Fireplace: Majestic Jade 42 in direct vent gas…read more This year using the remote, the fireplace wouldn't turn on the vent system and fireplace. Called several companies who said they would not service and found one who charged me $250 to diagnosis the problem and said I needed a new control module and wanted to charge me $2200 with no guarantees that would solve the problem. I was like dude.. the fireplace itself is $3000... why am I not getting a brand new fireplace then... I asked them to itemize the estimate ... no response. So I called up Harry at Royal Fireplace the day after Thanksgiving and he immediately referred me to Juan. Juan came over the next day and he immediately diagnosed the problem as a faulty remote. He had a new one with him and used it to continue to troubleshoot and make sure the fireplace and venting system were working properly. He checked the wiring, the venting to the outside and the venting system under the house. He cleaned everything. And all that was $450 including the new remote. Highly recommend!!

I had gone to the yard in person to select the specific pallet we wanted because the color variation mattered for our client. When the delivered pallet didn't quite match what I had approved, I reached out. Once I reached out and spoke to Derek, they worked with me to make it right. Not only did they allow me to come back and personally tag the correct pallet, but they also coordinated delivery immediately so we could stay on schedule and finish our project within our timeframe. That kind of responsiveness makes a huge difference in this industry. Our family has been doing business with them for over 30+ years, and experiences like this are exactly why. They stand behind their materials and value long-term relationships. Highly recommend -- solid service, fair people, and they take care of their customers.

I purchased 20 wire nuts and 20 feet of outdoor lighting wire and the total cost was $61.98. At Home Depot the same materials would have cost $23. If that wasn't bad enough, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful and when I checked the receipt at home, they had charged me for 10 ga wire instead of the cheaper 16 ga wire that I received.
