Tom called us back within minutes, arranged to have his top guy, Gregg, come to our house and evaluate the damage. Gregg showed up, determined what was needed, and returned with a crew to clear the tree and debris, allowing us to access our home. This was all accomplished just 4 hours after the tree fell. They returned on the following day to take down the remainder of that tree and another tree that was destroyed. All debris was removed, the stumps ground down, the yard left immaculate. Plenty of them either took long to respond or came back with high estimates. Some companies didn't even respond at all. Joe and his team responded quickly and gave a really reasonable price. In addition to that, they were able to schedule the job the same day because they were in the area and got there within 2 hours. The crew of about 6 men chopped and removed the tree within 1.5 hours and cleaned up the area. By noon, everything was already done and gone. The stump remained but was treated for easy future removal. I was super impressed because I considered it a really big tree for Brooklyn standards, but they made it look so easy. Phenomenal job! Joe occasionally responds just enough to string me along, then disappears to chase new projects and new customers' money, while completely ignoring the work I already paid him for. His behavior is unprofessional, dishonest, and absolutely disgraceful. At this point, I've contacted officials, and my attorney will be handling this matter moving forward. He came with four other workers and Jeff was actively involved in helping them do the job and supervising them. The huge tree parts were carefully removed via pulleys and no damage was done to my neighbor's house due to the tight space they had. I explained the situation, and he apologized because he said my order was too small for a delivery (I only needed 5lbs), so I would have to pick up dry ice from their shop on E 88th Street. Cool, no problem. Next morning, 8:30 am, i went to business address to pick up 5lbs, and called Tony but he was stuck in rush hour traffic for another hour. He graciously offered to drop off dry ice to my hotel before noon, during their normal deliveries. Places like Rite Aid in my building started stocking up on ice. This company is on notice 24 hours and will deliver it to your home or business. This morning the very friendly employees were loading the freezer in my neighborhood. These are well stocked for the delivery men to pick up the ice for delivery when you need ice. I'm telling you that if you have a picnic or big celebration you will have plenty of ice and it's delivered to your door. I'm recommending!
