But then they wouldn't come unless I met with them. For what?? It's in front of the house. There's no gate. Just go look at it! Josue from Premier Arborworks came, looked and got back to me. He said it's not even a tree. Just a tall bush (I'm blind). And he gave a reasonable price. He asked if I also wanted to have my magnolia tree pruned. Yes! It was really overgrown. We did haggle a bit. But we settled on a price for the 2 things that worked for us both. He came with an assistant and took care of it. No drama. When I went out to say hello, he pointed out that there were actually 2 that were falling over and one good one. Asked if he should take both that were leaning. I said yes. He didn't charge extra! That is such a wonderful surprise in 2026 when there are people who want to charge you for giving you your bill! This was fast, reasonably priced and most importantly, NOT stressful

Nice. No apology, no nothing. Just a "We can't show up." Totally disregarding other people's time. I ended up just calling the other company and within a few days, they completed the job. No hassle, no back-and-forth nonsense. My brother has a home in Long Island and we've already set up an appointment to remove a handful of trees. Do better, seriously. We paid them $7,000 -- a wildly overpriced amount -- but because they did a good job for us in 2022, we trusted them again. That trust was a huge mistake. It is now three months later and my yard is still in complete despair. The owner, Joe, specifically agreed to also remove the stump, and yet it still sits rotting in my backyard. Because of this, weeds have overtaken the space and my family hasn't been able to enjoy our backyard the entire summer. I have called, texted, and left voicemails multiple times. Joe occasionally responds just enough to string me along, then disappears to chase new projects and new customers' money, while completely ignoring the work I already paid him for. His behavior is unprofessional, dishonest, and absolutely disgraceful. At this point, I've contacted officials, and my attorney will be handling this matter moving forward.
