If your looking to have a nice sit down in a waiting area, Perhaps a cup of coffee , the daily talk show on the TV or perhaps CNN this place isn't for you. I drive a Toyota Prius with 210,000 miles on it. For almost the entire time we've owned this car,…read moreI've taken it to dealerships to have it serviced because I didn't think non-Toyota-employed mechanics would have the necessary expertise to fix this technologically complex car. Turns out - at least when it comes to Twisted Wrench - I was completely wrong! When the dealership charged me an arm and a leg to replace the wrong wheel bearing and then wanted to charge me the other arm and leg to change the right one, I gave Twisted Wrench a try out of desperation. I don't remember exactly what the difference was, but I'm pretty sure they charged me about half of what the dealership made me pay. Since then they have changed my spark plugs (which is obnoxiously difficult in Priuses - they are kinda buried under the windshield wipers), done a couple of oil changes, rotated my tires, and now they are going to fix an oil leak for us. Everything has been done in a far more timely manner than the dealerships and for extremely reasonable prices. I mean - really - I feel guilty that they don't charge me more. Take your car to Twisted Wrench! You won't be sorry!

If you have a car problem go to STREET SPORTS. Period. This is the only shop that can touch my car…read morenow. I have found a GREAT performance shop in Nicholasville KY that really knows their stuff. Its Street Sports Performance, and they've been in business almost 20 years now! 859-278-STREET (7873) Ask for Shawn Sexton, he's the head honcho and he's beyond good! (Former Air Force Jet Mechanic!!!) This shop is an amazing find tucked away on the old dragstrip (how appropriate!) Shawn the owner is a talented, meticulous & very knowledgeable master mechanic, and so are the people who work for him. The entire shop is staffed by professionals and their gear is insane. Using nothing but the best of the best in tools and diagnostic equipment, Street Sports has a unique advantage over your average mom & pop garage. I had a problem that 4 mechanics could not even begin to solve, then I discovered Street Sports and Shawn got right down to the root of the issue in no time flat. We only had to replace a few small parts because he does not use the 'Shotgun" method of throwing enough new parts at the car until it works. He has really proven himself indispensable to me and my Turbo Tuscani. I don't care if you need normal repairs on a factory vehicle or if you are like me and have waaay more horsepower than you need, Street Sports will do the job right and not charge an arm and a leg either. Shawn, you are the man! My Tuscani Turbo is running great ever since I left the other night. Not one single incident so far, she's purring again, and faster than a bullet. Thanks so much. You are a bad ass mechanic, glad to have you around. Again, thanks.
