Ten stars if I could give that many! I truly can't say enough good things about the job Marcin and his team did in a complicated project at my home. This was a complex job because it involved replacing around 20% of the wood boards going across two large rooms due to water damage and seamlessly blending in the new boards with the old ones. Upon meeting with a few flooring companies with great online reviews, Marcin stood out for his expertise, fair pricing, the fact that he personally does the work unlike most company owners who often do a sales pitch and then disappear, and the fact that he uses a "dustless" system that really minimizes wood dust flying around everywhere and allowed us to remain in our home while the work was done. Upon doing the job, Marcin exceeded all expectations. As for the work itself, Marcin is an artist and a perfectionist. I have had a lot of different types of contractors over the past few years do work at my home, and it is rare to find someone like this who takes so much pride in their craftsmanship and reputation that they are independently motivated to do an outstanding job. Furthermore, the job was even more complex than we expected due to a few surprises and Marcin worked extended hours and over the weekend in order to keep the rest of my project on schedule. The quality of work and professionalism was simply outstanding and was done at a fair price. I couldn't ask for more and hope Marcin is available the next time I have flooring work at my home. If you are considering new floors, you have come to the right place. When I made the decision to ditch the ugly carpeting and have Vinyl Plank floors installed I did some research and found great reviews for Euro Floors. An earlier review said Marcin "was a master at his craft!" So I decided to call Marcin for an estimate. From that moment on, I knew I made the right decision. Marcin was courteous, competent, professional and quite frankly, a very nice person. He assured me - although my house is very old with very uneven floors - not only that he was capable of taking on this job but it would be beautiful when done. He was right! Marcin and Froylan removed carpeting and an old pine floor, installed a new sub-floor and levelled the entire first floor of my house. Although the leveling was tedious and a lot more time consuming than Marcin anticipated, he was a true, honest professional and honored his original estimate. This is rare. Marcin and Froylan worked in my home for 10 days. They arrived on time, put in a full day's work and cleaned up at the end of every single day. Today, my house is absolutely beautiful. And for the first time it's perfectly level! Even my husband (who was very resistant to this project :)) LOVES the new floors! I cannot speak more highly of Euro Floors. Euro Floors recently completed a new hardwood floor installation throughout my home. I couldn't be happier with the results, it really came out great. I had gotten estimates from 1/2 a dozen flooring contractors over several months (I really like to do my homework.) Marcin the owner of Euro Floors was the first contractor to give me an estimate and I was impressed with his knowledge immediately, he came out to my house and was there for about an hour, I had another guy come to give me an estimate and he left his van running and was done in less than 10 minutes(his quote was a lot less too), another flooring company came for an estimate and didn't even bring a tape measure he had to borrow mine. I did get a couple other legitimate companies give me quotes all basically the same price as Euro Floors. Those other companies I suspect, have a few guys on a crew and they install the wood but they aren't true artisans. Marcin does the work himself and takes massive pride in doing it, he is a true craftsman and a perfectionist with a serious eye for detail. The crew lead by Marcin works incredibly hard, they show up on time and stick to the schedule that was discussed. They are neat and clean and focused on their work not playing/talking on their phones discussing another job or the next job. First off we are extremely pleased with how our floors were refinished. They look brand new. After having several estimates from several different flooring guys we ended up choosing Euro floors. The owner Marcin came in and was extremely knowledagble and was able to answer all of the questions we had. He also provided us with brochures on the Bona products he uses and explained in detail the pros of using them. When work began he was early every day and prior to the work beginning he had prepped the entire downstairs with plastic to ensure nothing gets damaged. He uses a dustless system that left little to no mess after sanding. He took the time resanding to ensure the floors were perfect and free of waves before applying the stain. When all things were done, our floors look like new. Any questions we had along the way he got back to us quickly. We have already recommended him to our friends and wouldn't hesitate for a second to use Euro Floors again for later projects. read more

The search for the best-qualified contractor to install a quality hardwood floor began in March of 2013. It is necessary for me to express my extreme satisfaction working with Euro Floors. They were so helpful, courteous and punctual every step of the way from preparation, clean up, to the finished product. Professionals all the way! We refinished 2600 sq ft of existing hardwood floors as well as extend and install new matching hardwood floor to continue into two other rooms. We were very concerned about going green. Marcin, who is a certified craftsman suggessted we go with the dustless sanding and using the Bona waterborne product, that contain no toxic fumes or odor since we have small children. Euro Floors was absolutely amazing! I don't even know where to begin. During this pandemic I wasn't even sure if I could get someone to come out. But when I called on Monday they came that Wednesday. They were on time, professional, extremely thorough and very, very clean. Their dustless process and low odor poly was great: My ONLY regret is that I didn't use them for my other floors when I had them redone 3 years ago (I used Euro Floors for my spare bedroom). However I still have my master bedroom that needs to be done and I already know that I'll be using them. Honestly I can't say enough great things about them and I would recommend without hesitation. The oak floors in our house squeaked so badly and were so worn we finally decided to do something about it. We had obtained estimates from a few flooring companies and each had a different plan to rid us of the awful squeaks. We decided to use Marcin from Euro Floors, he took the time to explain the reason why he was doing the job the way he was. We instantly felt he was a professional and cared about the quality of his work. He did not disappoint! They removed the old flooring and installed new oak flooring. Marcin took the time to look at each piece of oak flooring he was installing to make sure the plank didn't have too many knots, discoloration, etc. that would affect the outcome of the looks of the floor. Marcin Zyskowski and his associate from Euro Floors LLC recently refinished my living room and dining room wood floors. They did an excellent job. Always punctual, which is a quality I highly value, they performed skillful, detailed work. Since there had previously always been wall-to-wall carpeting, upon removal we discovered some problems. Marcin offered several options, explaining each choice, subsequent extra expense and time allocation. The old carpet was neatly bundled and all other debris was bagged, ready for disposal. Euro Floors was a pleasure to work with. Marcin and his crew member were very thorough and kept the work site clean. They were always courteous and kept me up to date on things that came-up on the job. I had carpets ripped up from all the rooms and the wood floors came out great. There were some areas that required repair and you wouldn't even know it looking at it today. I also had another room updated with some Luxury Vinyl Plank which turned out excellent. Marcin helped guide me on some products that he thought were good but left the decision to me as to what product he would install. I was really happy with the job Eurofloors did on my old apartment's hardwood floors, sanding off all the old finish down to raw wood and applying three coats of polyurethane. All the stains and minor gouges are gone, the whole floor has no blemishes at all, and is extremely smooth to the touch. We didn't use any stain or tint, just allowed the visualization of the (light) natural color of the red oak to come through and topped with a final Poly coat of Satin sheen. It really looks great. This combination of no (darkening) stain or tint with the Satin sheen brightened the rooms without the slight glare that a gloss might give off. I'm very happy with it. Great job! I'll definitely call Marcin again to hire for my next floor refinishing. read more

I cannot recommend Marcin and his team more highly. We hired Euro Floors to sand and refinish floors in a new apartment after they came highly recommended by a neighbor. We needed the job done quickly so we could move in, and Marcin came in promptly and got the job done in just a few days. I especially appreciated that he was clear about pricing (which was per square foot) and walked me through the detailed estimate, clearly explaining each charge and what repairs he considered necessary. I have used EURO FLOORS twice . In 2018 they refinished an older existing wood floor and repaired / replaced a section of the floor destroyed by a burst pipe . The floor looks amazing - better than when new without any visible difference between the original and replaced section of flooring . Marcin is a complete professional who demonstrates why it's important and valuable to have a specialist work on your floors. EuroFloors did our house when we first bought and renovated it 22 years ago, but when we did work on the first floor this year, we foolishly gave the entire job to one contractor. That team was very good on painting walls, but had no idea how to work with floors or the self-knowledge to admit it. They did a terrible job leaving the floors badly sanded and badly polyeurothaned. Marcin is a true professional. We had just bought a 100 year old home in Northport with old growth Douglas fur floors that we wanted to save. Not only did they bring those floors back to life but they were fast, clean, and priced very appropriately. Marcin did some fantastic repairs to the floors. He was very patient with us on picking out a stain and the finish came out great!. He even came back to check on the floors for us. Marcin of Euro Floors did a great job refinishing our floors last month. All of these great reviews are not fake or embellished. They're a premium company so you'll pay a premium price but it's worth it, and I wanted the best possible quality. I had ~900sqft sanded, water popped, stained, Bona Amber Sealed, and 3 coats of Bona Traffic HD polyurethane. Done in 5 days, and scheduled in a tight window before move in. They even came on a snow day and shoveled to get to the house while I wasn't there. Marcin guided us to a perfect color match of our stairs that weren't getting redone. Highly recommend! read more

Marcin was great to work with. He's professional and very respectful of your preferences and is very easy to deal with. When you hire a professional it's nice to be able to rely on their expertise and not have to act like the contractor instead of the customer.
