Bartenders are friendly and engaging. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Just follow the directions to the Puyallup stand and the U-pick field is right across the street. There's an outhouse behind the stand if you need a restroom. Otherwise, head straight to the U-pick area, where there's plenty of parking. The check-in is at a small white tent, where they provide cardboard boxes for picking. I went on a Saturday morning. They opened at 9 AM and charged $4.10 per pound. What I really like about this farm is how organized it is. Staff will direct you to a specific row of plants, and you'll use a flag to mark where you stopped picking. It was easy to find plenty of ripe strawberries and we filled two boxes quickly. It's hard to judge the weight by sight, but each box was probably about 7.5 pounds, since the total came to around $60. Two key tips: 1. Check their Facebook page for up-to-date hours and availability, since they change with the weather. 2. Bring cash or a personal check because they don't accept credit cards.
