The automated ball system keeps things flowing without interruption, and every detail feels designed to enhance your game without distractions. What really makes the difference, though, is the atmosphere. Whether I go solo to clear my mind or bring friends along for a more social outing, I always end up having a great time. The food and drinks are surprisingly good, and having them delivered right to your bay is such a convenient touch. I also love that the booths have heating, which makes this a great place to visit any time of year. Overall, this is one of those spots I keep coming back to. I figured this was the perfect time to try it out. What i wasn't expecting was an additional $29 fee for using the bay. Plus tax and then being asked to leave a tip. I definitely wasn't expecting to pay that much on top of a promotion for a complimentary session. On the positive side, the people working there were really nice and welcoming. I really appreciated that club rentals were included. I tried out the different games that they had in their virtual screen. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but i just wish they told us about the additional fees and had been a little more transparent upfront.

I am a completely new golfer -- started in mid-August 2022 and have played maybe 10 rounds total…read more I've taken a few lessons which have helped but spent way too much time hacking at the range, locking in bad habits and getting really bad elbow pain in the process. Within 5 minutes w/ Gabe, he was able to show me three concrete things that I could work on to improve my technique and reduce the risk of injury. My swing has literally never looked like it has in the picture -- now I know what to strive for each time I practice. After about 10 days of working on those things, I feel like I'm improving and, more importantly, I'm able to work on things without injury. I think the most helpful thing for me were Gabe's explanations about why those things (trail arm hinge, hip rotation, extension) were so important to building a solid foundation and avoiding further damage to my elbows. He also emphasized the importance of feeling uncomfortable when working on new things, which I think we all intuitively understand but don't make a priority in our regular practice. Looking forward to working with Gabe again when I'm back in the city -- in the meantime I plan on hitting him up for virtual lessons. Added bonuses -- the Five Iron location is super nice and the technology and equipment they have there are top notch. I never used an indoor simulator outside of lessons but my friends and I had a great time playing horrible simulated golf :)

For…read morestarters, I went from scoring in the 100-110 range before working with Gabe to shooting as low as 92 in less than a month. This is possible because Gabe has the teaching and playing experience to coach you in all aspects of your game, whether it's course management or building confidence around your shots. Gabe has elevated my awareness of my own swing and helped me stay committed to making long term swing changes. Like many golfers starting out, I still struggle with the basics like consistent contact, club face control, and release. No instructor can transform your swing overnight, but TRUST he will give you the right things to work on and many ways to work on them. As a result, I am making solid contact with the ball more frequently, have 15+ yards in distance per club, and am hitting straighter shots. Most importantly, Gabe will teach you how to be your own coach. Working with Gabe over time has given me the tools to diagnose and straighten out issues in my own swing even on a day when "I just can't seem to hit the ball." It has also taught me to consume the myriad golf content I encounter online with a critical eye. I know what I need to work on thanks to Gabe, and any of the bad rounds I shoot now and going forward would not be for a lack of excellent instruction. If this is helpful context, I picked up golf in 2020, have mediocre natural hand-eye coordination, and am not a particularly quick learner. All that is to say that if Gabe can help my game this much in six months, he can most certainly help anyone. There is no one I would rather trust with my swing.

I ordered their gochujang boneless wings they came like 5-10 minutes after i sat down. I'm eating 2 boneless wings they tasted fine but when i get to the third wing the texture was just off. I proceeded to tell the guy at the bar my wing is raw and he's like "that's not possible we grill the boneless wings, it's okay if they're a little pink." A little pink? I know i didn't want a rare nugget.I showed it to him and a manager they gave me another order of wings they were a bit more crispy. They sent two orders in by accident so i ended up taking home an order of wings. Overall staff is nice the place looks clean. Just make sure you check your food.

I gave it four stars and not 5 only due to the fact that the music that was playing in the waiting area as I said above plays in the back area and to me it was a little distracting to hear the music that was sorta on the loud side while trying to listen to the instructor. The Hack Shack itself is simple, but the TrackMan is excellent, they had all the women's clubs I needed. The large private room made starting a new sport feel much less intimidating. I have hit at Chelsea Piers and it felt like chaos. This was calm, focused, and genuinely confidence building. If you are a beginner, especially a woman who is nervous to start, go see Evan!

This would have injured my hips or knees. Evan was rude and lazy about teaching me proper technique for golf. Evan has no ability to teach a new golfer how to swing a club or how to play golf. He also has no skills in talking to new golfers. Lastly, a week after my lesson, Evan returned a prior call and asked if I was still interested in having a golf lesson with him. Very poor customer service, He didnt even remember that he met me a week earlier. For $190 Evan was a complete scam!

My dad got my boyfriend golf lessons with Marc as a gift for his birthday and he could not have…read morepicked a better gift! After the lesson he went on and on about how beneficial it was. After a few swings Marc was able to diagnose the main issue with the swing and make the proper adjustment. They were able to work through irons, driver and sand wedge within the hour and he is excited to put the revamped swing to use on the course. He also particularly loved the screen that you hit into and the type of data you are able to derive from it (angle of contact, open vs closed club face, etc.). It was easy to see how the adjustment translated into better data and better contact. Now he is excited to put what he learned to use on the course.

I began taking lessons with Marc about three months ago. I have played golf casually my entire…read morelife, but never really got into it seriously until recently. I really wanted to improve my game and was getting frustrated with how inconsistently I was hitting the ball, even though I would work hard to hit the range on a weekly basis. Marc started me out with the basics, teaching me to improve minor things in my swing. He never stressed getting things right the first time, but rather getting me to a point where I could start playing consistent golf and start scoring. As the lessons wemt on, I could feel my swing start to gradually change and fill out more. It was a beautiful thing to experience. After four lessons and a good deal of practice on the concepts Marc has taught me, I am now scoring on the golf course better than I would have ever imagined (from 105s to 88s). My drives are straight and my irons are more accurate than they've ever been, with very consistent, pure contact. This was by far the best decision I could have ever made for my golf game, and I strongly recommend Marc to anyone that wants to learn the right mechanics of swinging a club and wants to finally iron out that nasty slice!
