I emailed customer service to inquire about this and was told it was false. We purchased additional products because of this perceived "safety net." Not professional, they don't listen to individual needs. Assumptions are made too often. They sell you expensive products that don't fit your needs. Employee Ayla is always so fun and helpful when I come in to shop for outfits for shows and raves. The selection is hit or miss. Lots of the same kinds of stuff I wish there was more variety. Always lots of school girl outfits in stock or lacey lingerie which isn't my thing. Sometimes I can find something great, though. Also pretty weird that the only models they use for advertising/postering in store are all white/hetero-normative couples. Castle would do well with some more diversity in advertising. Colored people and LGBTQ people deserve to feel represented in adult stores just as much as anyone else. This place seems to carry nothing but poor quality overpriced products. I've bought three vibrators from this shop over the past two years (all three different brands and price ranges, one battery powered the other two rechargeable) and they all stopped working within a month. Employees won't let you browse in peace either. Going into a store such as this can get really awkward and embarrassing quickly and easily. I have to say the staff in this store are wonderful. I don't typically ask for help in a store such as this, simply because of the awkward/weirdness factor, but the staff is so friendly and knowledgable, it's easy to discuss things and ask questions. I'm always impressed by their knowledge and professional attitudes and demeanor. I'm even comfortable with male employees in here for this reason. The product selection is huge! I've found several high end items, which were expensive, but perfect for what I needed. The associates always help and are happy to show me products. I've never been unhappy with a purchase here. I was never impressed by this store when it was on Gateway St, and didn't think much of it when they moved. But it's definitely improved a million times over. It's a long way out of my way to go here, but I've always found what I'm looking for. My husband and I visited the store for the first time yesterday, and we were pretty impressed. Firstly, the prices for MOST things in the store are below what you'd expect. They have Items from We Vibe and Vesper Crave that are the same price as online. In California it's almost double. The lingerie is also nicely priced, as well as their hand blown glass toys. I'm leaving a 1 star because of a very rude worker who tried to take my friends purse from her because of a "large bag" policy. Her purse is normal size. She said she wasn't comfortable handing over her purse to be taken where she couldn't see it but would zip it, and the woman then said they either have to take it or it has to be put in her car. She didn't feel safe with that either so my friend said "can you just walk over here with me really quick I know the exact toy I'm coming in for" and the woman told her no she couldn't be taken from other customers. We were the only people in the store, not even another car in the parking lot. We ended up leaving and she was super condescending as we left telling us "have a nice day!" They understand that while the nature of the goods is sensitive, customers still want to leave with the correct item. Somehow, they have figured out how to walk the line between helpful and invasive without stepping over even once. I was in recently looking for condoms, and the employee was able to recommend items based not on personal experience (which would be uncomfortable) but on quality of manufacturing. This is the kind of information you want when buying birth control! You'll find every little thing you're looking for, and lots of things you maybe didn't know are real.
