As always, the crew arrived on time and the work was done exactly as promised. We met with Kevin to discuss the tasks (cleaning yard; trimming trees and shrubs; weeding and moving plants; etc.). Sometimes Kevin has had a crew of 6 or 8; this year, it was three. The work was done by Kevin's nephew John plus Juanito and Benito. All worked diligently, taking only a short lunch break. As always, they listened to our requests and accommodated our wishes. John, when appropriate, offered helpful advice about possible options; he was consistently friendly and considerate and it was a pleasure to have his help. Years ago, we had used two other companies but were not satisfied. (One even had a worker who fell fast asleep in our yard after drinking at lunch!) We are so pleased to have found Kevin's Gardening Service and we will definitely continue to use them!

Tyler is one of the most knowledgable people I've ever met when it comes to plants. He had suggestions and answers to every question we threw his way. His communication was spot on, understood what we wanted, offered suggestions when we didn't and was super chill through the entire project. He even recommended a fantastic landscaper to boot. His fees and costs for plants were well within budget and he made sure nothing was a surprise. And if he shows up with a fruit tree, just take it. Trust us. Who knew a nectaplum was even a thing? So delicious... We could not be happier with Tyler's work. If you're looking for a designer, or just want to learn the scientific names of every plant in your backyard, Tyler is your guy. We had some ideas about what we wanted the yard to feel like and how we wanted to use it, and Terra not only helped up dial in the practical implementation, but saw things we definitely would not have and designed the space to make sure they were accounted for organically in the design and build (DRAINAGE, wow, we are blown away right now). We thought we knew what we wanted and just wanted someone to build, but Terra are experts in a way that deserves a mention. Michelle developed a incredible plan and was fantastic to talk to throughout the entire process (plant palate, landscape plan that was clear and completely transformed how we looked at the build) and Adam's team made install so easy. It felt seamless, and exceptionally deluxe to be taken care of like that (especially compared with our home renovations). Their attention to detail is outstanding - you get what you pay for. With how much time we've spent in the yard, it is incredible to watch the space grow and flourish. Thank you Terra!

He already works on my mom's garden, which is breathtakingly beautiful, and for my birthday she split the cost with me to have him work his magic at my house. I know very little about such things so I really trusted him and his vision, and I am so grateful. He was very attentive to my tastes and listen to my ideas. He often gave me options to choose which I liked best. Very quickly we were on the same page about all of the little things that would make me happy. When the first estimate was a little higher than my budget, he pared it down and we focused on the most important areas - and he was still able to make it totally beautiful. Keith was a pleasure. He has a quiet demeanor. He and his assistant were super respectful and it was clear right away that they really care about doing everything right. He stuck to the schedule, he worked super hard and it was immediately evident that he is someone who is very proud of his work, regardless of the size of the project. I'm actually saving money so I can hire him again to add some of the things that were outside the scope of last year's project. They installed an irrigation system and showed me how to program the timer, but honestly I haven't had to touch it. It just works. Everything grew. Everything still looks healthy and gorgeous. It's really the gift that keeps on giving. I'm really proud of my garden, and it really is the result of Keith's vision, Keith's design and Keith's implementation. He's SO GOOD! You should call him and get on his schedule because I imagine he's pretty busy making magic happen :-)

Most importantly, as you can see from the pictures, they did excellent work.
