Tom called us back within minutes, arranged to have his top guy, Gregg, come to our house and evaluate the damage. Gregg showed up, determined what was needed, and returned with a crew to clear the tree and debris, allowing us to access our home. This was all accomplished just 4 hours after the tree fell. They returned on the following day to take down the remainder of that tree and another tree that was destroyed. All debris was removed, the stumps ground down, the yard left immaculate. The crew was on time, professional, completed the job and cleaned all of the debris away. They made sure that they went to my neighbor's house to clean any dusts that flew to their side as well. The job wasn't easy and my garage was right underneath the major branches. The tree trunk was sitting in a very narrow space as well. The crew tied a rope to every major branch and lowered it down with the best care they could. I am very happy with their service and the price was very reasonable. His quote, compared to the other 2 was the most reasonable. I called on a Wednesday and as soon as we agreed on the price, Carl and his team came in the following day to start working. Because we had a huge tree, it took his team a day just to cut it. They came back the next day (Friday) to pick up the rest of the logs, cleaned my backyard and even my neighbor's backyard since there were saw dusts everywhere. Then on Saturday they took out the stump (they had to bring in a special machine for this). It took them about 1.5 hours to get rid of the stump. My overall experience with this company was excellent! Carl and his team are professionals, honest, the price was reasonable (given the size of the tree and amount of labor they put into the job - it took 5 workers to do the job) and response time was quick. Carl was all about getting the job done. In fact he told me that he didn't want me to pay him until his job is completely done! I highly recommend Evergreen Tree Specialists for all your tree needs!

In addition to that, they were able to schedule the job the same day because they were in the area and got there within 2 hours. The crew of about 6 men chopped and removed the tree within 1.5 hours and cleaned up the area. By noon, everything was already done and gone. The stump remained but was treated for easy future removal. I was super impressed because I considered it a really big tree for Brooklyn standards, but they made it look so easy. Phenomenal job! Joe occasionally responds just enough to string me along, then disappears to chase new projects and new customers' money, while completely ignoring the work I already paid him for. His behavior is unprofessional, dishonest, and absolutely disgraceful. At this point, I've contacted officials, and my attorney will be handling this matter moving forward. He came with four other workers and Jeff was actively involved in helping them do the job and supervising them. Jeff is very easy to work with and everything he promised he would do was faithfully done. The huge tree parts were carefully removed via pulleys and no damage was done to my neighbor's house due to the tight space they had. He graciously offered to drop off dry ice to my hotel before noon, during their normal deliveries. Places like Rite Aid in my building started stocking up on ice. This company is on notice 24 hours and will deliver it to your home or business. This morning the very friendly employees were loading the freezer in my neighborhood. These are well stocked for the delivery men to pick up the ice for delivery when you need ice. I'm telling you that if you have a picnic or big celebration you will have plenty of ice and it's delivered to your door. I'm recommending!
