Harbor Gifts is one of them. I was actually surprised the the variety and quantity of gifts and items in the store. There have a lot of native arts and paintings as well as cute trinkets to say you've been there. The store is very clean and smells really good. They had native flute music playing in the background. Very nice ambiance. I also saw that you can rent a kayak but I didn't get a chance to check out the prices. All the kayaks looked to be in good shape and properly stowed in another part of the pier. Check this place out if you're in Coupeville. If you go down the the history museum and turn right onto the pier you'll see what I'm talking about.

Despite that, they refused to issue a full refund. When I booked, I expected a reasonable level of customer service and flexibility, especially for something as unpredictable as getting sick. Instead, I was met with rigid policy. It felt like they cared more about keeping my money than doing right by a customer who couldn't safely attend. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies, but there should be some level of compassion and common sense--especially when someone gives advance notice and isn't canceling last minute. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression. I would hesitate to book with them again and recommend others read the fine print very carefully before committing... because even with advance notice, you will not get a full refund if you need to cancel.

You can park on the side of the road but there are signs up that says that you can't park in certain areas. It isn't all clear so you run the risk of getting towed. Make sure you count your clams too because the rangers do patrol these areas. We got a lot of yummy manilla clams here.
