Carl is really bad at communicating. It's difficult to reach him over the phone, voicemail is full and never responds to emails. It's horrible from a business pov. He doesn't get his point across to his staff either as some don't even speak a little English. So that can easily lead to doing the wrong job. Which happened to me. I finally got a hold of Carl and he'd deflect, lie, or ignore. Absolutely not trustworthy. He also doesn't come at the scheduled time but he doesn't update you, so you'll just have to sit home and wait all day. Evergreen Tree Specialists are truly tree specialists. Carl, Edoardo and their crew were punctual, knowledgeable about the work to be done and it was done in a very professional manner. I was very impressed by them all. They knew to call the chipper truck at the right time and closed the block without any nuisance to the neighborhood. I was in the market of having 2 very large trees in close proximity to houses and around a deck removed. After calling several tree companies I decided to go with Evergreen Tree Specialists based on previous reviews and the reasonable price. The owner Carl was very assuring as I had worries about the deck being damaged. He was very reassuring along with Miguel who came to give me the estimate. Miguel came on a Sunday and told me how they would be removing the trees, saying it would take a day to a day and a half and said we would be back on Wednesday. They showed up on time and it was amazing to watch them work. They were very careful dropping down large pieces of tree trunk like they were floating on clouds. They finished the removal and cleanup all in 1 day. They left my yard spotless and even went into my 2 neighbors yard to clear debris. I would 100% recommend..
