I am 65 years old, they are only the 2nd dealer I would ever say that about. Each member of the family operation I met was genuinely very friendly and pleasant to work with. They actually came down $2500 on what honestly was already a fair price. And this at the tail end of the used car price markup craziness to do with the covid pandemic. They also arranged to have me picked up from the Charlotte airport, a good 30 min from their dealership. I was heading home on a 600 mile drive Immediately after doing the final sale details with them. Knowing this, Justin and Christina went out of their ways to accomplish as much of the paperwork and sales finalities over the phone before I even left to fly to Charlotte. I highly recommend CAW and I'm sure you'll be as impressed with their efficiency, friendliness and honesty as I was. Yes, I actually said that about a car dealer.     NOTE: If I could leave write a review with ZERO stars, that would be more accurate…read more Our goal was to find low miles on a solid, high quality car for our son to drive while in college. On August 20, 2017, we bought a 2007 BMW 530i from Sentell Abrams of J Z & A Autos Sales that appeared to fit our needs. The most attractive part of the deal was the fact that the used car included an engine warranty. The engine light indicator was on, which is what alerted us to confirm this warranty before purchase. Sentell Abrams assured us that if our European Specialty mechanic discovered anything out of the normal to let him know and we could return the car. We drove the car home, our son cleaned it inside and out, and we took it to the mechanic Monday morning. Unfortunately, the mechanic said the car was in "pieced together condition" with oil leaks, soldered parts, radiator damage/leaks and engine damage. We also confirmed that the mileage had been rolled back by 40k+ miles! Furthermore, our mechanic said that it was not safe to drive it, and it needed to be returned. My husband contacted Sentell Abrams who replied with "the car was sold as is." A few days later, we received paperwork from the engine warranty company that they would not insure the car and 'declined to cover' the car due to mileage being not accurate as described. Sentell had put false mileage on the Bill of Sale. Again, my my husband contacted Sentell Abrams to refund our money, and he again refused. Sentell Abrams remains silent. We received the title via certified mail, and did not sign ownership of the vehicle. A claim was filed with the BBB and SC Consumer Affairs. We are now also pursuing legal action for falsifying a Bill of Sale. All we want is to return the car and get our money back, and that should be a very simple and easy thing to do.

    We bought a car from J Z & A Auto Sales on a Saturday. The engine light was on when purchased and…read moreduly noted in sales agreement as potential issue to null and void agreement. We had agreement from Sentell Abrams that we were going to take the car to a mechanic on Monday and would let him know why the engine light was on and if we could make the fix relatively easy then we would but if the engine light indicated a substantial fix then we would return the car promptly that same week for refund. On Tuesday we notified Sentell Abrams that the mechanic said the car indeed had substantial engine damage and that we would like to return the car as agreed. Sentell said 'no'. Additionally, we discovered that the miles stated on the bill of sale signed by Sentell are false. And that the car's mileage is in fact been rolled back over 40,000 miles. Sentell Abrams acknowledged he knew the miles he stated on the bill of sale were not accurate, but said it didn't matter because J Z & A Auto Sales was 'exempt' from having to be honest about mileage reporting on the bill of sale. We have patiently over weeks asked to return the car for refund. Sentell keeps refusing. Now we have been forced to retain a lawyer and are suing for the refund plus associated legal fees and damages from J Z & A Auto Sales and/or Sentell Abrams on the grounds of 'knowingly and willfully falsifying a bill of sale' clearly stated on the bill of sale as punishable by fines and/or imprisonment. We are very sorry about this whole issue and only wish for the easy simple resolution that was originally agreed.
