Always a great venue to shoot, awesome helpful staff, some days are busier than others especially during hunter sight in this time of year. You won't have to wait long to get a spot thou. Very safe range, they have safety rules for a reason so that everyone enjoys their visit to this exceptional range and goes home in one piece. Stay behind the yellow line when a ceasefire has been called for obvious reason. No handling of firearms under the pavilion or in the parking lot during a cease fire, if the red light is flashing this means a CEASEFIRE. Don't bring any firearms under the pavilion enclosed in a case, one firearm on the bench at a time. I can't stress enough how safe this club is operated, follow the rules for everyone's safety. read more

The Everett Sportsmens Club has made major changes in personnel, RSO's and a dramatic improvement to the range facilities. They've been extraordinarily busy being one of the few outdoor non-profit club ranges open to the public too. Pricing is really fair for a 5 hour (noon to 5pm) shooting period using any range from the 7-yard pistol range through the 25, 50 & 100 yard ranges as well as the trap range. If you don't come out a couple of times to take them in, you don't know what you're missing. Highly recommended to safe shooters who want a clean, safe and fun place to shoot. read more

If you're a casual gun owner who only goes to the range once or twice a year, ESC's public access maybe a cost effective alternative to noisy, distance limited indoor ranges. The RSO's are generally positive and helpful. As a club to consider for membership, it's sadly lacking. For starters, it's only in operation perhaps 6 months out of the year due to the grounds being flooded on purpose for duck hunters. Standing water from rainfall will close the range as well. Add in that the range is only open 3 days a week for 5 hours a day. For the same cost of membership there are two other local clubs that are open year round, 6 or 7 days a week for 12 hours a day. ESC's facilities are primitive at best. The trap range is an embarrassment and the ancient PortaPotty should have been replaced years ago. There are no organized events or competitive disciplines. Most recently, the club was shut down by the state for failing to register with the Secretary of State and leaving the club uninsured. Unfortunately the club has a history of incompetent leadership and misfeasance. The loss of any safe shooting facility harms both gun owners and non-gun owners and I fear ESC's days are numbered. read more

This is the most dishonest range I have ever been to. If I could review in negative numbers I would for this place, people working there are rude, condecending and flat out dishonest. I arrived about 4:10pm when they were supossed to close at 5pm, figured $20 for myself and $20 for my wife for less than one hour is a little steep, but whatever at least I get 50mins, no sir, at 4:45pm they declared the cease fire and ask everybody to put weapons away. I asked one of them "hey, dont you think you could have given me a little warning that you close 4:45pm when I paid you $40 bucks expecting to be here until the actual closing time?" His response: "it is what it is", I asked if he thought that was honest, his response again "it is what it is". I asked for a person in charge or a number to call and they told me there is no one to call. These people didn't even give me a a receipt for the money paid and apparently they work with no oversight whatsoever. Makes you wonder what kind of standards they manage when this is the kind of dishonest behaviour you get from them. They will never get my business again, and I will tell everybody I know to stay the hell away from this place. read more

I have been here once and will definitely be back again soon. I went early on a Sunday afternoon and pretty much had my choice of 25 yard pistol, 50 yard rifle or 100 yard rifle lanes available. The shotgun area was busy when I got there. By 2:00 it was much busier and all the 25 and 50 yard options were busy with a short waiting line. There were still lots of openings for 100 yard rifle and sometime during those first two hours the shotgun area became deserted. This is the only place for fifty miles around I have found that will let you shoot a rifle off-hand "As long as you can keep the rounds on the paper". If you follow reasonable safety rules that are posted on site and don't bring your weapon to the pavilion until you have signed in with the Range Safety Officers then you get treated with courtesy and friendliness by the staff. They offer a frequent shooter card that lets you get a session free when you have previously spent $60. Once you fill it up it can also be used as proof that you shoot safely enough to apply for membership, if you are so inclined. Covered firing line for rifle and pistol. Wooden benches to shoot from. Targets available for a donation. I saw no other amenities, so make sure to bring your weapon, ammunition, chamber flag and hearing and eye protection. Its up to you to have fun, I did. read more

Facilities are pretty decent and used to be one of our favorite places to shoot, but one of their staff members was so awful that we will never be back. Older fellow- Steve A. I think. He was rude, condesending, and super controlling. Definitely seemed to have let the title of "rangemaster" go to his head. Never had a shooting experience quite like it. Not sure what his deal was, but clearly has some issues to work out. Allison C. on the otherhand was super helpful and clearly working a hell of a lot harder than Steve. Not going back any time soon and would certainly recommend checking the schedule first to avoid Steve A. if you do plan on going. Seriously, he is a ridiculously terrible person. Hopefully not his norm and just a bad day, but damn. read more

This place has insane rules that make no sense. If you are shooting a "high powered" rifles (anything above a .22 rimfire) you have to single load the rifle unless you are buddies with the range safety. I am in my 30's but look very young and was treated very rudely and I believe it was due to my age. I have never been treated so poorly at a range in my life. I am active duty military in the local community and will be sharing how I was treated with everyone I know. Rules at a range should be enforced across the board, not selectively. read more

This is a great range. Not fancy, not big and not open a lot. BUT, very friendly, very helpful, very knowledgeable and looking for more customers who are safe and lack an attitude. My first visit was on a sunny but slow day and the range master was thinking of closing up early. However, upon my arrival both he and a buddy proceeded to walk me through their safety protocols and personally instruct me for three hours on improving my shooting with a newly acquired AR-15. I went to the Everett Sportsmen Club for the first time last week. This place is great! It's a nice outdoor range with just the right atmosphere. It's small enough that the rangemaster can easily keep everyone safe and shooting, but large enough so that you're not too crowded by your neighbor. The people were all friendly and the range policies are sensible and effectively enforced: they don't treat you like children, but they do make sure everyone is safe and comfortable. I will definitely be back. read more
