The rules are completely over the top. You have to be 16+ just to use the hot tub, which already feels excessive, but banning pool noodles is next level ridiculous. I didn't even bring one, they literally had a whole bin of them there, just sitting there that no one is allowed to use. What is even the point of that? Then, after paying, I was forced to wait 30 minutes for absolutely no clear reason. No explanation, no organization, just standing around while time was wasted. It honestly felt like they didn't care at all. And the sanitation? Questionable at best. For a place that's supposed to be about swimming and cleanliness, it did not feel clean or well-maintained. Overall, this place manages to be strict, disorganized, and underwhelming all at once. Charging people for this kind of experience is wild. I definitely won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you enjoy paying to be annoyed

It was super crowded when we were there, but I have heard it can be packed. I think the locker/changing room areas need an update or maybe just cleaned more frequently. We've tried many different programs and instructors, and my daughter just hasn't "taken" to the water. For this reason I canceled my me ever that just signed up for and paid the registration fee (over $500 Which includes the membership fee). So basically I have been told that if I would have contacted them before the 25th of the month, they could have refunded the membership fee but not that we are past it nothing can happen. If ever I would like to sign up again, I would still have to pay $200. This seems like a rip off and my kid come here for his classes and I come here for my beginner classes as well. Seems like it doesn't matter about customer satisfaction for them. They will Include any rule to make sure they are getting the money. Again, I like individuals here. But as business they definitely suck. I would not recommend being a member here cause as long as you are remember, you are fine but other than that it's a loss of money for you. Many would argue that I should have read terms and condition (which is in benefits to the club) but circumstances arise where you are an advocate to yourself. Be careful to becoming their member because it is a rip off, you may not know it just yet.

One of my children was petrified of the water and wouldn't submerge his head on the first day, and three months later, he was literally swimming across the pool independently. My other child could just barely swim, and by the end of a few months, he could nearly beat his instructor in a swimming race across the pool. Lisa and her staff are incredible. They are dedicated to helping kids learn water safety awareness, building confidence and independence, improving swimming technique and endurance, all while encouraging kids to have fun and truly enjoy the water. We are so grateful to Lisa and her teachers (our boys adored Aidan!) for helping my children learn the important life skill of swimming--something they will take with them for the rest of their lives!

After one session with Gelsi she emerged from the pool so proud that she actually swam. She checked in with us following the first lesson to make sure that we were happy.

We have been coming to this facility for five months (8yo & 14yo) and have seen very little progress. 1. Low Value and Inexperienced Staff: Paying $150 per month for short 15-minute lessons is far too expensive for the quality of service provided. The instructors do not appear experienced, and the short duration is simply not enough time for real skill development. 2. Constant Instructor Turnover Disrupts Learning: We experience frequent instructor changes, sometimes on a weekly basis. Because of this high turnover, the children struggle to get comfortable and have a difficult time adjusting to different teaching styles. This constant switching causes children to struggle with basic instructions and slows down their learning pace immensely. It feels like focus is on cycling through as many students as possible, rather than focusing on actual student progress and ensuring the kids get enough quality instruction. 3. Dismissive Management: My interactions with Daniel, the owner, were the most disappointing part of our overall experience. When I approached him for a conversation, his demeanor was dismissive and disrespectful. Instead of listening to a customer, he used his authority as the owner to shut down the dialogue entirely.

Color Me surprised when I saw that Waterbabies was offering a once a month free swim hour in the Kent rec catalog. So, we decided to give it a try. It's only about 16 minutes from my house so it's not too far to go. Getting there was not very tricky. I followed my GPS, which led me behind a bar at the far end of a business complex. Parking has always been easy to find, even a close spot near the door. We've been here three times since and my girls love going. To be honest, I love going too. But what sets it apart from other pools is that they have really awesome foam toys that I had never seen before, like a floating foam slide and a foam canoe that fits two. They also have lots of handheld toys, rings, and goggles to use. They have the larger pool, which is 4 ft throughout, and they have a smaller one by the door. My one gripe with using the local pool was that it was always a fight to get a shower afterwards...But not here. We've always been able to walk right into the changing room, shower with pleasantly hot water, and know that our belongings are safely stored in one of their lockers. One convenience feature I also saw was a pack and play available for moms with babies that need corralling. All of the staff is very nice, with even keel, reasonable energy. You don't get overtalked to, but everybody is informed in case you have questions. It's been a really great experience coming here and I hope they continue to offer this monthly family swim!

It's nice you have the entire space for just your group and you can use all the water toys they have. Which is a ton of fun toys. The party space was a good size for the group of 12 kids but their wasn't a lot of extra chairs for the adults. I liked that we were allowed to tape decorations. You are responsible for setting up the whole room. The tables were all folded in the corner and chairs in stacks. The huge negative was the pizza package that was clearly stated on the website to include juice, water, plates, napkins, and forks... When we ordered it it wasn't mentioned they didn't include those anymore we found out a few minutes before the party was going to start! One of us had to run to the store to buy the needed things and missed half the swimming time for my daughter's birthday. If it was just me I don't know what I would have been able to do to get the needed supplies and watch my kids... If we had known none of those were included and it was only the pizza I could have bought and picked up the pizza for a lot cheaper since dominos is in the same complex as the pool. And I would have been prepared with the items we needed.

None of that re-enrolling after 10 weeks (or however long other swim programs are) and writing down 3 time slot choices (hoping to get your #1 choice). - group session is maximum of 3 swimmers! - consistent teachers. My daughter had teacher John for almost 2 years before seeing a different teacher. - program director is very receptive of comments. Example: one new teacher talked a lot in the beginning to the point the kids were no longer listening. Explained the situation to the program director and the following week, there was improvement. Short instructions, kids listened well, and ample swim time. My daughter would've stayed with Orca if it weren't for the fact that she wanted to join a swim team and needed that next-level program to improve her endurance and skill set. I always recommend first time swimmers to check out Orca.
