The best hot and sour soup I've ever tasted
    Thomas G.

Wonderful Chinese food when I arrived I only came in as it was right near the bus stop. The decor is not the reason to come here,it's the food. The hot and sour soup is one of the best, and could easily be registered as the cure for the common cold. Lunch special was filling and since I had a bad cold on my visit I was quite thankful for that soup. The sheer numbers of local business people coming here for food underlined it's quality

Watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, and pineapple. All ripe and fresh--$3.99

I recently moved a couple of blocks away and have eaten here 3 times already. Very clean inside, they actually listen to modifications(light oil--barely noticed any), they have brown rice, and best of all, they have fresh cut fruit for $3.99. In a food desert, it's awesome to have some precut, relatively cheap produce available. Standard Chinese food, but they do it well, and the customer service is excellent.

    Pork Egg Foo Young
    Morton F.

This is a garden-variety Chinese takeout in the Home Depot strip mall, just off Miller Road. I've never been here before, so since it's on the way back to the office from the yard waste dropoff, I stopped by to get lunch takeout. Service was pretty good. The lady behind the counter was smiling all the time. Also, it didn't take too long for them to prepare my order. Lunch specials are rather inexpensive at around $5 and change, and one does get a decent portion size for the money. The egg foo young was about average but what sets them a bit above the rest of the Chinese takeouts is they don't use the dreaded yellow fried rice.

China Dragon - Roast pork and broccoli lunch combo with egg roll

Best Chinese in this area. China Dragon is better than typical strip mall shopping Chinese. It has…read morea few tables inside. Even so most people get it to go. The food is cheap and not bad for price. About as good as Chinese from a strip mall can possibly be. It has the menus with all the numbers for the items. They have the usual kind of stuff. Has a few vegetarian choices. The best of these is the Bean Curd With Mushroom. It's $7.50 for a good amount. This only comes in the quart size. Along with mushrooms, it also comes with lots of broccoli. The tofu is slightly crispy. I would consider ordering from here again. It's best to get carryout. There's only a few tables inside and it's kind of sticky.

Not good. Was tricked again by Yelp with all these good reviews (now that I'm looking at them they…read morewere all a couple of years ago). My husband went to pick up some Chinese for our lunch and he said they were super rude to him. He almost walked out but we are determined to find a to go Chinese place in Wilmington. This place is cash only and apparently the lady was particular about what he gave her (wanted more change then $10 bills). Anyway got the food and he brought it back home. Lunch special was kind of small. I got the roast pork and broccoli. There wasn't that much meat which was mostly broccoli which was disappointing. The fried rice was just okay and the broccoli tasted old. We opted to pay 75 cents more to swap our can of soda (comes with combo) to an egg roll. The egg roll was just a frozen egg roll fried in very old oil. I was starving so I doused it in sauce and ate it anyway. I also had a bit of an allergic reaction eating the egg roll so maybe I'm allergic to what's in it or the oil they fried it in. Who knows. Not returning to this place thats for sure. Maybe DE just doesn't have good Chinese food in general.

Comes with the egg roll which I did not partake cuz this boy is getting chunky. Chicken: 2.75/5. The chicken meat was kinda stringy. The sauce lacked boldness in flavor - it was neither sweet nor salty nor tangy. Breading was soggy. Rice: 2.5/5 undercooked and crunchy, unfortunately. Wok Hei was mediocre at best. Their char siu pieces lacked any specific flavor. The shrimp was surprisingly the redemption factor of it. Broccoli: Two pieces, fresh Overall: 2.75/5. Will pass

It was different in a few ways, most notably it wasn't that run of the mill pink, green and white thing. Theirs was colorful and fun, great way to get my attention. And I liked that they were doing hot wings. I'm definitely down to try those however today I went with traditional Chinese. I got the Hot Pepper Chicken under the BBQ Specials and an egg roll. When the nice man handed me the bag it was heavy. When I got it home I saw why. It was packed with chicken and rice. At 5.79 I thought that was pretty awesome. And it was good and hot. Left my mouth with that tingling Szechuan sensation I've become obsessed with. I'm holding on to a star until I try the wings which comes with TEN different sauces. They even have Jerk Chicken on the menu. I would definately be curious to see what an Asian spin on a Jamaican classic would be like. Stay tuned for that review in the meantime good job China Wok!
