Ricky, the owner, over-ordered flooring and padding for my project, even though I provided accurate measurements. I ended up with four extra boxes of laminate and a full roll of padding. On May 16, 2025, I returned the extra product. At first, Ricky said returns were difficult and mentioned a 30% restocking fee. I then contacted the warehouse where the product came from, and they gave me a receipt confirming a 15% restocking fee. I sent Ricky the proof, and since then, I've reached out multiple times -- politely and patiently -- but he's ignored my messages and still hasn't refunded the credit he owes me. It's disappointing to be treated this way over a few hundred dollars, especially after being a loyal and trusting customer. I paid him upfront without hesitation, but unfortunately, he hasn't shown the same honesty in return.

They finished the job quickly in under two hours, and initially, the floor looked great. Unfortunately, the quality of the workmanship has not held up, and the lack of professional follow-through has been disappointing. Less than two weeks after the job was completed, I applied standard painter's tape to the floor, and when I pulled it up, it took entire patches of the new clear coat right along with it. For a $1,200 service, a topcoat should easily handle basic low-tack tape without peeling off the substrate. I have tried reaching out to the company multiple times to give them a chance to honor their service and fix the defect, but they have completely ignored my communications. While the crew was nice in person, the lack of durability and failure to stand behind their work makes it impossible for me to recommend them.

Brandon quickly stepped in and had one of his guys perform drywall repair right away so as to not stall the project. They removed and reinstalled the washer/dryer as well. They also updated the 20 year old baseboards to match the rest of the house. All of G & A's laborers that worked in our home were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. We heard of Spartaflex through some information online and it was nice to attach a human face to the information. He may not be the lowest price, but his price was competitive given the fact that he does things right (regarding being licensed and bonded and being in compliance with various regulations). It also seems like he takes some extra steps like the moisture testing and thinking into the future about how his product will age and perform. Based on the information provided, his product also seems to be superior. We felt comfortable enough to sign a contract right after his estimate. His crew communicated about their scheduling and their ETAs. They were responsible and we were impressed with Juan and Kyle's demeanor and courtesy. As we look at their job a little over a week out, in the areas that we can see, the product looks good.
