My daughter ultimately received a builder gel manicure, despite that not being her original preference. She was charged $80 for a very short, simple nude set, which I felt was excessive considering the minimal length and design. More concerning was the fact that several of her fingers and cuticles were cut during the service. As for my experience, I requested a basic gel polish manicure but felt repeatedly encouraged to upgrade to builder gel. I had to firmly express that I only wanted the service I had requested. Unfortunately, my manicure lacked the attention to detail I would expect from a professional salon. There was no cuticle care or proper nail shaping, and the gel polish was applied with minimal preparation. Additionally, my natural nails were filed down excessively, leaving them noticeably thin and sensitive. To be fair, both of our manicures turned out aesthetically pleasing. However, the quality of service, attention to detail, and overall experience did not justify the cost. The salon itself offers a beautiful atmosphere and an upscale ambiance, which I can appreciate. Unfortunately, my impression was that more emphasis was placed on the environment and upselling services than on delivering the quality of nail care that should accompany premium pricing. Overall, while the final appearance of our nails was satisfactory, I left disappointed with the experience. I got to work later that night and a nail broke off!! I messaged them and they said it wasn't their fault since it was a fill that they did, BUT the nail that broke off was new from them! I had a missing nail when I got there and asked for a fill and a new nail for the one missing..... I paid $38 for the fill and nail repair. I never went back to get another coat. I did however like the way they reshaped my nails, only plus from my experience!
