Something that grossed me out where the carpets. Goodness looks like dirt caked into the carpet. We need rug Dr in the house ASAP!!! Or at least a whole carpet removal! Used the restrooms, seemed fairly clean with the exception of a pooped toilet. I made sure to use the restroom in the fartest entrance. Prior to my visit, I had gone to see Zootopia and cannot believe how people on five dollar Tuesday treat the environment where they have wrappers on the floor and it is just pandemonium. Overall, I was rated as a B minus experience, but I really enjoyed the movie Hail Mary. Sadly, on a Tuesday the bigger theaters for $5 Dollar Tuesdays were trashed. Don't people know how to aim at the trash or know to treat other places better or similar to their own homes?

The movie prices are reasonable. They do an overall good job of keeping up the theater. We came to see "back to the future", which was celebrating its 40th anniversary with a re-release on the big screen. It's a fun movie and it was great to see it on the big screen again. The way they do the tickets, is they don't have a separate ticket booth, the people who run the snack bar also sell the tickets. The problem is, when we were there, there were only two people at the snack bar, and they were selling tickets and running the snack bar at the same time. My sister ,and I waited in line over 10 minutes, and we were still quite a ways from the front of the line. I made a comment how one person should just be selling tickets, and fortunately , another person in line ahead of me heard my comment, and said that there was a ticket kiosk, and he pointed it out to me. We didn't want anything at the snack bar, so I went over to the kiosk to get our tickets, and we headed into the theater. The reason I'm taking away a star, as while it's nice to have the ticket kiosk, As happened to us, if you don't know, it's there, you will miss it. There should be something that points you to the ticket kiosk, so that you don't automatically get in line if you don't know it's there. That was a bit of an inconvenience and if we would've had to wait in that long line to buy our tickets, we would've missed the beginning of the movie. Now that we know about the kiosk, we will use it in the future. They just need to be more obvious about letting people know it's there.

It had been awhile since my last visit so I lined up despite paying online in their website in advance. I am so glad I did this because they had to search me up on their website and give me a stamp if I needed to step out fir fresh air. Indoors, you either can walk forward to order food or make a left or right to walk into the venue. I walked the hallway to reserve my seating and set my stuff down. Seating works in mysterious ways you can either sit on a table or tall stool against the wall. If you have someone sit in front of you, they might block your view. So it's not the most ideal. I hope in the future they update this feature with comfy recliner chairs and an elevated movie experience. I understand it can also be for concerts so some compromising must be done. Unfortunately I did not use the restroom or order food so I couldn't tell you what that was like. I was highly disappointed with their rug near their kitchen area and hallway. It grossed me out so much that I decided against buying any food. I hope they decide on using a rug doctor in the future!!! Carpet blah Food didn't order Setup can't see if a taller sits in front of you

The 1920-30s building is from an era gone by, a time when going the the theater used to mean something. It was an event to go to in its day. Painstalkingly restored and revitalized, with attention to the details is obvious when walking into and through this building. An architecturally beautiful Art Deco facility. Ornate detailings throughout the building with impressive fixtures and appointments and true to its heritage. There is really not a bad seat in this house, as it is designed and setup for live performances. My visit was no exception, six rows back and stage left. A near perfect location for a view on to the stage without looking up. The sound system is top notch as well, and the acoustics exceptional throughout the building. Be sure to check out the Artist level downstairs very cool. 4.5 Stars - rounded up for the great restoration of a great old building 00651

The production itself was good. There were a few aspects of the production that were surprising... Borderline startling... But in total the talent as well as the student aspects were very pleasant. There were even some cameos by some local icons! (No spoilers!) The venue itself has sufficiently comfortable seats and an open, spacious lobby. The mezzanine is large and affords good vantage. I sat center in row m, which was a bit away from the stage. This didn't bother me as the space is intimate enough to afford fine views from everywhere. The decor of this site is downplayed. I am not sure how to define it... Neither Grecian nor Elizabethan but borrowing from both, the walls made of a sculptors wide brush-strokes. I didn't entirely like it... But it certainly didn't detract from the production quality. I will possibly revise to 5 star after my next visit... As the missing star has more to do with the specific production than the venue itself!
