Never judge a book by its cover. Totally applies here. Doesn't look like much on the outside and also located in a somewhat isolated area. Always pass by on the way to Costco and we are so glad we decided to try this place. Recommend calling in advance because they take time to make the food. Ordered a few times and each time the food is nice and piping hot when we pick up. It's also nice to be able to customize our meals. Falafel salad - the falafel was a nice surprise. Crunchy and filling and a good number of falafel. Combo over rice (chicken and lamb) - my favorite! Good portion, delicious meat and well flavored. We got the pita on the side and the meals came with both hot sauce and white sauce. White sauce is more watery than I like but it's good. I went to the location on Lawson Blvd because I was always interested in the french fry mascot on the window. I'm a huge fan of chicken over rice but had a really hard time deciding what to get because so many things sounded so good! I'm definitely going to have to go back to try the fried chicken or one of the wraps. The large "We Have the Best Fries" sign outside the store inspired us to pick up an order of fried. We got the small and it was a generous serving. We also got two dips: roasted garlic and basil. I cannot recommend the fried and these two dips enough! read more

I ordered the honey grilled chicken wrap on Grub Hub and a small soup, they didn't have that particular soup today so I received a phone call from the establishment to let me know other options but I ended up just cancelling that item. Olives, feta, dolma (one cut int little pieces), onions and tomato were only identifiable by sight, not taste. Don't be fooled by the nondescript exterior, this unassuming eatery is a hidden gem. Food is always ready for pick up within twenty minutes of the order. I am a vegetarian, and after two years of ordering consistently from them, I have yet to tire of the falafel over rice ( with extra white and red sauce). Yesterday I added the Sweet Potato Ginger Soup and a slice of carrot cake. Delicious, freshly-prepared, true to its cultural roots, well-priced and a wide selection that should please any palate; their staff is always warm and friendly. A cafe nearby (which I also enjoy) charges double for their carrot cake, which may be as good, but certainly not better. We decided to take out lunch to support local businesses during this time but I clearly was much better off making my own food at home, or going elsewhere. I ordered a crispy chicken wrap and it no joke had one slice of chicken in it.. it was so sad looking. It was mostly wrap and lettuce.
