But you can enjoy the festive vibes and decor without doing the whole experience if you are short on time or cash. Their food is delicious! The best way to describe it is homemade comfort food! The friendly staff is knowledgeable and will answer any questions you might have about what certain things are or about ingredients. You can also eat fairly affordably, especially for the portion sizes and homemade, quality ingredients. The shop has a variety of souvenir type items (shirts, magnets, mugs, stuffed animals) but also local products like cheese and candy. They also have bakery items and tasty ice cream. We were away from home and had just eaten at another restaurant, so we purchased only two small things--a brookie (a chocolate-chip cookie with a brownie inside) and a small cherry pie. The total price was $11. On the next day, we ate the brookie and the cherry pie at home. They tasted pretty good. You guys build A LOT of homes, so maybe it gets lost on you (although with the patience we've experienced from each of you, I suspect not), but this process can be so stressful. Heck, when we came to you guys from our last builder, we had broken spirits and honestly weren't even sure if building was something we wanted to do, but you guys changed that. We've had friends that foolishly went with other builders tell us HORROR stories about their own experiences and every. single. time. we look at each other and shake our heads and think "omg that was almost us, but THANK GOD we went with Costa". Every step of the way you guys have been patient, up front, honest, kind.. the list goes on. This home is a massive investment for us, and as first time homebuilders this has been a little scary, but every step of the way Chris and Tony have made us feel more relaxed , calm, and confident. Chef Steve grilled hot dogs and burgers onsite, and I received so many compliments on the food from guests.
