The vehicle was purchased…read morebrand new from Randy Marion Chevrolet, with all accessories already installed at the time of sale. South Charlotte Chevrolet refused to honor warranty coverage on those items, stating that they would not cover them because the accessories were installed by another Chevrolet dealer. As the customer, I had no role in the installation or modification of these items. The vehicle was purchased new from an authorized Chevrolet dealership, and the accessories were included in the original sale. Warranty coverage should not depend on which authorized Chevrolet dealer performed the installation. If General Motors or Chevrolet excludes warranty coverage based on dealer-installed accessories, that limitation should be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. Denying coverage after the sale places responsibility on the customer for decisions made entirely within the GM dealer network. This experience reflects poorly on dealer-to-dealer coordination and on GM's warranty consistency. I expected better accountability and support from an authorized Chevrolet service department representing General Motors.

I found a car that I wanted at his dealership. He crossed every t and dotted every i in the process, getting me the car (I am in MA) smoothly and quickly. I was so impressed I just purchased ANOTHER car from him with his help. I told him what I wanted and he found me the most amazing Land Rover, which was just delivered 2 days ago. He is reliable, unbelievably attentive and responsive. Although I don't plan on getting any other cars for a while, when I need one I'll be sure to use Amin again. I highly recommend him to anyone looking.

My father & I went in together to buy a truck from Danny Philbeck and Stateline Motor Company. We…read morejust wanted a truck that was 4x4 & that was dependable. The color, make, model, etc didn't matter. Just wanted it to run...not too difficult of criteria to meet if you're an automobile dealer. The check engine light came on while test driving and Mr. Philbeck said that it was "probably just an O2 sensor" and that he'd get it "fixed". We returned when the truck was ready and paid $4,000 in cash up front for a truck that Danny said had a motor that "ran real strong". Two weeks later the check engine light came on again. I returned the truck & Mr. Philbeck said he'd have his top mechanic look at it. I picked it back up a few days later with the check engine light now off. A week later it came back on and I re-visited Stateline Motor again asking Danny to make it right. He said he would send me to a different mechanic to take a deeper look. I took the truck over to a different location. The guy looked at it, said he fixed it, and didn't charge me anything. The light kept coming on, but this time it started blinking. Mr. Philbeck told the guy who referred me to him that he would make it right and switch out the truck for a different one. That never happened. When it became apparent that Stateline Motor Company wasn't going to make it right I had no choice but to try to get it fixed on my own. After spending $2,000 more dollars on the truck in between 4 different mechanics the truck is now sitting in the junk yard. I guess it's never good when the mechanics started asking who sold the truck to me because they wanted to know who had sold something in that bad of shape to a consumer. I ride by the junk yard nearly every week and seeing it there reminds me of this whole bad experience. If Stateline Motor Company wants to come and get the truck out of the junkyard and give me something that actually runs, I'll gladly update this post. Until then If you would like to set fire to your time & money...then just buy a vehicle at Stateline Motore Company.

Beware at all costs purchasing any product large purchase or small from DRIVETIME on South Blvd in…read moreCharlotte. They sell cars that are lemons. Regardless of what they tell you or refer you to their customer support; or sell you a $200 additional coverage, keep going. Find a smaller dealer that cares about repeat business and is humble enough to realize the customer is why they have a business. I'm am sick and tired of this country treating people that have gone through circumstances in life, where a restart is required, like they have no value. No help just pulling people down further! The treatment that DriveTime demonstrates is absolutely disgraceful. I am a surviving breast cancer patient. I recently lost my mom whom I took care of for nine years. Additionally I lost everything I had and am climbing back. The least I deserve is to be treated with respect and decency. I purchased a Jeep Patriot. Initially the payment was approximately $425. I bought additional coverage for total of $609 A week after driving off the lot the Jeep started pulling. The engine light came on. Admittedly, my mom had just passed when I purchased the vehicle, I didn't notice they let me leave with ball tires. I have gone through all the channels. Customer Service, standard bs with no real concern. Today I went back to the original dealership to pick up my tags The manager, despite my request to look at my tires, and a request to at a minimum, put air in the tires for my safety, did not budge from his arrogant stance, rather telling me he is not a mechanic. He would not budge to look. But DriveTime keeps him. Now what you will see following this heads-up, is a very nice statement from DriveTime telling me how sorry they are I feel the way I do. Don't believe the hype. If you are starting over, don't believe the tv ads. I am paying slightly over $600 dollars for 72 months. Take my recommendation and visit the smaller dealers. Even buy here pay here businesses. They will treat you with respect and dignity and work to earn our ourself and the . AVOID DRIVETIME AT ALL COST

We had tried a few other car dealerships and were told "due to your short length of time on the…read morejob, you're going to get a NO where every you go" I work contract, make well above average income, at Crown, they looked at me as a person, the fact that I've been doing the same job for 22 years (on contract) not the amount of time I was at this particular company on contract. Before we even set foot on the car lot, I had sent in all my documentation (Drivers Licence, Proof of income, residence etc.), Brian and John (I think that's the right name) checked my information, interviewed me for the loan and had an approval amount before even getting there. Although we chose a car we absolutely loved from the internet pictures, it happened to be about $4,000.00 more than our approval, but they worked with us, our down was only $500.00 more than for something in our approval amount, we received a much lower interest rate than expected. They deal with people from all walks of life, from those making minimum wage to those making over $150k a year...no matter what your situation, you're not brought in with a false sense of what you're approved for then sent to what I call the "Dog Pound" of ratty cars, you know up front before even going what you're approved for and are given a choice of late model, quality vehicles (in our case we were determined to get the one we fell for). Brian had the car we were interested in waiting for us when we showed up, handed us the keys for a test drive and when we returned, it was a matter of getting the car on our insurance, signing the paperwork, paying the downpayment and we were on our way!!! You will be treated with the respect and integrity you deserve, nothing hidden like 99% of the car dealers out there. Everybody was friendly, they make you feel like family, they're professional and don't pull anything over your eyes... If you're looking for a car, bottom of the barrel horrible credit or top of the chart excellant credit, you're going to get awesome treatment... I recommend this dealer (with multiple lots to pull from) 150%... If I could give them 10 Stars instead of 5... I would...
