daughter. Now several years later.. a Mothers Day dinner for my daughter and I. I noticed some of the same little flying bugs are the glasses and lighting on the table. Then I saw my husband swatting away in front of him. I asked what he did that for he said I am swatting at the gnats! I said "Oh damn." To myself. My other daughter on the other side of the table was waving her hand around in front of her. I asked what was wrong she said "Mom there are gnats!" Well I was disappointed once again. We all got our food just a few minutes after that. I ordered the 10oz ribeye so I could take some home. I cut in, looked good. I went in to take a bite and noticed a long blonde hair sitting on my ribeye and across my potatoes then I noticed the gnats circling around. I was done. I called for the waitress and showed her my plate. She said she saw it and was very sorry. She took my plate showed someone else and took it back. I then got up went to the bathroom because I noticed a manager and another wait staff taking chairs to the back room. I stopped the manager told him to please let the kitchen know not to make another plate for me I would not be eating or taking it home. I told him I was very certain and to please not bring anything out for me. I then let him know about the gnats. He said he was aware and very sorry but around this time of year they have this problem and they can't seem to stop them. I said thank you and had to use their bathroom to get rid of what I threw up in my mouth after that. I'm sorry to say I won't be doing that again. For the price we paid for the rest and the almost $40 I would have paid for my plate added to that I was very very disappointed and relieved I didn't have to pay for my ribeye plate. Please get it right. Fix the problem, it shouldn't be like this especially when things are expensive as it is and for things to be this wrong on special occasions. This is one of the reasons I like better lighting where I eat. I do wish I had taken a picture of everything but to hear the waitress say she saw what I did, made it.

She had an attitude and was NOT friendly at all! She didn't smile and was very rude! My friend asked her what time would the bar open? Her response was NEVER, again friend asked will it ever open and her response was NOPE. I will never stay there again. Honestly, we went in and out a lot and not once did we see her smile in the 2 days of staying there. It would probably be in your best interest for your hotel by getting rid of her. I didn't catch her name because she didn't have a badge on. She was working the desk on Monday the 23rd of March at 4:00 in the afternoon. I could give a description of her but maybe you can figure out who she was by the date and time. Also, if you advertise a bar it should be open. Ridiculous!!!! I'm sure this will never make it to the right people because it looks like there are a lot of complaints about the check in process.

Not only is it located perfectly off I-27 but it is the PERFECT place to have a wedding. It was like a large cottage (in my opinion) with huge ceilings that brought in the Texas sun from different angles during the day, large OPEN space that was turned from guest seating, aisle, etc to a dining hall! Again how convenient! Beautiful white tapestries that graced the floor- such an airy feeling..it literally was whimsical. The area that the bridesmaid got ready (back area) was the perfect nook for a large crowd of women & then some to get ready so you know it was a huge space! Let's talk restrooms-BEAUTIFUL! And more than 1 stall! Lol I couldn't have been more pleased and in awe of the space provided for the event and each detail matched perfectly to the wedding plans. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to each couple's needs. It is the largest in the area, so the event can easily be moved inside when the weather is a bit uncooperative.
