Anyway, we heard that gun laws were much less restrictive in Washington, so we brought our Sig Pro 2022 to "pop off a few rounds." We didn't really know what to expect since California instilled a culture of fear of guns in us. The staff at Marysville Rifle Club were very friendly and helpful. They signed us up, the prices for shooting were reasonable, and we were shooting within 10 minutes of arriving. The only negative thing I could say is that there is a two year wait list to become a member therefore the only open days to shoot for non-members are Thursdays.

Nothing even acknowledging it. About 1.5 YEARS later I get a call at work. Ok--thanks--busy. Can you call me back tonight? Ok they said. Never called me back. Guess with the long wait list they could have at least told me yes/no and had plenty of others. Anyway, found better places and happy. No hard feelings here, just a lesson in customer non-care. Seemed like no sincere interest in a potential new guy. You judge for yourself--this is just one guy's experience.

This business is very friendly to women and they offer many women only classes. I did not see any "tacti-cool" types in there. There were just regular people exercising their constitutional right to bear arms. Prices are reasonable. Their website explains it all. This is a very nice place to come shoot.

The club has a rifle line for targets 25 to 200 yards and a pistol line for targets out to 50 yards. There are several action shooting bays. Archery, air soft and air rifle use is still ongoing at the club which is open most days from 9 am to about 4 pm. The club sponsors a junior shooting team (ages 10-20) that uses precision air rifles and is looking for more shooters. All equipment is provied by the club, the parents only need to pay for the rifle pellets which are cheap.

All Members have attended mandatory orientation where the clubs rules are discussed in detail and passed background checks before being approved for membership. Because NWSA is self-policing, with range masters not always being present, guests must sign waivers and Members are responsible for the actions of the guests, including compliance with all rules. This is taken very seriously. The grounds are under 24 hour surveillance. If you don't approve, don't join. But if you want a great private facility for pistol, rifle, trap, and archery, attend a monthly membership meeting.

It is a bit costly but I would say it worth the price if you come regularly. It's also a great option for me as it includes the rental fees and I'd like to try different guns each time. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. One small thing to mention: They do provide shotguns for rental but the only standard option is KS7, which is cool if it's not jamming. I went to rent it twice and it both jammed. Staffs are nice as they switched Benelli M4 to me which was intended to be a "premium" rental. Would be nicer if they also provide 590/870/any other pump-action shotguns as standard options in the future. Apart from that, there's nothing I can complain. There was a time I went to the range with a friend who's shooting for the first time. Chris was very helpful and provides my friend with a quick but through intro and some other helps. For the shop: Great service. There's a young staff who is really friendly and helpful. No one would push you to make decisions here (which I like it) but you can always find helps if needed.
