The club has a rifle line for targets 25 to 200 yards and a pistol line for targets out to 50 yards. There are several action shooting bays. Archery, air soft and air rifle use is still ongoing at the club which is open most days from 9 am to about 4 pm. The club sponsors a junior shooting team (ages 10-20) that uses precision air rifles and is looking for more shooters. All equipment is provied by the club, the parents only need to pay for the rifle pellets which are cheap.

Overall it's great. For the range:…read more For those who never came before: For one dollar, you can buy ~ 2rds 9mm/1.33rd 5.56/1rd 12 gauge/1.5rd .45/9rds .22 here. I brought the gold membership. It is a bit costly but I would say it worth the price if you come regularly. It's also a great option for me as it includes the rental fees and I'd like to try different guns each time. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. One small thing to mention: They do provide shotguns for rental but the only standard option is KS7, which is cool if it's not jamming. I went to rent it twice and it both jammed. Staffs are nice as they switched Benelli M4 to me which was intended to be a "premium" rental. Would be nicer if they also provide 590/870/any other pump-action shotguns as standard options in the future. Apart from that, there's nothing I can complain. There was a time I went to the range with a friend who's shooting for the first time. Chris was very helpful and provides my friend with a quick but through intro and some other helps. For the shop: Great service. There's a young staff who is really friendly and helpful. No one would push you to make decisions here (which I like it) but you can always find helps if needed.

We were visiting Orcas Island this weekend and I brought my 9mm and a few boxes of ammo in case we…read morewanted to do some shooting. Sunday morning, My new-to-guns friend and I went here as non-members to shoot my pistol on the handgun range. The members and the range safety officer were very friendly and welcoming to us out of towners. The range safety officer was very helpful in helping me teach the new guy to shoot, and was a lot of fun to work with. The fee for non-members is $7.50 for the day and includes paper targets, target stands and backings. It's an outdoor range but the shooting line is enclosed and heated, and you shoot though windows. No human silhouette targets are allowed (the range provides paper targets for you). Target distances are fixed at 25 yards and 50 yards, both of which are pretty far for pistol shooting but the targets are correspondingly large. No restrictions on shell casing, which was nice (many commercial ranges won't allow steel cased ammo since they like to sell the brass). No carrying/wearing a gun is permitted on club grounds. I was carrying concealed the gun we intended to use so that was slightly awkward but I explained and it was resolved without issue on the firing line. They do stop shooting from 12-1 (i'm not sure if there's a nearby church or what) and take lunch in the clubhouse next door. They invited us to join them for lunch but we had to catch the ferry. Overall it was an ideal experience for introducing a friend to pistol shooting.
