I will leave it here instead: My boyfriend and I had an incredibly uncomfortable experience at the Eva's Boutique on Garfield Street in Eugene, Oregon. We were greeted upon entry by the employee working that day, who asked us if we needed any help. My boyfriend politely declined, but the employee began hovering around us, offering unsolicited advice and making unnecessary comments. While looking at the fleshlights, the employee began describing them to us in detail. At that point, we were already uncomfortable, but the feeling grew when the employee mentioned to my boyfriend, "yeah you can really go ham on it," about a particular fleshlight with a fake butt attached. We left quickly after they said that, and spent the rest of the day feeling gross and uncomfortable. We haven't been back since. As someone who has personally experienced inappropriate sexualization, it was deeply upsetting to witness somebody I care about go through the same. Nobody should leave a store feeling objectified, and I hope you understand the potential impact this could have on more vulnerable customers.

I am not very familiar with more modern toys but the employee working (Mikaylah) was so educated and helpful with all the toys and I was so impressed with how good they were at explaining things to me in a kind and professional way. Thanks Mikaylah!!

Went into this shop with my partner & was immediately greeted by 4 employees with all eyes on us…read more We were asked if we were looking for anything, we replied that we were just looking around. We proceeded to be bombarded by questions. "Can we tell you about our deals? What exactly are you looking for?" Even after we said we didn't need help and was just browsing, the store associate continued to follow us and prod us with questions about products we were looking at. "Looking into toys for back door play?", asked super loudly as my partner and I are trying to quietly talk amongst ourselves. It got to a point where I had to put my hand up and say "We're actually good. Thank you" for a second or third time in a really stern way. I never like having to talk to associates at stores like that, but it was genuinely so uncomfortable and unprompted. Even during checkout, trying to just buy the one product I found and leave was a headache. The same associate continuously wanted me to engage in a conversation about the toy I was buying. She explained she needed to open the box to check if the product worked which is fine, but then she started to ask all these uncomfortable questions at the checkout line while holding the toy, "Do you want me to show you how to charge it? Do you wanna feel the vibration of it? Do you know how to take care of it?" It was just an absolute barrage of unnecessary, uncomfortable questions that I continued to try to get through. And again this is front of 3 other employees who had all eyes on us. This is all while I have my debit card in hand and I'm making it very clear I want the transaction to be over and we want to leave. Overall we left feeling incredibly uncomfortable and unhappy, and agreeing we'd never step foot in there again. Which was incredibly disappointing because there's a decent selection in store & it's closest to us. And I understand needing to be a good salesperson & make sure your customers know what you offer, but that was way over the line. Sex is an intimate thing & not everyone wants to talk boldly & loudly with a stranger about what we're shopping for. We also don't want to disclose a bunch of details about things that really don't concern the staff of this store. Be more respectful of your customers & their boundaries. Meet your customers where they're at and leave them alone if they're not being responsive to your continued attempts to spark up a conversation.

Google maps has me time stamped arriving at to Adult Shop @ 9:40pm. I spent maybe 10 minutes at the most in my truck freshening up and Checked messages on my phone. When Egor made her first appearance. Starring at me making excessive noices with the dumpster slamming the handle around. Making her presence known loud and clear. After all the commotion she walks to the passenger side of my truck to ask me if I'm going to be alright. What the???? I simply responding yes I am fine, Thank You. She leaves. Only to return literally 4 minutes later talking down to me in the most disrespectful tone that loitering in the parking lot isn't allowed and that I need to be moving on. I responded saying that I wasn't loitering and that I was headed into the store. She snipped right back with "No you're not you're leaving!" I asked her what the problem was. And asked her why she'd harrassin me. I think she has a problem with the LGBTQ community. As Im a very respectful person. She says "you need to be leaving before you're 86'd." I said let's get a manager on the phone this is ridiculous. She responds with im assistant manager. As she's waving her hand goodbye in my face. I go to my truck to leave and realize ive locked my keys in my truck. I walk to the front doors. To let the hag know i was locked out and that i was taking my bike home to get spare keys. As i approach the doors she comes running very aggressively all but yelling " DO NOT COME IN MY STORE!" I tell her to calm down I'm in no way a threat to you and all this was unnecessary. I let her know i locked my keys in my truck. She responded with "that's not my problem, I will have it towed." Not wanting my truck towed I broke into my truck wrecking the passenger door trimgrrr. Google has me leaving there by 10:04pm. I didn't in any way go there asking for this kind of treatment! WTF!! Never been harrassed to this degree for spending a few minutes in the parking lot.

I never really see employees in the store, and nobody ever talks to us. So customer service is severely lacking. I kind of miss them having cash registers around the store. Now it's just at the back of the store, and the line seems stupid/cheap. They have all these cheap crappy "eye level" items lined up along the way to encourage impulse buying. The store is usually pretty clean and decently organized though, so that is a plus. I've never really had a bad experience in here, but nothing fabulous either. Would I return? Because they sell the jeans my husband wears for work, yes. Without that, probably not. It's a mediocre store with nothing memorable about it, and I struggle to find a reason to come in. I went in looking for underwear and was told that the dept was no longer upstairs and directed to where it supposedly is now but after following the directions exactly, I came to the men's department. No underwear there even for men. So I found another associate who directed me to the exact same place. The men's department. I walked down all the aisles around but no underwear anywhere. What a dump. Even the employees don't have a clue. Dine with Penneys. I just cut up the credit card.
