Excellent getaway in an area in the woods just off route 62 in Eureka Springs. They have 4 types of lodging - not just treehouses. They have treehouses, castles, caves/hobbit holes and Harry Potter themed rooms. All are separate and detached from each other - behind a gate. We stayed in a hobbit hole (you go down concrete steps - built into the earth) It had a king-sized bed, fireplace, refrigerator, microwave, couch with ottoman, jacuzzi tub, outside sitting area, large closet, and a view out to the woods (below the higher ground level) on the only side of the 4 "walls" that's not totally underground - where we saw a deer. Very relaxing and romantic place that is a short drive to the Eureka Springs attractions. It is enough off route 62 that you truly feel remote - it was quiet. read more

We stayed in an Avatar Cavern. It was a lovely place to stay and we were very comfortable. The jetted tub was nice after a long day of walking (everything is uphill in Eureka Springs!). The bed and pillows were comfortable. We did contactless check in and the process was easy. It was nice to have a fridge to put drinks and leftovers in. Just one flaw and suggestion- bring your own shampoo/conditioner/body wash. I expected standard or better to be available at this price point, but there was just a single dispenser in the shower with "shampoo/body wash." Had to go down the road to Dollar General to get some better toiletries. read more

I LOVE Harry Potter, and it's a 'thing' for my niece and I. I was originally looking at the treehouse, and as I was looking at availability, I saw the cottages. It was a done deal! Each cottage had a sauna, a 2-person jacuzzi tub, and a SECRET door. You get a little spa gift, which was very nice and more than I expected. We also had an unexpected snack basket, which definitely came in handy. I got the bday package, which includes decorations, champagne, an amazing chocolate cake, and very nice, sturdy keepsake grasses. It was well worth the package price. Check-in was super easy, but be advised check out is at 10. They were very accommodating to allow me to check out at 11 so I could conduct a work meeting before I left. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I encourage you to stay in Hogsveil. read more

We stayed in a hobbit cave. It was amazing. Super clean. Beautiful shower. Very private. Basket with snacks. We had a package added with cake, champagne, wine glasses etc. We were so impressed with that cake too. There were deer on top of our cave the first night. It's so beautiful there. read more

This place was awesome! We arrived after hours and the check in process was seamless. Due to COVID-19, all check ins were completed via parking at the Hogsveil sister location and walking through a door to the right hand side of the main gate to the main office. We were able to find our designated envelope with our keys and gate remote. What's nice about this property and the Hogsveil sister property is that they are off the main highway and behind remote-controlled gates. We stayed in a Harry Potter-themed cabin at the Hogsveil location across the way. Each cabin/treehouse/cave has designated parking. Both properties are well lit at night. Our cabin was very cozy and had ample space. It had a deck with a nice view of the wooded area. It included a "hidden" bedroom with a king-sized bed and electric fireplace, a kitchenette with a mini fridge, coffee maker, sink, dishes/glasses/utensils, an outdoor sauna, a jetted hot tub, and a beautiful tiled shower. There were two flat screen TVs that each had DVD players with a few DVDs for viewing. When we arrived, there was a snack basket and a hand written thank you note from the property owners. The wife has been asking to stay in a tree house for a few years now. And so I finally gave up and booked it. So this being our first time here. It was Amazing.! We really enjoyed the seclusion and the quietness of the location. Just so relaxing and peaceful, we were both very pleased with our stay and the staff had everything set up as planned for our get away. We loved our stay at the Eureka Springs Treehouses! My husband is not a fan of overly themed cabins or cottages, so when someone suggested staying in a treehouse, I was a little reluctant. I researched some treehouses and found Eureka Springs Treehouses. It has themed treehouses (castles and caves), but also has ones with simple layouts, minimal decoration and modern amenities (i.e air conditioning). We went with the Central Park treehouse. It was a modern looking room with a treehouse view - the best of both worlds. We also liked that it's small, quiet and adults only. We drove by the castle and hobbit cave treehouses. The cave ones were under some grass mounds. I would've loved to have a peek inside. They looked really cool. It's a short drive from historic downtown which is fine. There's a trolley stop right outside the gate so it's easy to get into town. It's actually better for everyone to do that. The streets downtown are narrow and parking is very limited. We totally recommend Eureka Springs Treehouses for anyone who wants a quiet relaxing get away. And for those who are looking for castle or hobbit caves, they have those too. read more

This place is totally worth the long drive from Dallas! It was super easy to find and the email with the helpful directions came In handy. As soon as you walk in, you're blown away! The room is huge and had everything we needed, coffee, mini-fridge, wine classes and a wine bottle opener, which I always forget to pack! The hot tub was so relaxing and the TV just above it is a nice touch. The shower made me question all my decisions in life, like how have I lived my entire existence without ever experiencing a shower like this!? I also loved how private and quiet the location is and everything is only minutes away. Overall, great experience and hope to stay in a tree house next time. My husband and I just returned from a little getaway to Eureka Springs. We've been married 13 years and gone on many trips, this might have been the best place we have ever stayed. We stayed in the enchanted cavern and to our delight the pictures from the website were exactly like our experience. The moment you walk in the door, you are made to feel welcome with soft lights, music, welcome basket and banners, and what I love most, an extremely CLEAN smell and look to everything! We loved how there was no carpet, because shared/hotel carpet tends to gross us out a bit. I couldn't stop smiling and taking pictures. We wondered about seeing bugs with being underground and in the woods, never saw a single one. The housekeeping was also great and it was so relaxing to come back to a pristine cavern at the end of each day. Such a quiet area! Never heard a single person! This place really makes you feel like you are in a secluded area and home away from home. If we return to eureka springs, we will definitely be booking this place again! read more

Found this place through a Facebook ad, and decided to take a trip up to check it out. We checked in after 8:30pm on a Sunday so it was a bit of an adventure trying to find the place. Our GPS was taking us all over the place and when we finally found it there was a key in the mailbox but it had been raining so the directions to get to the actual treehouses was wet. The treehouses themselves were very nice. They had a deck, a hot tub and a king size bed. The decor was a lot more modern than I thought it was going to be. Checkout is a little early at 10am. 11 or 12 would have been nice. They left us a handwritten note and a basket of snacks. Overall, we had a good experience here! There were many things that I didn't enjoy. My husband took me here as an early Valentines getaway, upon arriving the women at the check in desk gave us a paper with restaurants for food options (literally only one was open), the whole town was shut down and the cost was a bit expensive for it being "off season". The shower was extremely small, the heater in the wall kept making a knocking noise, the heat in the bathroom didn't work, when I tried calling the office multiple times I kept getting a voicemail stating they were busy to leave a message so we drove to the office in which there was a sign on the door saying they were gone. One night I left around 10 and the privacy gate was wide open and when I returned it was still open. The bathtub was amazing and it's very quiet outside however definitely wouldnt suggest spending your money here. read more

It was the perfect place to recharge our batteries for a couple days. The treehouse has everything you need and then some! We are celebrating our five year anniversary. We wanted something unique but affordable for our budget. We found the Oak Crest Cottages Treehouses, Caves, and Hobbits. We booked one of their hobbit houses for our four day three night stay. I wasn't sure what to expect but when we arrived it was amazing! To check in you'll need to check into the Oak Crest Cottages on Hwy 62. Listen to their directions. It is about a half mile past Pivot Rock Road. The Hobbit caves are located in the opposite direction. They'll provide a map when you check in. I was a little reserved at first because we had to back track but wait for this... You have to enter through a wrought iron gate decorated with trees so it's nice and secluded from the normal traffic. You drive in a u drive that's lines with tree houses, tree castles, and then the hobbit caves. There's ample parking for your stay. The hobbit houses are all a little different from what I understand. Ours was amazing. Intimate with a comfortable king sized bed. There's a jetted tub big enough for two and a giant rain shower with sprayers on the sides. There's a little balcony so you can sit outside and admire the trees. I never heard neighbors or other guests except when we went walking to see the water feature and little chapel they built on site. We purchased the romance package. When we walked in there was a delicious cake, champagne, and bathing kit. The owners wrote a kind note thanking us for our stay and wishing us happy anniversary. They even filled the ice tray for us. It's the little things. In all we had a wonderful stay and the people in Eureka are kind and welcoming. We will definitely be staying again. read more

Kauai Grotto We stayed in one in the Kauai Grottos and we absolutely loved it! They thought of everything for a romantic couples getaway. It is a unique experience that I highly recommend. It was private, quiet and romantic. Downtown was only a short distance away. There are lots of places in the area to eat. read more

This place was perfect! We headed down on a Saturday for a long weekend getaway. We left on Monday morning. With the directions provided by the business, we found it easily and were greeted by a friendly woman at the front desk when we arrived. She was helpful and gave recommendations on area restaurants. We stayed in a rustic cabin although, across the way they also had cabins that looked like castles. We noticed this place also had caves for accommodations. We had a designated parking spot straight across from our front door and everything was well lit at night. The cabin was cozy and simply decorated. The king size bed was comfortable with no shortage of pillows and bedside lighting. There was a TV that you could easily watch from the bed and another flat screen television above the gas fireplace in the living area. The kitchenette had a microwave and a coffee pot along with a mini fridge and a small sink. Basic supplies and dishes were provided. The jetted garden tub was interestingly located in the living area where you could watch TV from the bathtub if you wanted to. The bathroom had a stall shower with better than average towels and washcloths. The water pressure and temperature was fantastic! We had a yummy little snack basket and a nice note from the owners on the table in the kitchen area when we arrived. It was a lovely touch! The unit had a rather large wooden deck off the back, with seating and a nice view of the woods. Both televisions had a DVD player, and a basket on the hearth contained games, puzzles, and a small selection of movies. The property is off the main road and in a secured area behind a locked gate that is only accessible by guests. There was a beautifully landscaped water fountain area as you enter the property. Wi-Fi was included and worked well. The only thing we might suggest changing is updating the television in the living area. We brought our fire stick to watch movies but were unable to connect it because of its location on the wall. The plug was not accessible. A smart TV would be great! But seriously, that's just nitpicking. We had a wonderful stay! We would definitely go back. read more

Maybe a hobbit Cave would be better in the cooler months. We are staying here in June for four nights. This is our last night. We cannot get the temperature in this cave less than 69°.. The back porch we are unable to use because the air-conditioner blows heat on the back porch and makes the back porch unbearable. The toilet doesn't function properly. It is a little tricky to get it to fill up and flush. The idea and the decor is amazingly Beautiful inside. However for the steep price to stay here ; I would expect it to be fabulous in every aspect of comfort and beauty. sadly it does fail... FYI do not waste your money on any of the packages such as the love mugs. Not at all worth the $$$. They did refund for them and of corse we did not touch them. read more

We love this place ! My wife and I were married just outside our Castle , at the sweet little chapel just a few steps down the path.... everything is well-maintained-- the grounds are pristine . Inside the castle it was spotless... not a speck of dust. REALLY nice and romantic, not to mention the wonderful town of E.S. itself..... after our marriage they gave us a bottle of champagne and two commemorative champagne flutes that said "we were married in Eureka Springs" on them ...unfortunately my wife accidentally broke one of ours a few years later.....She was HEARTBROKEN---in tears.....I secretly emailed Tammy and crew at ES treehouses , to see if I could buy a replacement glass for a surprise Christmas gift.... not only did she make a special trip down to the post office ...they only asked for reimbursement of shipping charges - nothing more . Very generous and definitely going above and beyond for their customers.....(my wife cried again when she opened up the replacement glass ) We cant wait to get up there again to stay in another treehouse.... it's a lovely place for a get-away and we highly recommended it ....you wont be disappointed ! read more

This place is absolutely amazing. We are staying at the magic castle for two nights and the enchanted forest for two nights. When we arrived today they had music playing, mood lighting set, a welcome basket with a personalized note and goodies AND a bag of games/cards/movies for us to enjoy. We came back to the tree house after dinner and there were deer all in our pasture, how cool is that?? Then we immediately indulged in the jacuzzi by the fireplace WHILE watching the super bowl. My husband and I were wedded here this fall and had an amazing experience. Eureka Springs itself is such a magical place, then being able to stay in a Castle Treehouse and get married in front of a waterfall just made it all the more special. The staff was so generous and our rooms were so clean it felt like we were the first ones that had ever stayed in it. Their properties provide hotel-like amenities with a homey feel and I loved that it was well hidden and secluded. We hardly saw anyone else even though there were other guests on the property. We didn't want to leave! And already plan on coming back for our anniversary. Be sure to check out the Foresthill Restaurant right next door! They have a killer breakfast buffet and some awesome BBQ chicken pizza. We almost didn't go in because it looks a little run down from the outside by the inside is very clean and the food was great! read more

i'm confused as to whether the oak crest cottages and treehouses are the same thing, so i'm posting this review on both (they seem to be the same on the websites)... regardless, we stayed two nights in the sante fe treehouse at the end of a long road trip.after checking in at oak crest and meeting the very sweet owner, who was clearly proud of what he and his wife had carved out in eureka springs, we were ready to get settled. we were excited to go down the private drive in search of our treehouse (not really a treehouse, but it is built among the trees, above the ground, pretty cool). our treehouse was spacious and clean. with a gigantic bed, fireplace, good sized deck, and gigantic bathtub, it was the perfect place to stretch out and relax after a couple of solid days on the road. we went into town one day, but really could have stayed holed up here the entire weekend. free wi-fi was a really nice bonus (paying for that in hotels always has me scratching my head), as was the double glider swing on the deck. oh, and the sheets on the bed? really really nice. perfect spot for a little getaway, if you can get a reservation (seems to book up fast!) read more

Let's get one thing straight; you will enjoy your time here. It is relaxing and serene while providing several amenities of modern comfort. If your searching for the rustic idea of what comes to mind when we hear "treehouse" then you might be disappointed. But if your open to a new experience and willing to see beyond the modern ingenuity of this concept, then your in for a real treat. The houses are themed; Our New York tree house was pristine. You drive up into a common area where it seems like your neighbored closely to the next lot. However, once inside and unless you venture out into the town, you forget that there are others here as well. Your treehouse is positioned just right so that your view of the woods feels as if it's yours alone. There's a large jacuzzi tub open to the view outside or to the adjacent flat screen t.v. You will find comfort and peace here. We will definitely return and experience the other spaces which include castle treehouses and hobbit caves. This was a truly awesome vacation! read more

We stayed in a Venice Treehouse. Loved all the wildliffe (deer etc) on the property. You can sit in the Jacuzzi and look out the wall of windows at all of the trees just gorgeous views. Location is close to everything, yet it is very private, soesn't seem like you are right in town with how peaceful place is. This is the place to come if you are looking for a Relaxing Stay. read more
