I showed her photos of the spaces and we grabbed carts and she gave us easy choices and loaded us up! We bought 26 plants in about 15 minutes. So when Steve and I were discussing where he wanted to get flowers I suggested this place and we proceeded to go there. It's a great Nursery with so many kinds of flowers and trees to look at and see what would work best for your home. In the end we purchased some flowers and they look so good in the backyard! A much needed splash of color to have back there which we needed. We will look into the trees at a later time for sure as we have been wanting a Japanese Maple tree and they had the kind that we liked. All in all a nice visit and I am embarrassed that it has took this long to pay a visit but better late than never.

If you like cute décor or you're looking for a gift, this is a good option to look at! This is, of course, a plant shop, of which they have a large selection with many variety, though the prices I saw were steep in comparison with other plant shops in the general area. They had almost all the plants I'm currently looking for on my list, but the specimens were either in poor condition and/or more expensive than other shops.

We have been here several times in the past and always liked their plant selection and statuary and other ornaments you can use for your yard. They have some very nice windchimes in which we want to get sometime... ones with a deep resonating sound and they do have ones here that look to be of good quality! I don't know if they still do it and I am thinking if memory serves you can chicks here in the Spring. Super cute little chickens! Found out after scheduling a new company that Urban Gardners was ridicuosly overpriced...for that you get rude CustomerService, attitude and zero communication! The lights needed to be re-done numerous times (mainly on plants/trees) The capper was us asking numerous times for an invoice, and not getting one, then the owner saying we were paying late when we paid the day the lights were taken down. Sad to see! Whole experience was awful.

I took a detour to Vassey's after taking a friend to another nursery that is known for their vast…read moreselection of plants and gift shop. Vassey Nursery was such an unexpected surprise! A word of warning, Google Maps might send you to the wrong driveway across railroad tracks (as it did us) . This must happen A LOT because there was a sign or two stating that it was private property and to not drive any further! We backtracked over the railroad tracks, started driving parallel to the tracks on the main road and the correct directions kicked in. We went with it, and glad we did! Helpful staff, a nice selection of common plants as well as ones that are not so well known, or varieties lesser known. In the heat that we've had this summer I was very impressed that the plants did not seem at all stressed from lack of water or sunburn--like the previous nursery we'd just come from, not to mention my own garden! Not easy to do, so wanted to note their obvious care of plants. Nurseries have become quite pricey but felt this was reasonably priced and in comparison to Watson's, a very good deal! I bought a few things, having only wanted to get some ideas for fall planting. I couldn't resist! I most definitely will be back.

As soon as I paid and went outside she was already driving with second bucket load, I could see that the bucket was half empty. After she dumped it I asked her how big the bucket is and she said one yard, I said why wasn't it full? She quickly went inside. It's not just cheating, it's stealing. I have no idea how big the first bucket was. Checked it at home with the volume calculator and it was just above one yard. Rip off.
